(She had gotten an estimate from someone her insurance company recommended, but it would it have taken another week, and they anticipated damaging my driveway with a crane !) I knew I should call Don Bovaird and his crew ! Not only did Don come out that same day, but he and his crew removed the tree the following day !! There is something to be said for realizing how to prioritize this kind of work. (Just like a hospital that has STAT, ASAP, and routine jobs). Don understands that jobs are either emergencies (storm damage), as soon as possible (half dead trees still standing), and routine jobs ( people just want trees removed). At least that has been my experience. The whole crew was friendly, professional, efficient, AND my driveway was not damaged in the process as they didn't need a crane ! They all worked hard and completed the job within 4 or 5 hours. They're the BEST !

The stump removal machine broke down when they were removing the stump. This was on a Thursday. Owner said they would be back Monday or Tuesday of the next week to finish the stump. No show. Had to call on Thursday (1 week after tree removal) to see when he was going to finish stump. He acted like it had already been done. So he said he would do the rest of the stump the next day. Showed up early the next day (Friday) and finished stump. He and another person came. The other person just stood around. They brought no blower for clean up Finished stump but got chips all over the street which I ended up cleaning up, again, and also neighbors driveway. I would not call this company again for any future tree removal.

I hired these guys a few months ago to clear a good amount of trees from one of my rental…read moreproperties. It wasn't cheap, and they actually returned to give me a second quote (that was higher in cost) because my previous quote was 'too old' or something to that nature. The three main issues I have with the work they did are the following: 1. Most importantly, they did not cut to my satisfaction. The point of hiring them was to cut trees away from my rental property, especially the roof-area, as I'm putting a new metal roof on the property. I've uploaded a photo that shows there's still a tree hanging over the roof area. I don't want any limbs to fall onto my new $30,000 metal roof. I told one of the workers to cut the specific limb off and he claimed the limb was too high up and they only cut low-hanging limbs that are just above the roof. When I took my issue up with Lisa, she claimed Jake stated it would potentially harm the tree. Well, I value my $30,000 roof more than a tree limb. The entire point of hiring these people to cut the tree was to minimize the odds of having a large limb damage the new roof. But they didn't come back and make it right and prior to roof instillation I'll have to pay another tree company to cut the limb. 2. They're supposed to clean up after the work is finished. As you can see by my third photo, they left a whole lot of debris behind which I had to clean up. Not really right considering I paid them almost $3000. 3. They were supposed to cut the trees down as low as possible. They didn't do a very good job of this. I'll add a photo to display how the stumps looked. I gave them two stars instead of one star because they did cut most trees properly, though as mentioned, the stumps should have been cut lower. Would I hire them again? Doubtful. I prefer to work with people who do the job properly and take pride in correct work from start to finish.

This company did some work for a neighbor. As they were arriving they knocked down our…read moreinternet/cable line. They made it clear they had zero intention of communicating with us much less fixing it. When we called them out they reluctantly agreed to fix it. By "fix it", they taped the down wire to the penelec line, with electrical tape. The tape melted. The cable/internet service was impacted. Spectrum came out and had to run new lines. Now neither utility company knows whose responsibility the compromised line is, because the tape fused parts of them together. Now, in addition, a portion of the melty-taped line is down and in the driveway. Add to this, half a dozen voicemails were left with the company who couldn't even have an ounce of professional decency to return a call. Pretty terrible, would never hire them!

We had 2 trees quoted and…read morethey left big holes in our neighbors yard and then left our brick walkway with smashed bricks into the ground. also they broke our conduit along our fence which still needs repaired. $150 for that. then they hit the garage twice breaking two areas of vinyl siding. They said they were experts and they could do the job. I had to order more siding myself and fix it. Then they couldn't even take down the base (20ft tall). will never suggest to anyone. They denied that the large limb was on my property. Claimed my landscaper caused the ruts , moved a stake that identified and line and refused to do anything. Basically called me a liar and was totally obnoxious. My other neighbor saw the whole episode and heard the loud thud when the limb came down. If you choose to use him, plan to be present the whole time.
