In a similar tale of oddities, both of my index fingers are curved like a skating ramp. I always dismissed this as my "normal", thinking my curved fingers were because I played violin since 3 years old. Maybe I was a like a geisha with her bound feet? Turns out Dr. Michele Munnich had another idea: possible signs of rheumatoid arthritis. This is more likely, as my mom has this condition. But I'm 25? Doesn't matter to an inflamed body. Felt they were efficient, knew what I needed and gave me a good start on my road to recovery. Fortunately I had great insurance at the time and my visits were covered. Fast forward to now (Feb. 2016) and I needed some more PT per my ortho surgeon to help strengthen my right hip to help with some pain management. There is now a new registered PT there, very nice and knowledgeable, but I'm having a problem with my insurance. My insurance company tells me one thing about my coverage and the office is getting a different answer from Florida Blue, which ends up having me pay an $85.00 copay for each visit which I could afford but do not feel is necessarily correct per my Florida Blue contact. Don't see any resolution here so may have to change to another PT, but they are so busy I don't think they really care one way or another...

I then went to a massage therapist and, concurrently,a chiropractor, which gave me some relief but not much. My wife suggested that I see an Acupuncturist so I looked for one nearby. Fortunately I selected this one and she was able to give me immediate relief while providing a detailed explanation of the procedure.It took three trips to loosen the shoulders and reduce the pain.
