Conrad mastered my band's home recorded and mixed EP. He was very affordable ($100 for two songs)…read moreand did it in a very timely manner. He managed to add a solid low end to my mixes, all while removing mud and brightening up the tracks. He mastered them for streaming services, and although he got them very loud in level, he managed to not brick wall them, which was nice. I've also seen Ben work a few times with recording sessions. He has a great ear and can offer great artistic input, as well. He even asked if we wanted him to shut-up and just record and mix, which is a good trait if you bring in your own project producer who's calling the shots. I would definitely recommend and I am planning on having Conrad Master the second EP, whenever it gets finished! These guys do rock and metal the right way! Will and Nico- has been amazing to work with them…read more Lets start at the beginning. In January 2019 is when I first visited and recorded at the Sweet Spot Studio. The first thing of note to me was the owner, Nico greeted me before my session with the sound engineer to see what my goals were and gave me a quick run-down on the talents of the sound engineer as well as the various services Sweet Spot offered. My session with the sound engineer (Leif) went very well and afterwards Nico was there again...following up with me to ensure I had a great studio experience and making himself readily available if I had any questions or needed assistance. Just a first class guy! From the initial experience with the sound engineer and Nico I decided I wanted to do my entire project at Sweet Spot Studio. Unfortunately the sound engineer I was working with was not available for further sessions-due to life circumstances.... Enter Nico to save the day! He understood how important my project was to me and assured me he would find me the right sound engineer/producer to compliment my project. Naturally I was skeptical at first, but went along with it. A couple days later Nico came back and introduced me to a another sound engineer on his team by the name of Will Park. He explained to me Will's music background and why he would be great for what I wanted to accomplish. Since that introduction to present I have had countless sessions at Sweet Spot Studio...If I had to use only one word to describe working with Will, I say it has been 'Epic'. Will has a very warm personality, is a consummate professional, great communicator, educator, whose music IQ and creativity cannot be overstated. I swear working with Will at times, it almost felt as if we were doing a group album. I say this because he was genuinely just as passionate and meticulous about my project as me! Every recording and mixing session there was great two way communication. I deeply valued his willingness to provide me with constructive feedback and advice in real time about things I should consider to enhance my music and give me the sound I was looking for. Recently in March, I moved to Long Beach, CA. However, I continued forward with my project. Will and I communicated on almost daily basis and he was able to make the needed revisions. However, I felt like my project was incomplete so in April I decided to fly back to the east coast to do a few more songs w/ Will and Nico because: 1) Sweet Spot Studio is synonymous with quality and attention to detail and they pride themselves on their work. 2) Doing music at Sweet Spot feels like Im just vibing with friends.
