Next I noticed what a greatly designed stage-really nice and professional! The 5 actors were great...I'd say perfect in their parts, they gave their hearts into the play-Barefoot in the Park. If you need reminded what it was about- young couple facing the challenges of living together with two different types personalities (which is probably is what attracted them to each other) then add in a nosey neighbor, interfering mother and 5/6 flights of stairs and you have humor!

There is not a bad seat in the house. They have a nice lobby with a small art display to match their current running show. The lobby is a nice space to enjoy intermission where you make donations for snacks and drinks. And the local talent we have here in Jacksonville is incredible. I can't wait to see more from the singers and actors in our community.

Seating is mostly folding chairs and they do have cushions (yay). Some people may also choose to sit on the stairs or in the small loft space overlooking the room and stage. There is a restroom and a foyer area right when you enter. The entrance is through a shadowy alleyway covered by trees so it can be easy to miss. The Cork provides space for artist to create, collaborate and market their work. The space is incredible & you can feel the artists' energy throughout. They all work in different mediums, so something new is around each corner. The artists host open houses and events occasionally and allow the public into their inner sanctum. You're immediately caught up in the creativity and overwhelmed by the talent in our community. The artist not only shared their visual talents - but were available to talk about their creations, new projects and entertain new clients - big and small - corporate and private. It's a great experience that I hope more of our community will see & enjoy.

Located right behind the Moroccan shrine center on St. John's Bluff. The entrance fee is a bit of 20.00 per person. The lanterns were everywhere. The entrance had a huge display followed by the huge and long movable dragon. The lighting lit up the night sky. The pamphlet they give you shows you a walk through tour of all the lighting displays. When you walkthrough the entrance you will Also tents set up with different crafts from finger hand paintings to art glass and necklace charms. The neat thing is that you hVe the craftsman making the art in front of you. There is also an acrobatic show included. These acrobats have started their skill since age 4. You will be blown how talented, strong, flexible and balanced they are. The youngest boy of 14 will amaze you with his head trick. Beautiful and amazing at the same time. I could go on and on about the lighting. The displays of the African animal kingdom, the pandas, the whales mouth and so much more. Definitely check this out. It's one of those hidden gems!
