Highlights:
- Steak frites: my husband's favorite French dish and this first steak of our France trip ended up being the best. Quality piece of meat, well cooked, and perfectly seasoned. 5 stars
- Bread: extra delicious french bread slices. 5 stars
- Homey atmosphere: cute wooden tables with plaid table clothes
- Escargot: plenty set in garlic butter in the standard fun dish with the little indentations. 4 stars
- Duck confit: tasty leg though thin potatoes were greasy. 4 stars
- Charcuterie pork plate: substantial for a starter with heaps of cured meats and 2 pates. 4 stars
- Cheese plate: 3 large pieces of soft cheese. 3.5 stars
- Half bottles: significant selection to order from giving us plenty of options. All were good as well.
- Staff: were kind to us to let us in close to closing unlike others in the area
- Substantial menu with many options to chose from including 2 prices for a set menu
Lowlights:
- More restaurants we went to weren't like this ;-)
