This school is ridiculous. Submitted an application back in May 2026 hoping to start on a program for the fall semester of 2026. Called them in July and allegedly they were still processing my application. Sent them multiple emails received zero response. Their website claims it takes 2 weeks, extreme misrepresentation! Fast forward it's August 2026 and I still have heard nothing from this school, very unprofessional at this rate I'd rather take my money elsewhere. read more

Sterile/Central Processing Program=THUMBS DOWN!! Look somewhere else for your education. This was not well put together, curriculum all over the place, faculty being replaced/quit/fired or simply not showing up. My class actually stood together and fought back against the program and demanded our money back. I would never, ever attend or recommend going to this school for this program. read more

That's not a good school at all; the online teachers will fail you just because if you call them they won't answer from the financial aid to the teachers, Mr. Griffin has screwed my paperwork all the way up, causing me to miss a lot of assignments, and Jeanette Miller, she just is so forgetful, she does not need to be teaching she has got me and my sister mixed up so my grade throughout the whole semester was an (F), when I first started it says I didn't do certain assignments, so I'm telling her I wasn't even in your class then so why am I seeing an (F), she still has no clue and still failed me so no way then the English teacher Catlyn Kelly she is so racist, she asked us for our opinion on the Emmett Till, and Tamir Rice asking what should have happen to the person's that did such things to them so I told her and the cause of that led me to getting an (F) in her class as well, so I'm just like all confused now why would that subject be in your lessons if you didn't want our honest opinion, you asked the whole class to write an essay about it a 1000 page essay and she still flagged me for that like them teachers just want a check, and they will still fail you for no reason, get it together Tech because won't nobody ever want to attend that school, I know this summer I will be transferring to another school, until they get better administrators, and teachers, financial aid counselors, then I will not be in attendance. read more

This is the most disorganized school I've ever encountered. The admissions office makes it feel like they don't even want students here. I already have a degree and was simply trying to take one class to update my skills, but the process to verify my residency was unbelievably difficult. Even after sending more than 15 documents to prove residency, they still made things complicated to the point that I gave up. If you're considering this school, save yourself the stress and look elsewhere fast, this place is a complete mess. read more

Zero stars. I could not get anyone to reply to me by email or phone. Not a single advisor, program instructor or even the Dean herself. No reply until after I registered and paid for classes. Then suddenly program director wants to communicate and have me drop my classes. Complete lack of communication and respect. read more

Impossible to get anyone in admissions/enrollment on the phone. Waste of time to call. Also, you can't leave a voicemail on the 404-225-4458 admissions number. It seems as though these office employees either do not care, they are too damn lazy to do the job they are paid to do, or they do not exist. Any information anywhere should explicitly state that you will never speak to anyone in admissions or enrollment over the phone. Go ahead and call that number, give it a try if you're bored and have time to spare. These people are damn clowns. I'm definitely looking into what can be done about this pathetic place. It should absolutely be closed down. It's worthless. Bronton Crystal definitely needs to get the her lazy ass out of there and just go home. She is not working. She is on the clock getting paid to breathe, play games on her phone, or scroll social media....pathetic. read more

if i can give it 0 i would. it's impossible to get in contact with someone here. and when you do, they're no help! this school is a joke, i just can't be real. i hate the girl in the admission's office, she think she knows everything and she doesn't! just loud and wrong! none of the teachers or anyone is no help! read more

I am in the Strive program taking up Logistics. We get to test for fork lift operators and that's how I got to meet the great Mr. McCall. Stop ! before you enroll here or work here . I'm not even an employee or student, however from the proc and experience from a recent job interview I can tell that this place is very unprofessional and unsatisfactory. The staff and faculty are not even capable of doing their jobs and on top of that are rude and disrespectful . How do you even treat future potential staff and faculty members subpar i can only imagine the student's experience. read more

