Our party loved the foie grad with smoked duck as as appetizer. Our plat principal were: sanglier, roasted chicken and white fish. The savigny wine is a local favorite, for some it will be an acquired taste, as it is reminiscent of white sherry. Reservations are suggested as it fills up quickly. Total of nine tables. The service was excellent and very friendly.

Didn't know where to eat when I arrived to Gaillard, (not very many people use Yelp in Europe…read moreapparently) I came across this place & the young lady behind the counter was very friendly & spoke English. It was intimidating at first, because of the language barrier; but she was kind enough to help communicate in English. We ordered a plate of chicken tenders, frites, and a boisson (a drink.) The chicken was very good--white chicken. The fries were tasty & served with ketchup & mayonnaise. The ketchup tasted differently here than it did in Paris, France, ironically. The restaurant is very clean & she even asked us how we were doing with our meal. They close at 22:30 (which was great because everything else was closed pretty much) & they have plenty of seating. Only thing, we spent about 25€ for two plates, but it's a lot of food. We definitely could of shared.
