Despite my best efforts to convince him otherwise, he takes a conservative, natural approach to cosmetic treatments, which is exactly why I trust him completely with Botox, filler, and peels. He knows when to say yes, when to say no, and when to remind me that I do not, in fact, need more. Most recently, I brought my young daughter in for a minor skin issue. After 10+ years as his patient, there's probably no better endorsement than trusting him with one of my children. Much of his clientele is in the Asian community (he's Korean) and does many procedure popular within that niche. Clientele is diverse though since he's been featured on AJC and NBC news. ATMOSPHERE: Very nice office. Clean and neat. In a shopping complex that includes a clothing store, furniture store, and a couple of restaurants. SERVICES: Excellent. Dr. Kim provides additional services if justified to satisfy patients without charging extra for procedure or consultation. In addition, with every procedure you get a certificate to get microdermabrasion and facial without any charge at his branch clinic, which is more of a "medspa" by Perimeter Mall. Something like that is probably worth couple $200. Consultation fee of ~$70 is waived if procedure is done. After procedures they give you cute little gift bags with all the post-op needs - antibiotics, tylenol, gauze, band aids, additional prescription if needed, etc. They have a post-op room for you to rest and they even called a cab for me on one occasion when I needed it. On one occasion since I was coming from out of town to visit, they scheduled my surgery the same day after my consultation! I was very grateful since it is often hard to accommodate additional procedures on a full surgery day. I also got Latisse here and they sell it here for $120. PRICES: I know that price should be no object when considering important life changing surgical procedure but I have to comment on this. For the procedures and service, this is a bargain since he's so reasonable. He does offer the professional discount. LOCATION: Off of Buford Hwy and Oakcliff Rd intersection on the Asian section of Buford Hwy down the street from the big farmer's market. CONCLUSION: Whenever I need his services I will definitely come back to Dr. Kim.

She took me to my room and explained everything thoroughly. The room was VERY CLEAN. The B/P cuffs are new with every patient, measuring taps new with every patient, gowns wrapped new in plastic. Thick cleansing cloths used pre surgery. I've was started first stick. Everything g flowed like a fine tuned watch. Anesthia had a Dr as well as An Nurse Anestatist and Two anesthesia assistants that came and introduced themselves. Dr. Ma came in and fully discussed the entire procedure. On first meeting her I knew she was the one for me. Kind, gentle, intelligent, thorough and more then capable. Her entire team... VERY thorough and professional. I was initially nervous but with their professionalism and genuine caring I felt at total ease. 11:00 I was wheeled into OR. I was given "Happy juice" so I didn't have a care in the world!! Next thing I knew 11:30 I was fully dressed in my room. Absolutely no pain. I was wheeled to my husband's car and off we went. It is now 8 hours since my breast implants were removed. I have NO pain!!! They ordered me pain med but so I don't need it. So arrived at 0930. In surgery 1100 out of surgery 1136 left for home 1230!!!! Amazing. What a team....

