I planned to have these tattoos done for a while, I just had cold feet on if I was going to go through with it or not. I'm glad I did and am very happy with the results! On my left wrist, I wanted my star sign, sagittarius. I was picky with how I wanted it stylized. Dale helped me pick a style and an air brush effect. It came out sick! It healed a bit scaly (don't use tattoo goo for healing, it sets your skin out)! Dale did an amazing job on touch up though, and the result months later are still very vivid and beautiful! On my right wrist, I got the Godsmack Sun. This is the most involved and beautiful ink I have to date. This one healed better then the other, but still needed a little touch up. (Again, complements of the tattoo goo). The touch up left the ink still vivid on my skin and preserved in color. Dale is the only tattoo artist I have ever let ink me. He is amazing, friendly and makes great conversation with his guests. He had an old school attitude with his art, so his energy isn't for everyone, only for cool people. read more

The girl that did the piercing is new, a sweet and very professional girl from Nashville. I'm very picky when it comes to cleanliness and customer service, we felt right at home. She was super hygienic with the process, explained everything and was so sweet and friendly. She made sure my daughter had a great experience and im very grateful for that. I got my first tattoo here about a month ago. The guys are professional, accommodating and have your best intention in mind. Bobby was the guy I went with and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I appreciate how he took my input and incorporated it into the final design, instead of trying to do his own thing, which can happen with some tattoo artists. He rushed during this tattoo and it only took him 15 minutes and charged $90 for this terrible piece of art. I could care less about price, just think the tattoo is terrible and it's on my body forever. Not sure how to rate this! I give my piercer, Summer, a 6 star if possible! I stopped here for an extra set of holes in my lobes. She was quite competent and friendly. I felt I didn't have to be diligent to make sure she followed sterile procedures. The last piercing I had was by a APA piercer who is also an RN. Summer was every bit as competent. Great job! The tattoo shops Im used to are in the west coast. Unfortunately, every shop I visited in Orlando (4) was not as polished as the west coast and judging by the portfolios the art quality not the same. Got my nose pierced and ended up with a keloid. I came back multiple times to have someone fix it before it became an issue. They always told me the person who did it would have to be there to fix it. After about two weeks of coming back and forth I decided to just have it taken out by the manager. My keloid has since disappeared but I won't come back here for piercings ever again! read more

After the ball fell out of the barbell in my tongue, I panicked. That had NEVER happened before, and I've had the same piercing for about 20 years. Much to my dismay, things have apparently changed in that shops that do piercings no longer offer additional jewelry, just whatever they need to do the initial piercing. After Siri sent me to THREE such places, I finally wised up and asked an actual person. Guess where they sent me? As soon as I walked in I was asked what I was looking for, and for the few minutes I had to wait I got to look around. Clean shop, a couple of people waiting, a guy getting his tattoo done, everything you want to see in a good shop. I came in as a walk-in to get a tattoo I had been thinking about for a while. Nothing. Just small one on the back of my left thigh. There was quite a wait since I didn't have an appointment but I didn't mind. There was only one other person waiting before me. Now my favorite part of this experience was getting to see a clients boyfriend argue with the tattoo artist. The artist had put the stencil on the girl (back of neck tattoo). It was perfectly centered on her neck. The boyfriend complained saying it was crooked and even insulted the tattoo artist. The level or professionalism I saw from this tattoo artist was amazing. I could tell she was a little frustrated but she kept it professional and respectful and kept adjusting the placement (4 times) based on what the boyfriend was saying. At the end of the day the girls boyfriend approved a crooked placement (cuz he knows sooooo much about tattoos). However the artist even asked for a second opinion from anther artist. They both told the clients that they agreed with the original placement but that wasn't what the boyfriend wanted. I was very impressed with how the tattoo artist handled the situation. As a said before, she was respectful and professional and never once insulted the clients opinion (even tho she had been insulted more than once). The wait was almost 2 hours but because of this interaction I decided to stay. My tattoo has been healing perfectly with no rejected ink. I've been following the care instruction that my artist gave and everything is going fine. The staff is friendly and the place is very clean. Thanks for everything! Definitely go see Sammy if you want quality work done. I live in Miami and would return to Orlando to continue getting work done. read more

