10 year warranty = 365 days. I purchased a Maytag washing machine 410 days ago because you know, the Maytag repairman's bored to tears because these things don't break down, last forever and all that. Plus, how can you beat a 10 year warranty? So I purchased one at Attwood's because I'd rather deal with a locally owned outfit rather than the big box stores whenever I can. Almost hardly on the outside of a year this thing starts throwing codes, locks the door and bricks itself with a full load of clothes and a tub full of water. I called Attwood's service dept. explained the situation and was told it would be $100 for a service call, ouch. But ok, if that's what it takes let's do it. He says someone will be there Wednesday. Fair enough! He calls back a half hour later to inform me that they don't service my area (50 miles away) I was dumbfounded, but offered to pay extra if that's what it would take. He told me no, I'd have to bring it in to them. I told him there's no way I could get a fully loaded machine off the pedestal and loaded into my truck, and again offered to pay extra, and that maybe they needed to make an exception to their travel distance policy. He said he'd call me back. About an hour later he calls and tells me the powers that be say no can do, I then told him this is just rude, you sold me the thing, it's screwed, and I expect you to stand behind the thing and come fix it. He said sorry, like his hands were tied, and that I was the one being rude, I then informed him that he hadn't seen rude yet, but if I have anything to do about it the entire internet will. He replied, really? then hung up on me. Shortly thereafter I began scouring the net looking for possible solutions which led me to a sensor that I had to open the machine to locate. I found the sensor and was able to get it out, take it apart, clean the connections, blow out the diaphragm and connecting hose and get the machine running again. In the meantime Attwood's calls back and this time it was a woman apologizing and saying how sorry she was that it had failed so shortly after the warranty expired. (I thought this thing had a 10 year warranty) She then gave me a number to Maytag and told me if I called them and raised holy hell adding that I'll never buy another product of theirs, that what usually happens is they'll call the seller (Attwood's) and demand they go fix it and will also pay them extra for the job, mileage etc. then she said that Attwood's would come out and fix it. Wait, what? Why should I even have to deal with the manufacturer, they didn't sell it to me. Attwood's should have had my back and taken care of all of this behind the scenes without me, especially since they know this game and must play it often enough. Pass the buck? Make me the middleman? What ever happened to accountability? So in closing, I'd say before you buy a major brand name appliance at Atwood's you'd better live less than 5 minutes from them, (for their convenience) or see if you can take the diagnostic and service technician course from the manufacturer of your product so you can fix it yourself, because at Atwood's, service stops at the sale, and getting "serviced" comes afterwards. Called for service on a refrigerator. They showed up and did a quick inspection and told me I needed a $150.00 part plus 1 hour service to install. So I paid the money and when the part showed up I was told that now my compressor was bad and refrigerator was trash. So the 99 dollar inspection fee ended up costing me $350.00 as they never checked to see if voltage was being sent to the motor Tech said we could get the invoice from the office and maybe be able to return the part. Went down to the store and was told NO they would no give us a copy and they also don't give any kind of discount to people who payed for things they didn't need. We also noticed there prices are very high. Cheapest side by side with ice maker was close to 2k. I got a new one from home Depot for only $1099.00 read more

I contacted Atwoods Appliances on Monday March 17th, 2025 to have them come out and repair my washing machine. The service man Preston came out on Wednesday March 19th to "Diagnose" the problem. I already knew that the problem was a drain pump malfunction. so I ordered a new pump and it arrived while Preston was at my home on the 19th. Preston diagnosed the problem as the pump also. He called the office and the service manager said he didn't have time to fix it that day (a 45 min job per Preston) and that the service manager would call me later in the day to schedule the repair. The cost for the diagnoses was $109. He did not call the 19th so I called him the 20th and he didn't know who I was and said he would study the report from Preston and call me back. Today is the 6th of May and he NEVER CALLED. It would have been another $105 to install the pump. FYI my phone number on the receipt from Preston was wrong--however, Preston called me to set up the appointment so I gave my correct number when I called the office on the 17th and I gave my number again when I called the service manager on the 20th-having put my phone number wrong on my service order is not a valid excuse for not returning my call and setting up the appointment. I used the new part and completed the repair myself on the 21st. So, bottom line, coming to my house and charging $109. for a diagnosis is where they make their easy money--then they order a part (5-6 days per Preston) and probably charge a lot more than I paid Amazon, PLUS, another $105 to complete the work. It looks to me that the easy $109. and me providing the part allowed them to take the easy money and move on to another customer for a diagnosis-high priced part-then drag their feet to call them back for completing the repair (if Preston was not busy skimming off the easy money of a diagnosis for the next customer). Preston was a nice guy and did the diagnosis quickly-he is not the problem. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR RUDE BUSINESS PLAN!! read more

