They have some fantastic things that aren't just books as well as the usual book store stuff. Like heaps of little packs on everything from making sushi to pilates to learning to play harmonica. They also had some great packs for kids learning to read with a book and cd of popular characters like Toy Story. I found a great Transformers boxed set for under $30 that looked amazingly special. I also found some of the coolest games here. Like one where the right answer is the wrong answer. And one with kids vs adults. And a special Top Gear item for my partner. There was seriously something here for everyone and anyone. Definitely not just your usual book shop anymore.

Walking into Littlest Vintage feels like walking into an American 60's home with owls, deers,…read moreleather and old wooden cabinets scattered throughout the shop. Floor to ceiling is covered in everything from new made to look old and genuine vintage articles. Most importantly these guys completely under price everything in store. I am amazed at the quality of furniture and homewares here and the bargains that can be found. It has also some of the best range of unique female items of clothing from skirts to dresses and shirts, nothing would be over $40. Every week or so the shop front window changes and the inside of the store is constantly changing too based on the product available. Sometimes I wish some of the items in store were for sale like this awesome fluoro pink coin operated children's elephant ride they have in store, but beggars can't be choosers! These guys don't mind a bit of negotiating on price too.

A new addition to the Prospect area, Littlest Vintage is a browse-able haven of retro delights…read more I recently discovered the shop on a wander down Prospect Road, and was immediately attracted to the visual display of retro sideboards, 70's sofas and 60's oil paintings. I'm a sucker for genuine vintage and this place had it in LOADS. When I stepped inside I wasn't disappointed: despite the name the space is pretty spacious, and full of fashion finds, home wares and artworks of the 1960's - 80's era. It has a welcoming, market stall kind of feel to it - you feel as if you could rummage and uncover a genuine gem in here. All of which invites long, lazy browsing. I uncovered a pair of patent leather docs which I would've SNATCHED up for $65 (alas they were one size too small, curse you feet!). I was also especially delighted by the analogue amazingness on display: old SLR and instant cameras, working typewriters. I'm a sucker for 'em. The store was established by the good folks over at Renew Adelaide, who find spaces for creative, community minded businesses around Adelaide, and once again I say bravo *fist bump*. I was happy to pay for the start up card which happened to also be available from "Pop Phones Seaford". They gave me the card free of charge, the guy was polite and really helpful. I'm really torn with rating this Seaford Shopping Centre, so much of the centre definitely…read morequalifies at 'Meh' but there are also some really great local stores that are quite fantastic. So 3 Stars seems a nice medium. The Seaford Shopping Centre underwent a huge change a few years back, and one of the best things about the upgrade was the introduction of Big W. The amount of times this store has saved my life (a possible over-exaggeration)! When you need cables, or batteries, or a book, or a DVD, or really anything. Before the change the centre was good for groceries and a magazine or two. The upgrade also bought a whole load of new stores, but most barely rate a second look. Fly is great for buying teens surf clothes, but most other stores are peddling 'country fashions' that I'm sure my nan would buy. The highlights can pretty much all be found in the old section of the centre. These include Seaford Gourmet Butchers, TC's Fruit & Veg, Barossa Fine Foods, Seafood Chest, and the Newsagencies. Some of these have been around for years, while others are new additions. But if you skip Woolies and buy from the smaller guys you can get some great produce. I don't really look forward to coming here, but I can't deny that while most of the centre is fairly pointless, there are some great stores.

I realise pretty much everyone knows Cheap As Chips and has visited one at some stage or another…read morethroughout their lives. Cheap bargain store for homewares, clothing, furniture, pet items, appliances, toys, food, craft supplies, books, the list goes on...... But this one has to be the BIGGEST one I have ever seen. It is like the size of Big W. It has everything and plenty of room to get a trolley through all the isles. Sometimes it can get a little congested at the checkout area inside but that's it. They have a lot bigger range than the other stores I have been into. Noarlunga store is big and long but this is big in every way. It seems much easier to get around and to be able to see everything at this particular store. I have never made any real requests of the staff here but their service has always been friendly and courteous. I love coming to this store before Christmas to get a heap of stocking fillers. Just make sure you grab a trolley on the way in!

I can only rate on the drinks we had, as we did not eat but I had a sugar- free iced coffee which was AMAZING and my husband had a smoothie which he loved. The place has all sorts of arty, crafty nick knacks for sale and the menus are glued inside old record covers. There is a quaint outdoor area filled with old teapots hanging from miniature trees. And the people who own the place were so nice to chat with. Middleton is lucky to have this place pop up

I love this art space! There's definitely a sea/water theme…read morehappening here, understandable given it's located in Goolwa where the River Murray meets the Southern Ocean. They have a great selection of beautiful art works, ranging from varying sized sculpture, to oil paintings, photography, silver ware and jewellery - to list but a few. I especially like the range in prices. You can easily find a small gift for a friend or lavishly adorn your own walls. Different art pieces change relatively often thus I make sure I check it out every holiday to Goolwa & am always exclaiming over a new piece or three! Friendly service tops off this fantastic experience.

This one isn't a good op shop though - it's a downright brilliant op shop…read more I was told once that the Salvo's stores all draw on a pool of product distributed across the network, but I'm guessing the big advantage the Victor Harbor store has, over others in the metro area, is slightly less clientelle. I can honestly say there hasn't been a visit I've made there where I haven't found a bargain, either a book worth nabbing, clothing (I found a faux leather jacket I'd been eyeing off at Myer for $90 about a month before hand, brand new, for less than $10 once) or some fascinating ornament or kitchen gadget - this place is one of those veritable treasure trove. The girls love fossicking through the childrens section, and both they and my wife have picked up pre-loved jewelery perfect for their styles. This is a must visit for us when we're at Victor - thoroughly recommended.

So Spotlight now have a nice new store at Noarlunga instead of the older one they used to have…read morebasically across the road from this one. It still has all the great same stock but it's just a nicer store to be in and easier to get around and still be able to see your way out. I have bought some great block out curtain material here, just cut to size and hang, no need to sew hems or anything. That's my kind of curtain! I also managed to get some great replacement eyes for one of my child's soft toys. They have some great art and craft type things, and some things you would probably never even know existed. It's also one of the few places you can still easily get the old paint by numbers kits I loved as a kid. You can also get some great easy latch hook kits, which I also loved as a kid. Maybe this is why I like the store, reminiscing on my childhood!