This school is a joke. Literally, the nursing program sucks. They should tell you during orientation that this is a self-taught class!!! There's no real help. The teachers are nonchalant and they DO NOT CARE. They're not willing to explain anything to you so if your lost you're just gonna stay Lost in class . Dr. glass and Ms. Allen are the worst teachers in history. I don't even understand how they get away with the things that they do. All Dr. glass do is talk on the phone And read a PowerPoint that you do not get. You can't talk to him or express your feelings because he catch an attitude. Also, he's the dean so you can't even make no wrong move Cause they're gonna fail you. And I also feel like they change your grade. And Ms. Allen I don't even understand how she is a teacher. She don't teach. She doesn't wanna give you no PowerPoint she barely explain anything and look at you like u Crazy when you ask her a question. She always wants you to figure something out instead of explaining and actually teaching. They get paid to read a PowerPoint and give you an exam. Atlanta Technical College Nursing Program literally stealing your financial aid money To do nothing. Then, they be acting so stingy With the lab supplies when they're trying to teach you something. Telling you not to open it Reuse the one that's already opened that everybody used, and you paid all this money To take the course that's supposed to come with supplies that for. This school is disoriented In short of staff. The senior of nursing program are literally teaching Their self because there's no teacher there. I literally hate this school It traumatized me mental And emotionally and I don't never wanna come back Not even to do a prerequisite. If you don't believe me Go on rate your Professor They've been doing this for years! read more

Worst nursing program in Georgia. It's a lot of favoritism. If you make a instructor mad they all will fail you so you can't return. The Dean is definitely not a good source to go to when you have a problem. All Dr. Walker does is prance around getting free money. Instructors intentionally fail you on exams when you know you've passed. I advise not to attend because you will regret it. Go to Gwinnett Tech or Southern Tech in Griffin much better choices. They intentionally failed me even after a review, but they didn't stop me cause I'm still a nurse today and I travel for work. They slowed me down, but God had better plans. ZERO STARS read more

Fork lift course is made clear and concise Mr. McCall is great at teaching and connecting with each student.

I want to think Atlanta technical College and Mr McCall for the opportunity to take fort, lift classes, and get certified. Because of Mr. McCall's hands on techniques and explanations I was able to learn and understand. I am confident and certified to operate a forklift properly. This opportunity not only help me career , but it also help boost my self-esteem in the mist of a crisis. Thank you if I had to recommend anybody to teach the fort live classes, I would recommend Mr.McCall. read more

I am very concerned about the professionalism of one of the employees at this institution. It has come to my attention that Jasmine Smith (business office )has been fraternizing with students during of regular work hours. She is sharing explicit photos with the students. .. This behavior is highly inappropriate, as it creates an unprofessional environment and blurs the necessary boundaries between staff and students. Such actions undermine the integrity of the institution and can lead to favoritism or other ethical issues. I urge management to address this matter promptly to maintain a professional and respectful atmosphere. read more

To say this school is a joke is understatement of the year. The problems started from the beginning for me. Upon going through the whole process of applying, I was told all Tra scripts needed to be in before an acceptance could be given. I later received an acceptance letter and attempted to move on to registering for classes; only to find there had been a hold placed on my account. After calling, emailing and even going to the school, I was finally able to figure out that the hold on my account was a "transcript hold." How can they say they didn't have all my transcripts, but sent me an acceptance letter. They apologized for their error, I sat out that semester due to not being able to get the hold removed in time and proceeded to start with them the following semester. Humanities was a good course which I got through without issue. I registered for summer semester, A&P 1 Lecture and Lab. A day later I decided to withdraw from A&P 1 (yes, I was within the window as the semester hadn't even began) and register for a math class. When the semester started, I noticed A&P Lab was still showing on my account. I contacted my advisor, the instructor and the dean to have the class removed as I wasn't able to do it from my end. After going back and forth for 2 wks, I was finally withdrawn, but not from the lab but from my math class. The class I actually wanted to take. I went to the school to speak with someone only to be told no one was available and I'd need to wait till next semester. I also couldn't get a refund for this course until the semester ended. I requested my transcript to be sent to another school July 30th, which was the end of their summer session and when grades should have been posted. Unfortunately, the transcript sent to my new school showed me as having classes "in session" for the upcoming semester. Classes I had not registered for. Speaking to the dean is pointless I still haven't been refunded. I've called 5 days straight and can't get anyone on the phone to speak with and when someone finally answered it was to say "Oh, you have to wait until ..." If you're serious about your education, go somewhere else. This school is beyond unprofessional and only care about making money. I should've listened to everyone that told me not to go there. read more

The teachers are great but the school doesn't make sure you have the tools you need to learn. They take money for books and supplies but we can't use financial aid to pay for them and they take up to two months to give you the remaining balance on your account so that you can buy what's needed on your own. It's almost a set to fail. The school needs to fix that or hire better people to do the accounting. read more

The worse school ever. Why are the books so high! Smh this is suppose to be a community college and literally all the books are marked up.