I just moved to Kingman, into my new house. I had the fridge, washer & dryer sitting in the garage, needed to be installed in the house. On a recommendation from a new neighbor, I was directed to go to Attwoods Appliances, even though I didn't buy the appliances from them. Here it was Saturday within 20 minutes of leaving the store AA was at my door to install the appliances. Chris was my installer he was phenomenal, the install took an hour, he was extremely thorough and courteous and walked me through how to operate everything. my second visit from Jeff, the very professional repair tech. My fridge had crapped out again. Due to my commute from San Diego,booking an appointment and meeting the tech can be difficult. Atwoods was great in schedulingfridge to both visits and sending out a top-notch schedule professional. In about 30 minutes, Jeff troubleshot the appliance, determined which board was defective, and replaced same. Gave me tips for operating the fridgeto to conserve power. Definitely a great provider. Sent service tech out to the house. He said "yeah these French door refrigerators are know for not making ice. In his opinion our model and the Samsung models are JUNK!!" After waiting for months for our new GE dishwasher that we paid a premium price for the dishwasher finally showed up and failed during the second use. Tech came, he was very polite, and found the control board failed. They ordered the part and didn't let me know it arrived. I called a month later after it's arrival and had the tech come to install it only to find out another part had failed. On a brand new unit? Don't buy GE. The service manager has a very bad attitude and said the new part might take months to get. I wanted a replacement for this new paperweight but he said I had to call GE myself. How is that the right thing to do? It's like another reviewer mentioned that they just don't seem to care. Going on 4 months without a brand new working dishwasher is unacceptable. read more

If I could do zero stars, I would. In my personal opinion, Do NOT get your appliances from Attwoods Appliances!! Do NOT pay cash or check, you won't have a leg to stand on. Down right deceitful company. Refrigerator (supposed to be brand new) delivered in October 2023, arrived with numerous dents, scratches, and uneven doors. Called the company, they refused to take back the refrigerator...turned into a fight with the company, where the sales manager hung up the phone on me. They wouldn't even consider a replacement. Flat out refused. They told us to call Electrolux (Frigidaire model) for warranty repair. It has been over 3 months and I still do NOT have the doors & handles replaced on the refrigerator under warranty. 2nd issue - same store Attwood's Appliances provides the stoves for a super large builder in Kingman. Attwood's Appliances dumps their scratched and dented appliances in brand new homes on unsuspecting customers that have to deal with the "under warranty" repairs after they close on their brand new home. It took nearly 4 months for various issues with the refrigerator and stove to be resolved. There is a pattern here! There should be a law against this! Our four year old refrigerator /freezer's compressor went out so we stopped by Attwood Appliance on Friday to see what they had. I spoke with Ryan when we got there and told him what I was looking for and the brands I did not want. He showed us different models and took the time to explain the features of each one. We chose the 4 door Frigidaire model. I also purchased the 3 year extended warranty. Ryan was great answering all questions and even gave us a 10% discount for mentioning Facebook. I asked him when it could be delivered and he said they could bring it out the next day (Saturday). As promised, Chris and Don were at our house the next day with the refrigerator. When they arrived, I was in the process of removing the front door so they could bring the refrigerator in the house. Chris said he and Don would finish removing the door and then reinstall it when they were finished so I didn't have to do anything. They were both very friendly and did a great job with the install and then took the time to show me how the different features worked. Took my mother there on Wednesday to look at wash machines and mom ended up buying one from violet the owner she was so great to work with. They would have delivered later that afternoon but mom was busy so she scheduled it for this morning and the delivery guy called first thing this morning and he showed up right away he took out the old machine and let mom clean under it before he installed the other machine. He did a wonderful job was friendly fast efficient and he went over some of the features on her machine and even gave her a trial packet of soap to use. BUYER BEWARE! SCAMMERS! We purchased a used washer about a month ago and brought it home and it did not work properly. We inconveniently brought it back (we live 1.5 hrs away) to receive a refund because we were told when purchasing there was a 90 day return period. When we arrived, they told us it was a 90 day period for them to fix the maintenance issue, but we would not be receiving a refund. We had to leave our washer there and they would call when the issue was fixed. They called back and told us there weren't any issues....very frustrating! obviously we drive an hour and a half to return this due to issues. The manager was the rudest person I have ever spoke to and this place has the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. zthry are selling garbage that doesn't work and won't refund their customers. TOTAL SCAM. Our washer has been there for 3 weeks due to us having a challenging time finding another way of transporting this washer back home and they have the nerve to tell us they are going to start charging us storage fees!! So insane! When we explained that we cannot pick it up and don't want their washer that doesn't work, they said the best they can do is charge us a "restocking fee" and we will get refunded a small portion of what we paid....wow how generous of them. My microwave malfunctioned in Feb, and I called my Home Warranty service for a repair company within their network. They sent a repair order to ATTWOOD's and when I called them, they could not get a tech to my home for about 2 1/2 weeks after my call. I went ahead and had them schedule a date for 3/3/21 and in the meantime got an authorization from ORHP to find my own vendor, which I could not. So ORHP sent them a NEW R/O and it was scheduled for 3/9/21. On 3/8, I called and obtained a time frame of 9AM-2PM. When no one showed up, I called and contacted "Nathan" who is allegedly the supervisor of the service dept. He told me that the R/O Had been cancelled (not the second one, they screwed up) but he would "reach out to the tech and call me right back. He NEVER CALLED..I called again this morning (3/10) and he was disinterested, rude and complacent. He told me the best he could do was another week out, and furthermore he had other customers to take care of. Needless to say, I contacted ORHP and they had another vendor, for which I am waiting a call back from as I write this. I should have looked at YELP reviews first and I would have made a more diligent search for a service provider then...I would not plan on doing business with this outfit in the future!@ read more