Breast cancer patient under the care of Dr. Grace Ma. This…read morereview is not for cosmetic patients. It is for women navigating reconstruction after cancer, especially younger women trying to make careful, long-term decisions about their bodies during an already overwhelming time. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent mastectomy on September 3, 2025. I chose this surgeon intentionally because I did not want breast implants. From the beginning, I was clear that I wanted reconstruction using my own tissue. My goal was not to recreate what I had before, but to move forward in a way that felt livable in my body. Smaller, lighter, natural. I would have rather gone flat than have implants. Based on those conversations, I agreed to a staged reconstruction plan. I underwent mastectomy with placement of a tissue expander with the understanding that DIEP flap reconstruction would follow in about three months. My mastectomy went well. My pathology showed the best possible outcome and I had no healing complications. There was no medical reason to delay reconstruction. I continued through recovery believing the plan was moving forward. I completed a CT scan specifically for DIEP surgery. At my final appointment, I was told surgery would be scheduled and to expect a call from the nurse. After receiving no call as promised, I followed up. The following week, I received a voicemail stating that DIEP reconstruction was not covered by my insurance and implants were suggested instead. I contacted my insurer directly. They informed me no prior authorization had ever been submitted on my behalf. The procedure had never been reviewed, which also meant I had no path to appeal. I reached out to the office multiple times asking them to submit the authorization or confirm in writing that they would not, so I could move forward elsewhere. I received no response. As a result, I have been left for months in the expander stage of reconstruction, which is supposed to be temporary. It is painful, physically limiting, and not something you can simply adjust to. I cannot sleep on my side. I have ongoing discomfort and shoulder pain. This has gone on far beyond what I agreed to. Eventually I had no choice but to leave and find a new surgeon, restarting reconstruction mid-process. That should not happen in the middle of cancer care. This was not a medical complication. It was a breakdown in communication and follow-through that left me without access to the reconstruction I had planned and consented to. It also reflects a failure to respect clearly stated patient goals. I filed complaints with my insurance, my state senators, and the Insurance Commissioner. The Commissioner's office investigated and determined that the barrier to my care was the responsibility of my provider, not my insurer. Today the medical board informed me that my complaint falls outside their jurisdiction and referred me to the Georgia Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. We are talking about cancer treatment and my body btw, yes, the body I live in and am always aware of. Women are not lifeless objects that have no thoughts or feelings. My cancer reconstruction should not be in the same category as a microwave oven but that is where becoming a client of Peachtree Plastic Surgery has led me. If you are a breast cancer patient considering reconstruction, do not assume that statements about what is or is not covered are final. Confirm that a prior authorization has actually been submitted and reviewed. Get everything in writing. I would not recommend this surgeon if your goal is autologous reconstruction or if you do not want implants. I am sharing this as a warning so that other women do not find themselves in the same position.

She came here for breast reconstruction. She had the TRAM flap. My mom was very nervous about having the surgery, but got excited when she found out that she was getting a free tummy tuck as well. My mom had a problem with anxiety, and Dr. Song helped her along the way. Dr Song is the most compassionate doctor that I have ever known. He made my mom feel like she took top priority. He took the time for her. Soooo, me being jealous of my moms perfect boobs, I just had to get mines done too! I was treated with the same importance as my mom. Dr Song explained to me the whole procedure in its entirety. He did a marvelous job! Unfortunately, three years later, my left breast deflated for some reason. I have saline, so it was ok. I called the office and made an appointment. When I went to this appointment, I was so emotional. I hadn't been there since my mom had passed. Dr. Song saw me crying and started crying right with me. He told me that my boobs were still under warranty. He waived his fee, and said that I just had to pay for the fee for the surgery area and anesthesia! What an awesome doctor. Anesthesia is expensive and he asked if I wanted to do the reimplantation with only local. I said "yes." The day of surgery, I was numbed up and didn't feel a darn thing! I was amazed! Her pediatrician recommended the Dupixent shot because her skin gets so bad it turns similar to alligator skin. Needless to say, I found a derm back in August and baby girl began her treatments and we have been able to sleep! Well, the office fell out of network with her insurance a week before her 3rd dose. That's when I encountered the HORRIBLE interaction with Dr. Moody. He began by reading her chart notes I had brought with me. Then he tells me that he doesn't give Dupixent to children due to the side affects it has lead to (specifically, swollen eyes and some sort of cancer). Although I was disappointed, I understand that every MD treats differently. I simply asked Dr. Moody if he could explain that to his staff since when I called I asked specifically for the shot for a child. If I had been told from the initial phone call that this MD doesn't offer the shot to kids, I wouldn't have came in and someone else could have used that appointment time. His response was "I don't have to listen to any other doctors recommendations." I explained that I wasn't referring to her previous provider but to his own words spoken less than 10 mins prior. He then stated "Listen this will not be an argument." I stated that it wasn't an argument, I was just asking to inform your staff that you don't offer the Dupixent shot to children. The reason for two stars is because the lady at the front helped me to find the building and she ended up being in the room with us when the Dr came in. She was sweet. After the MD walked out (visibly upset), she was still smiling and sweet. Saying it was ok when I told her that I wasn't trying to upset him, I just wish I was informed before so I could have found another option for my poor baby girl.