No one gets back to you via telephone or email. I have called several times, various times between 10am and 3:45pm.

The forklift class really helped me. I learned so much. Shout out to Mr. McCall he really knows his stuff!

This technical college is the worst, I've attended here since 2019 and regret every second of it. I'm a transfer student & I should have stayed at my original school. They can never get my information correct. The staff always has a bad attitude, they never answer the phones, you can never get a straight answer from anyone. You can just feel the hostility in the response when emailing someone with a question. You all need to work on your people skills & actually be willing to help students excel. This is the epitome of a ghetto & hole in the wall establishment. Atlanta Technical College needs to be shut down & re-evaluated. Maybe try hiring better and sincere human beings. You all make me sick with your preposterous attitudes, lack of respect, and unpunctual duties/responses. You all are ridiculous. read more

Nursing program just got accredited, but it's terrible! We were only 1 month in when forced to interview with ACEN, so we didn't know what to say. Look at their graduation rate. How do you accept 30 students each semester and only 5 students graduate each year. This gives them a higher NCLEX passing rate. They don't try to teach you at all. They're only interested in people that's already familiar/ working in thay field. read more

I spent a year here. I am no better off than I was a year ago before I started. The teachers are not professional and very unprepared. I never received any proper training for the field I was going into. (Medical). The admin staff acts as if you are putting them out when approached for help. The staff seems rude and never smiles. My calls do not get returned from teachers or admin staff. A lot of unprofessionalism from fellow students. My financial advisor(E. Robinson) ignored my emails. I was lucky if I ever reached her on the phone. My school advisor (A. Taylor) was very unhelpful and also ignored my emails. One of my teachers never let me know my final grade in a class or my last project. This school is a waste of anyone's time who is really trying to further themselves in life. Let me save you some time. Please go elsewhere. My tax dollars pay these teachers' salaries and they have been very subpar! Go elsewhere! read more

If you want a cheap school, go here. I will warn you, you will more than likely not get a job in your field. They may advertise a high employment rate, but ask about their gainful employment rate. They we're constantly in violation of many regulations, which caused the aviation program to shut down. https://www.myajc.com/blog/airport/faa-suspends-atlanta-technical-college-aviation-maintenance-technician-school-certificate/HpKYqiHqCMmqDmdmurHrbL/ They only had two options for students, either wait it out, or you can drive down to Macon every day to finish your course. Definitely stay away from this school. read more

I took the CDL course earlier this year and failed to complete it because I had a horrible experience with the instructor. The instructor yelled called us stupid and was very unprofessional. I can not learn with someone constantly yelling and being rude. I went to train with a friend of mine that drive over the road and figured I'd learn that way. My friend helped me by letting me ride with him and showing me the ropes. My friend encouraged me to not give up so I re enrolled in the next class and got a different instructor. My instructor Melvin Shelton never once raised his voice was very patient. Yesterday he took me and another student on his off day to the DDS and we passed our CDL test! I will always remember Mr. Shelton and his care and concern especially his ability to teach without yelling and insulting you. I'm very proud and happy to say that I'm now the proud holder of a CDL driver license with no restrictions! read more

More gripes: Teacher misses the first two days of class(and doesn't notify students when he has all of our email addresses) and acts like it's not that big of a deal. The book store and syllabus indicate the wrong book for the course. Bookstore does not even stock correct book. Teacher proceeds to teach from wrongly assigned book for two days without realizing it. Class scheduling options make it practically impossible to work either a 1st or 2nd shift full-time job when taking even a single class. read more

I had the pleasure of taking a National Exam at Atlanta Tech this past weekend with Effrin Bigham, the National Registry Coordinator. h His staff is top notch in the EMS department. They were nice and very professional. The school is incredible. After being a student at DeKalb Tech, this place is awesome. The school is clean, new and doesn't look like an old high school! What a world of difference compared to my other experiences at Atlanta Technical schools. For the hardest test and longest day of my life, the staff at Atlanta Tech made it enjoyable. read more