No way. They actually hung up on me. Lied to me said I had an appointment on the 18th. I asked if they had anything sooner initially and Nate replied no, but I can check with your home warranty company to see if they have something. We will keep this appointment on the 18th just in case he said!!. I called to verify the appointment last night and no appointment on file, called this morning and received instant attitude from Nate I believe his name was. He told my home warranty company that they don't service my area. I caught them in a lie! .. in fact they serviced my fridge in March at my house cost me $500 and its still the same problem. I did not have a home warranty in March. Do not use this company. They are clearly dishonest. Not just to me but to my home warranty company and yours possibly too. I called them for a dishwasher that was not draining. They came; did the service call and left. There was no explanation of the problem. I called and asked what I needed to do to get my dishwasher fixed. They told me what part to order. They couldn't order it but if I bought it they would come and fix it but they didn't want to order the part and schedule a day to install. I just wasted money. I would give zero stars if that were an option. I have paid Atwoods $165 so far and my washer still does exactly what it did when I called them out. The "technician" that came out diagnosed the problem as the "lid lock mechanism" gone bad, even though he couldn't wait long enough for the washer to cycle through to hear the noise it was making mid-cycle. It was $65 for him to come out and tell me that. Of course he didn't carry ANY parts with him, so it had to be ordered. While waiting for the part to arrive I spoke to the owner, Violet (after many attempts to talk to someone). When I asked her what happens if the part they ordered didn't fix the problem, she told me, "well we'll just have to try something else. It's just like when you take your car to the mechanic and they don't know what's wrong with it, they just keep putting on parts until they figure it out"!!! What the heck??!!! And of course they expect you to keep paying for each part (and the labor to put it on). CRAZY!! Finally the part arrived and an appt. was scheduled for the "technician" to come out and install the part, which would be another $100, $48 for the part and $52 for 20 minutes of labor. Needless to say, the "lid lock mechanism" was not the problem. My washer still makes the same noise. I called the store and asked to speak to Violet, but instead got her "assistant" who assured me she would have Violet call me right back. HA!! I've heard that so many times, and she never calls back! This morning I actually got through to Violet, who looked up my account, including all the records of what has transpired. She read to me all the notes from the technician, and on and on. When I told her I don't want them to come back, but would like to know what she intends to do now, since I've paid them $165 and nothing has changed with my washer, she said (as she always does) "I'll have to look into this and I'll call you back". Again, HA HA!!! SHE NEVER CALLS BACK!! So to summarize, I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. They do not know the meaning of customer service, and their owner, Violet, is nothing but a delusional liar! Save yourself a lot of time and headache and call someplace else if you need an appliance repaired. read more

Well after a horrible experience at Kingman appliance (you can read my review here on Yelp) several people recommended I go to Attwoods appliance, I sure wish I had gone there in the first place I would have saved money and a lot of anguish, the place is clean, they have a lot of appliances (new and used) to chose from and fair prices. I bought a used washer that was delivered on time for free, the warranty is 3 months, It looks and works like new. Kingman is a small town so there isn't a lot of choices for something like this, it's nice to know there is at least 1 reputable business here. 5 stars (and these people deserve it) for Attwoods !! read more
