I had an eye filler procedure done with Dr. Kaado back in Oct 15, 2021. Dr. Kaado informed me at the time it would take a week for me to heal. Well, now that I'm "All healed up" and I can see a tyndall effect has happened under my eyes [tear troughs filler]. This clearly botched eye filler job is still visible on me today roughly couple years later with no change! Feeling disappointed with the results I discussed this concern with Dr. Georges Kaado quiet a few times but he continued to insist that all I have to do is massage the area and it will go away by using a Q-tips which is laughable to me now! Yet, believing him at first I even went to my country in the Philippines twice to a clinic to get eyebug removal [same procedure massaging the area by using special instruments/machine ] and it sort of kinda disappearerd temporarily but the original filler tyndall effect I was experiencing before did eventually return! So NO, I don't believe that Dr. Kaado's advice on massaging it, it will make it go away. I want to dissolve it but I'm afraid that it might look worst! I guess I'll just have to wait until nature takes its course. If I do decide to get this filler dissolved it will NOT be with Dr. Kaado. I'm NOT PLEASED with his work! I first found Dr. Kaado via Instagram, where he showcases beautiful videos and photos of his work which enticed me to make an appointment with him and get it done. Went in to get lip fillers was promised that the results would look "natural", that statement was far from the truth, 3 months later and my lips are still swollen the top lip is twice the size of the bottom one and uneven in both sides. Not only that but after the doctor saw that he messed up and my lips needed corrections he attempted to charge me again for fixing the problem that he was responsible for. I went in to see this doctor for under eye fillers based off of an advertisement on Self. When I went in to see him he told me that I would need a total of 3 syringes to fill my troughs. Then he told me that we could start with 1 for each eye and come back for the 2nd treatment. Something about him didn't sit well with me so I told him that I would think about it. He then showed me all of these overpriced skin care products that he wanted to sell to me which I declined. I was told the filler would last about 18 months. If I'm going to pay almost $2500 for something that isn't permanent, then I may as well get the trough implant for $5k and be done with it. I did further research and found all of these negative reviews about him and that he doesn't really specialize in the eye area. I am so glad that I didn't decide to go through with it. The place looks elegant and the staff is nice. Thats about it. I paid a good amount to have some tiny/flat moles removed but a couple of the spots grew back some pigment. I wanted to get them touched up but was quoted the price of almost a whole new service + expected to pay pre treatment again. I just can't justify their pricing overall. I came here to get Botox,and the lady wanted to sell me a skin care package that costs over 400.00 told me to use that before the Botox so that my skin wouldn't be damaged. I don't know if they thought I didn't know any better but I went to a reputable place in Norfolk, they did the Botox, I didn't have to use any additional products before hand or anything and my face looks great. Kaado was just trying to sell his products and get more money from me. I may have been born in the morning, but trust it was not 'that morning.' My results were poor. I wish I checked business reviews before having filler done by Dr. Kaado. Apparently his "doctor" title is for primary care, not cosmetic surgery. Also, when I asked another provider to dissolve my poor filler, they asked me who did them. When I told them Dr. Kaado, the receptionist told me they have had to correct his poor work on other clients as well. I just hope this review reaches someone before they make the mistake of choosing this provider for cosmetic services. I couldn't have a clear conscience if I didn't update my review on Dr. Kaado. The only reason I'm giving an extra star is because his bedside manner is impeccable. He is a very kind man, and I appreciated that. But, he did NOT do me any aesthetic favors. I spent thousands of dollars in his office for several procedures only to look worse, when all I wanted was to look and feel better. I had the eye troph (among other injections) injection and all I heard from friends and family was, "what's wrong? Are you okay? Are you sleeping at all?" I was already feeling down. I served in the military and chose an honorable discharge after 4 years when I found out my mother had cancer while I was serving. I was 27 years old and stationed in California while she resided in North Carolina. Thankfully I had about a month with her post military. Losing my mom coupled with a detrimental interpersonal relationship was the catalyst for the decision to seek a boost in my self esteem/aesthetic value. To my horror, it only made things worse. Then I lost my dad. I had to see people who hadn't seen me in several years, and found out from a friend that someone said I looked like a hot mess (verbatim). I decided to ask why they said that and it was due in part to my puffy eyes. To be transparent and truly fair, prior to the injection, I had some darkness underneath my eyes-but no puffiness. Also, I do suffer from insomnia. Plus, I'm