This review is overdue, but it needs to be done…read more Long story short, a few years ago when masks were mandatory, I knew very little about skincare and how to treat my skin. Understanding my skin is oily, but not understanding what that means and what products I needed, I began to get cystic acne. This left HORRIBLE scarring. I did multiple rounds of microneedling (3) and multiple rounds of Opus (2) , with only some progress with my skin - and they were painful procedures + horrible downtime. Fast forward to the beginning of Summer 2025. I had the pleasure of meeting Rachel at the beginning of the summer. I expressed my concerns, and listened to her recommendations; Three rounds of super injector microneedling. I was pleasantly surprised when Rachel told me what to expect and what the down time looks like. I started my first session in June, then again in July and lastly in August. I moved overseas in September, so time was of the essence! Downtime was almost none. Pain? None. I didn't even use numbing cream, that's the best part! During the appointment, Rachel used products to prep my skin both BEFORE and AFTER the microneedling. The first session I actually fell asleep, and i'm so grateful that Rachel didn't mind my snoring!! So knowledgeable, professional, kind, and truly passionate about her work. It is very beautiful and inviting inside. The wall is marble (or look alike) and there is a small sitting area to the right as you walk in and the wall is attractively showcasing their skin care line. The hallway is pretty long and each room was equipped with all their tools and products. Makayla was very nice. She was also very knowledgable with everything scalp and skin. She did my entire face and scalp facial. At the very beginning, she loosened up my scalp with a scrape brush and used the microscopic light to magnify my scalp. OMG I can't believe how much care my scalp needed. I had a very relaxing facial. She massaged my décolletage, washed my scalp and hair. I was also given a warm eye mask scented with lavender. She also had a foot/leg warmer and massager. This was amazing!! Everything was wonderful. I could see the huge difference it made when she used the microscopic laser again! She came back with green tea and cookies. All this is $350. On the services menu it shows this package is 2.5 hours. I was a bit sad when she told me she was finished and it had only been 2.25 hours. I absolutely am thrilled and happy with this experience. I welcome any and all gift certificates for Esme. Would I continue to pay for these experiences? I've been doing Botox for years and having recently moved to Virginia, this was my first treatment…read morein a new state. I met with Denise for my consult, not the doctor in December 2016. There were no mini ice packs before, during or after my injections. (These are great to reduce redness, swelling and bruising plus they help numb the injection site.) Last, Denise didn't draw up the Botox in front of me, which made me feel very uncomfortable as I like to physically see that I'm getting exactly what I'm paying for. I always stay around 25 units but Denise did over 45, the most I've ever had. My results were not good. Too much Botox caused my eyebrows to push down and one eye to droop. At the same time my droopy eye also had a new deep crease wrinkle above it. My crows feet didn't look like I had any injections at all. Clearly I had too much in areas and not enough in other areas. Denise stated that I had to allow 14 days for the full effect and return at 3 weeks for a follow-up. I thought this was odd and honestly brushed off the 14 day statement at first as my Botox always kicks in by day 3 and I have full results at one week, not two. However, she was correct. This was so odd to me that the process took so long for the Botox to take effect. I can only assume their hydration of the Botox is very high (meaning the product is very diluted). I went back for a followup at 3 weeks and I explained how unhappy I was. Denise made excuses for why I had such poor results and tried to sell me more Botox. I agreed I needed more around the eyes as oddly this didn't take at all, but certainly not my forehead which caused my eye to droop. Regardless, I didn't feel comfortable buying more product from her considering my results. Since I've been getting Botox for so many years, I can go about 5 months between sessions. However, this round was unusual and oddly wore off faster than my other treatments. I had to get another round of Botox less than 3 months later, from a different practice. Obviously, I won't be a returning client at this practice. With this being said, I wouldn't tell someone not to seek Botox at this establishment. You may go and have great results or you may have poor results. Still, if you go, take your own ice pack, (her injections are hard and deep) and ask her to draw up the Botox in front of you. I recommend going with small doses and later adding more if needed. Don't fall for the pressure that you "NEED" more if it's out of your normal range or if your first time getting Botox. You can always get more Botox but you can't remove it. If you get bad results, take it as an expensive lesson learned and move on to a new DOCTOR. If you get decent results, watch how quickly it wears off. If it seems fast, then try a different practice for comparison. Botox has to be diluted at the physicians office and all offices/spas do this differently. Heavily diluted Botox makes the practice a ton of money as they get more product this way. Good for them, not so good for you. You may have to get more units of Botox to achieve the look you want and it will wear off faster, forcing you to return for more. (This is very true for those Botox Groupon offers! Avoid these!!) You can always ask what their concentration level is for their Botox, however, you will have to take their word as honest. The product will just have to speak for itself.
