It seems they are trying to create a club that can compete with the high end exclusive celebrity clubs of L.A, London, New York and Las Vegas . The opening of the venue was packed with local and international celebrities, and I'm sure will be used for all kinds of special events and evenings that us simpletons will not be welcome at. It will be interesting to see if this type of club will retain its high standard when the hype dies down. The venue itself is beautiful, and is both sophisticated and luxurious. There is plenty of seating for thoe who want a more relaxing experience, and DJ's that spin the latest house music.

Don't expect menus or a dedicated server at this restaurant. The table had a QR code in which to place orders. If you have questions you can flag down a member of the staff, but you're pretty much on your own. We got a variety of dishes to share: The crudo Gunpowder cauliflower popcorn Smoked mussels Wagyu sliders The mussels were my favorite dish. It was a good portion and the lemongrass flavors were delicious. The gunpowder cauliflower was not spicy. It was nice and crispy, but the cauliflower remained soft inside. The crudo was great too, nice and delicate. We went back on another night and had all three desserts. My favorite was the chocolate raspberry cake. It's delicious. The table also loved the pistachio cheesecake.

Lots of clustered seating areas here so you don't have to share your space with other groups. Staff was nice and friendly but then again, it was a Sunday so not that busy. Prices are OK, given how astronomically priced cocktails are in Australia anyway. You can usually find a drink here to suit your budget -- although I do suspect the broke backpacker types who subsist on goon and cheap Tassie beer are not as welcome here as the folks who want to drop $18+ on a cocktail. However, they still had some more reasonably priced beers available, and the bar itself was quite nice. In fact it was one of those old 1920s style speak easies, with some rather interesting paintings on the wall (including the ever present Chloe). The other Italian inspired dishes we tried were all delicious, although my dad did ask the waiter for Tabasco sauce, to which I offered a 'I'm sorry' look at the waiter. This is not a slight on the food as much as an insight into my dad's predilection for all things chilli.