a smoker which doesn't bode well with attempts to look better. I know Dr. Kaado was trying to help, but getting down to brass tax is the fact he made me look worse and considering how much I paid and the reason I was there to begin with, it hurt me. Money will come and go, but self worth and esteem can be fragile, and I was in that position. Everyone takes a chance when they seek beauty in this type of way, so it's my fault. I just wanted everyone to know so they are aware before making a financial and emotional decision. I hope if anyone has lost their parents (or someone they're close to) so young, please be careful about what you do to remedy the pain or try to fill that void. I will let my photos do the talking! He didn't perform the procedure I paid for and then acted as if he was God stating he does not make mistakes. He yelled and tried to convince me that this was an improvement, really! But then stating that he could correct it for another fee, if he didn't overfill it why would he correct it! He stormed out of the room mumbling something and his assistance says he's just upset because he wouldn't have intentionally overfilled it, as I said it may not have been intentionally but it was done! He said he put to much in my right eye, which wasn't visible until the next morning day and got worse from there. Also my friend who initiated the visit got hers done which was worse than mine and he only used one syringe and I got mine done after her. Well I followed up with him immediately and he said massage it and called me in a prescription for prednisone he said that would help with the swelling. Well it continued to get worse so Thanksgiving and my 48th Birthday was a disaster, everyone kept asking what happened to your eye it looked as if I had been punched in my eye swollen and black even makeup didn't help. Called the office, went in thinking he would be the nice doctor well I got Mr. Hyde Queen Hyde, saying he didn't over fill it and he doesn't make mistakes and after that who would let him touch their face and he had the nerve to want to charge me again! Then here comes JP, well what can I do to make this better I said refund me my money or at least enough to have another doctor dissolve the filler. JP well we normally don't do refunds but in this case we should be able to, but our office manager won't be in until Monday, which I agreed to wait. Which now I see it was he was just telling me this to get me out of the office, because I came to realize he's the dam office manager! Liars!!! I had the same experience recently and I'm 2 1/2 months out my eye is still swollen with a big bag under it thanks to Kaddo over filling it. He thinks he's God, stating he does not make mistakes! oo bad after spending $8k for laser treatments which was recommended by Dr Kaado and he promised, the laser treatments, which he said was the top of the line treatment that it would take care of the to take care of my orange peel looking chin and lip lines. My chin and lines are not gone as ge promised. After a couple of treatments and chemical peels I expressed my disappointments at a couple of visits and was made to feel that my disappointments were not justifiable and they even had their staff come in the room with me to back up how wonderful my skin looked etc, which made me feel even more like my opinion or feelings were not justifiable. My last couple of visits after spending $8k, I was told I needed to buy better skim care products, which made me feel if I didn't they would blame my lack of results on not spending money on high end skincare products, so of course that put pressure on me abs O didn't want them blaming my lack of results on not using high end products so, approx $180 later using a coupon I had, I walked out the door even more upset. Then prior to my daughters wedding Sept 2021, when I was in their office and said again how upset I was that I still was not seeing what Dr Kaado promised, I was told I could get Botox another approx $1200 but he would throw in 1 unit free because I would need 2 units. After my daughters wedding and a couple of scheduled surgeries I had to have done due to an injury, I sent and email expressing again my disappointments and not get the results promised. and the promises that I would get the results. JP responded basically telling me my feelings or disappointments with the results I got basically, were unjustified and how great my skin looked and sent pictures. I also sent pictures showing him what my chin/mouth looked like which looked nothing like the pictures he showed me. My pictures were close up, no makeup and my chin/mouth looks no different than the day I first walked in their office. I did not go there for treatments to make the skin on my whole fade look better I went there asking for a treatment to get rid of the orange peel chin and lines around my mouth, which I did not get with the treatment Dr Kaado recommended. He went on to tell me how much of a discount I was given and that the 2 laser treatments and 2 chemical peels cost $26K Im not sure how much each of these treatments cost at their facility but, after doing research and speaking to an actual plastic surgeons office these treatments would not cost $26K at their office and I could get a full facelift for that price and could have gotten a lower face lift for the $8k I paid at Dr Kaados facility. I was told by Dr Kaado, JP was NOT in the room at any visit listening in on the conversation. I even sent pics with my email but that he promised he would give me the results I was looking for no matter how many treatments because he wanted me to be happy.and if he denies this, than he's not being truthful. It would be different if I went there asking for a specific treatment and did not get the results I was hoping for but, that's not the case. I went with his recommendation and have been left to feel like it didn't matter that he failed because I got a discount?? 