I can find a video on Instagram or Pinterest and bring it to the staff and they will help me master it! The environment is positive and body image friendly. The owner really wanted it to be a safe space and this is what this is for me. My failures are not even addressed! Someone will come up to you and help you get into the position you were trying to do on your own so we can at least look at it and know what it feels to accomplish this move. I'm so proud of the owner and happy that she has creates this safe space in Greenville. They even offer other dance styles such as salsa, bachata, hip hop. EVERY DAY!! She has created hours that cater to those that work night shift and hours that cater to those that work early and need to be in bed by 7 like myself. I'm hooked now and try to attend as much as I physically can!

When you walk in, you are greeted by one of the friendly staff members (Madeline is so sweet!), and you'll notice the cleanliness of the facility, the first-rate equipment and the overall upbeat energy of the place. Everything you need for health and fitness is right here...classes, equipment/machines and personal trainers. CLASSES - I've really been enjoying the classes so much and the teachers are amazing. There is so much variety! I love taking Amie's BODYPUMP class, Brooke's TONE class, Diane's PILATES (Mat & Reformer) class and Tamara's YOGA class. There are lots of classes in addition to these that I haven't tried yet, so I recommend coming in to check out all they have to offer, as I'm sure you'll find classes that will be just the right fit for you. EQUIPMENT/MACHINES - There is a huge variety of equipment at Sound, along with many different weight machines to choose from. There are plenty of treadmills, ellipticals, cycling and stair machines...too many to list, actually. At Sound Fitness there is truly something for everyone and everything is always kept clean and well-maintained. PERSONAL TRAINERS - There are some wonderful personal trainers at Sound Fitness and I had the pleasure of working with Brooke (the owner) recently. She is amazing! She educated me on how certain exercises and just slight tweaks of form can make a huge difference in overall mobility and fitness. She is very knowledgeable and truly cares about her clients and gym members. My youngest daughter's teacher was not consistently there, life happens and I understand that however when the recital came, it was clear the kids didn't know the dance. I've also witnessed on several occasions the kids being spoken to in nasty, unfriendly tones by more than one instructor and or employee. At the recital multiple kids were yelled at in front of parents by Angela. This is unacceptable behavior coming from a business that is supposed to be there to support military families. This is supposed to be a fun environment for kids and it sadly missed that mark this year. I will be taking my kids to a different studio from now on. Hopefully things can get better in the future after some reflection.

She then goes to other parents lying about you and the reasons you left. Tells everyone she'll get her State Trooper husband to find you and take care of you... Her and her single employee will slander you every chance they get just because you simply decide to avoid the childish drama there and stop going. Stole money from us and refused to cancel costumes not delivered even though it's been over 6 weeks since we left and costumes still haven't arrived. Made us waste $300 on costumes we'll never use instead of being professional like other business owners and simply canceling the order. Take the time to drive to another studio that's more established and has real employees that care about the children and not just the money. She pays just over $700 for the recital venue and charges $50 per dancer so she collects about $4,000 profit just from one recital. Makes you sign a contract if your child is a company dancer, which is 100% fine until she changes items in the "contract" that costs all the parents even more money. When you question it you're told to "fucking leave if you don't like the changes. It's my fucking studio and I make the rules!" That's what you have to deal with. Do what's best for your child or children and drive to Studio A in Wilmington where there's a real dance studio and teacher that puts the children before herself!