Called to see if they sold aftercare for my piercing because I didn't have any on me (not from the area), told me yes & gave me no issues via phone. Came in shortly after and was greeted by I'm guessing the piercer who asked me unrelated questions, rudely, and spent 5 minutes trying to convince me to go get different aftercare at the drugstore because he didn't like h2ocean and "wasn't worth it." I had to finally tell this man I worked in a shop that was sponsored by h2ocean to finally get him to stop fighting me to sell me the damn aftercare so I could leave. I had a horrible experience (from another piercer) with my medusa piercing getting stuck INSIDE my lip. Like the ball was inside my lip. Atomic was the only place still open when it happened. We were 18 minutes away and they closed in 20 minutes. I was panicking. My husband called and spoke with Josh (Fish) who offered to wait for me and help me out. He was the most professional, kindest, most knowledgeable piercer I've ever dealt with. We ended up having to push it back through and though it was super painful he had very delicate hands. I got tattoo a couple months ago & waited over three hours for them to fix the stencil machine so me & my sister could get our tattoos, we were told we could come back in for a free touch up, I went to get mine a few days ago and was cut off in the middle of me speaking to be told I could not get it touched up for free because it was my fault, I took care of it just like I have to many of my other tattoos, I was never ever told i wouldn't be able to get it done if it was my fault or not. Which I would have been fine with if the artist wasn't so rude and hadn't given me misleading information when I got my tattoo. My daughter went in there to get her belly piercing and the piercer w the purple hair was extremely rude and unprofessional telling my 127 lb daughter that she basically was too fat to get a piercing and that her body isn't made for a belly piercing. What??? Prior to that statement when she first came in she asked for advice for what might look cute and he yelled at her saying "do you think I'm attracted to you? I'm not! I'm not your boyfriend." Um she was asking for advice not a date. She ended up going somewhere else that not only did it for cheaper but was professional and did a beautiful job and when she told them of her experience at Atomic the employees and all the customers in the shop joined in to give their horror stories of their own experiences or things they heard. To the owner of this shop- I have read these comments on here. The tattoo artists seem to do decent work while your piercers are no good, not in their job, their knowledge, their attitude or their advice. You have employees who are too busy on their phones and video games to help your customers. Do you know how much business you are losing? And you have so many horrible reviews. That hurts YOU. You should be embarrassed for the reputation of your business. Sounds like you need to make alot of changes, starting with your ignorant piercer w the purple hair. I made a yelp account just to write this review- that's how amazing the service I received was. Today was Friday the 13th and they were hosting a sale for flash tattoos and piercings. I had Mat as my tattoo artist and I just have to say, he's one of the best artists I've worked with, and I have plenty of tattoos. He was kind, funny, and very attentive to me and what I wanted/needed. Also, his art style is beautiful, and from his Instagram page and the artwork above his station I can say he would be able to cater to almost anyone's style and preference. Instead of a Friday the 13th tattoo I got one of his originals to cover some old scars, and it is definitely one of my most meaningful tattoos now. The color and linework is beautiful, and I'm already planning to go to him for my leg sleeve. I'm so happy I had the pleasure of getting him! I also ended up getting my double nostrils pierced by Josh, and there's just one thing I have to say; I don't ever want anyone to pierce me if they're not him. He was hilarious, super kind, very knowledgeable, and I genuinely didn't realize when he was done piercing me because he was so gentle and quick. Hands down the best piercer I've ever had. Walked in on a whim with my friend to get septum piercings...piercer was extremely arrogant and patronizing. Wouldn't let us get the jewlery we wanted, even visited multiple shops after that said the one he gave me was a little large. On top of all of that, he mis-pierced my friends septum the first time and had to create a second hole resulting in a whole lot of blood and a tough/long healing process for them. Definitely will not be going back there after that experience, only giving 3 stars because my piercing turned out fine, despite the larger jewelry. read more

Two weeks ago I had a belly ring put in I had bought it from them so they put it on no charge. Two weeks go by I stand up at work and the charm fell to the ground. I called and a young lady said they would try to fix it. So I work in that area this weekend but live a hour away went in a without a blink of a eye the young lady who did insert the belly ring says no they do not fix them? Who ever said they did was mistaken? So there's no way you fix the jewelry? Asked for the owner which the piercer chick would not even given her name I find very unprofessional. Came here for a nose piercing and immediately was greeted with a man trying to talk me out of getting a piercing. He went over the fact that I will be getting a keloid because that is normal and that if I'm planning on going in any body of water in the next two months then I shouldn't get the piercing. I understand he has to go through protocols and expectations after getting pierced but it felt like he was coming into it completely wrong and honestly made me uncomfortable and made me want to leave within two seconds of being there even though I had my mind set on a piercing. I also have another nose piercing so I clearly know what I'm getting myself into. There was about 3 others getting pierced it seemed which they were in a group together. After signing all of my paperwork on their iPad I sat down and waited for an hour in a half with no sight of the guy since he was in the back doing the other groups piercings I guess. I grew impatient and annoyed though because no one communicated with me about the long wait like I get it 30 minutes but it really does not take that long to get any piercing. I left and went to another place who got me in and out in less than 10 minutes. Won't be coming back here. Made me very uncomfortable. read more

Got my tragus pierced there and everything was fine until I woke up a couple days later and my ear had swallowed the earring. The piercer didn't put a long enough bar in to account for swelling. When I went back to see if they could help me, there was no piercer there and they told me to come back in a few days... A FEW DAYS. Meanwhile, my ear was a mess. I waited 3+ weeks to write this review because I wanted to see how the art would look after healing and scabbing was complete. Everyone I show my work to is amazed at the quality and detail! I am nearly 50 years old, served about 9 years in the Navy, and never had a tattoo. What possessed my wife and I to venture out at 10pm on Memorial day I will never know....it was not alcohol. We had always wanted to get one and decided on a whim to go. When we walked in there were a few younger ladies around who were getting piercings so we were told it would be about 15 minutes or so. My wife showed a picture to the woman of what she wanted and I said I wanted a Navy tattoo but wasn't settled on a picture. What they drew for both of us on paper was nothing short of amazing so we decided to go for it. Super clean place, very professional artists!