1st time I ever did something for me to feel better about myself and not only do I not feel that way, every month I make the payment on that 8k bill it literally makes me sick that I trusted him and makes me wish I had not spent money on myself. Dr. Kaado's Clinic is simply remarkable. But before I explain why it is remarkable, it's important to note that most reviews, whether on Google, Yelp, Trip Adviser, etc. have two common characteristics: first, there are those reviewers who have had an unhappy or unsatisfactory experience and seek to do damage to the reputation of the person/organization/business with whom they have had the interaction. And second, there are those reviewers who give five stars to absolutely everything they have experienced. My usual approach is to review all of the reviews for a potential person/organization/business with whom or which I wish to do business, and throw out a one star and a five star review in order to eliminate personal animus or a lack of critical thinking. Having said that, let me explain why I believe Dr. Kaado's Aesthetics and Anti-Aging Medicine Clinic is worthy of five stars. To do so, it's important that any reader of this review know that in my career I worked with hundreds of physicians and scientists in academic medical centers in Colorado and Florida. I have also served on review panels for the National Cancer Institute and the National Institutes of Health, and have had a significant amount of personal and professional contact with practitioners in medicine in a wide variety of fields of endeavor. In addition, despite my experience, I too am a patient, and have made my own observations of the quality and competence of the care I have received as an individual, like any other patient would. So let me explain then why Dr. Kaado is extraordinary and why his approach to aesthetics and anti-aging medicine is so exceptional, and I am writing this as a patient of Dr. Kaado. First, Dr. Kaado has not just the skills of a physician trained to do the procedures he provides, but he approaches each patient both as a physician concerned about one's health but also as an artist who can see through the accretion of time what one looked like as a younger person. In other words, he does not just go through the motions of making his patients into a visage of someone else, but rather he restores the character that was always there but that has lost over years of stress, life, aging, etc. the vitality that still exists inside but is not reflected outside......and he carefully restores it. Second, Dr. Kaado and his expert and caring staff are genuinely concerned with one's well-being and that comes from a generous spirit and heart. I have never known a physician whose approach is as authentic and genuine as Dr. Kaado possesses. He is not satisfied until the results are as close to perfect as possible. Finally, Dr. Kaado maintains a relationship with his patients that goes far beyond the professional relationship one normally associates with a highly qualified physician. On follow up visits he examines what he could have improved, and ensures that improvement is accomplished. He does not say, "This is good enough, and therefore that's it." He demands no less perfection in his endeavor to create the outcome his patients seek than he demands of himself or his staff. This is reflected in the precision and elegance of the surroundings he has created for his office and in the careful focus on every detail of the environment in which the patient spends time during the treatments. Everything has been anticipated and is available. Since I do not live in the state in which Dr. Kaado practices, I must drive or fly many hours to see him. I got juvederm lip filler with Dr.Kaado in November 2019 & these photos of my lips were taken in the beginning of Jan 2020. I was satisfied with the structure of my upper lip, but for several weeks my upper lip was larger than my bottom lip which was not my desired results. I noticed he did multiple injections on my upper lip but when it came to my bottom lip, he only injected in the middle area and it felt as if there were two marbles in my bottom lip. I can actually still feel a bump on the right side of my bottom lip today and my bottom lip is still not symmetrical. If it weren't for the abnormal lumps on my bottom lip and the size ratio between my upper and lower lip, it could've been a great experience. This was my first time getting lip filler and I am afraid to ever get them again because this was such an embarrasing and traumatic experience for me. I avoided going out for months and just hoped the fillers would go away quickly because it is too expensive to pay for lip disolver. I decided to go to dr. Kaado based on the reviews he got. Although he is very charismatic and caring, I would never go back. I went in for under eye wrinkle micro-Botox. But he ended up selling me filler and Botox. while I was getting the treatment, I got massive bruises under my eyes, which also triggered my cold sores on my chin. So then I got sold bruising cream that was $170 for a tiny tube...for bruises that he caused! He asked me to come back to evaluate two weeks later...and when I went back my cold sore was still not gone, and now I had developed dark permanent dark patch of pigmentation (Tyndall effect) where the bruising was, so he sold me a lightening cream for $250. Now a whole month an half later, I still have these dark patches of hyperpigmentation and one side looks puffier than the other. I can't even go outside without tons of makeup to hide the dark patches, and still the makeup doesn't cover it completely. I've been so depressed because of my face being ruined, I haven't been able to go to the gym, or any other social activities I used to do because I look horrible and I'm so embarrassed. Now he's telling me to come back for chemical peels to treat the dark patches!!! I can't believe the horrible trauma, my face has gone through because of this place. Stay away!!! I've been a patient of Dr. Kaado since I moved to Virginia Beach in the beginning of 2017. I started with botox and fillers. Kaado has done botox in my chin and 11s. Hes done them multiple times beautifully, but somewhere in the middle of our time, one time he made the bottom right side of my lip paralyzed for 4 months or so. That was horrible. Hes done awesome with my lips every time. Hes lasered my eyelids once and I saw a drastic difference. He lasered the scar on the side of my nose once for free, which was so nice of him! I didn't see a difference from it I dont think or I just cant tell. I had lipo done in another country and he was kind enough to tell me that he would take care of me post op when I return home. This is the part where I lost my love for Kaado saw him for what he really was. I sent a message asking if he would write the prescriptions the my lipo doctor recommended so that my insurance would cover it and I would have it before I left, but I got no response. That part was fine. When I got home and had a seroma and fibrosis, I went to kaado and asked for it to be aspirated. He wouldn't do it because he didn't want to introduce bacteria, but instead convinced me to inject my newly traumatized body with Kybella insisting that the seroma was fat. I was in severe pain and went to the emergency room. He later tried to convince me to spend another $800 to inject it with Kybella again and when I refused he said that he could aspirate it in a week or so. Kaado does not care about you. I hear plastic surgery of virginia beach is worth checking out and that's where I'll be looking next. read more

The first visit was pleasant and included a consultation and pricing. My second visit was for a facial. It was the most disappointing, grossly overpriced facial and made me realize I won't go back for further treatment. No extractions. No steam. Just a basic face mask and lotion in a super fancy room. I was allergic to one product used and had to have it removed quickly. That likely wouldn't happen to everyone. But, the facial was incredibly over priced. It was a "massage envy level" or student facial level facial. Preformed by a nice nurse but NOT a facial FACIAL if that's what you're looking for. Again...WAY OVERPRICED. I get paying for a luxury cosmetic procedure. I do regularly. But it's not like it was a caviar facial or gold. Just a basic face mask you can order on amazon for 5 dollars. I actually did after the visit. I really liked the face mask for at home use but would never again pay this much for this basic of a service. I can't remember the exact number but between 150-250 for this facial. I was literally shocked at the register. Also, as I looked more closely at their prices quoted to me for fillers for lips, nose, under eyes, etc....I saw that I was quoted a set fee and not by the syringe of filler like most injection centers. That wouldn't have made sense financially because the level of lip and nose alterations I wanted to make were 1 syringe worth MAX and that's around $600 everywhere else. Here it was approx, $1600 for under eyes (that makes sense but after seeing two terrible reviews of the under filler received here I would be hesitant, though bruising is expected but some of their other concerns are...concerning ) Then $900 for the nose and $434 for botox. This place is your skins dream come true. Firstly, the décor is beautiful and it is a warm environment. You don't walk in and feel intimidated but rather welcomed. Staff is extremely professional and you feel at ease while waiting. Once you make your way to see the doctor...welcome to blissville. The ambiance is spa like and you are pampered. When the doctor comes to see you and you tell him what you are looking for, he listens but he has a keen eye and sculpts you like artwork and makes you look as beautiful and as natural as possible. I don't recommend him to anyone, I went in for a consultation and ending up leaving my appointment very unhappy. My apt was for acne and he proceed to tell me things that he suggested I also needed done! I left feeling very insecure about myself because I didn't think there was anything else I needed to have done. Why would a doctor do such a thing! I would not recommend him to anyone, because of the way he made me feel. Which I had done all my research an wanted to go to him because everyone was raving about him.
