So I had to take out the part of the wall that had lead paint and patch up with a new board and new paint. I contacted about 3-4 different drywall companies before Ben but none of them responded in timely fashion. When I contacted Ben, he replied back immediately and came to start working on the wall that evening. It was a complicated project which requires a visit to wood workshop and home depot along with the actual drywall work and Ben came to my house 3 days in a row to fix all up. He did such an amazing job. Also he was so responsive and accommodating on my timeline. I'm surprised that he has only several reviews here but I assume that's because he doesn't ask for a review. He is truly amazing and I recommend him to anyone who needs drywall or paint work done.

He's always been very responsive, charges reasonable rates and stands behind his work. When I started calling handymen & contractors in the area a lot of them never bothered to return messages, or would promise me a quote and then disappear. Everything he has done for us looks good and when there was an issue with part of one job he quickly showed up and fixed the problem. He's also honest when some repairs require someone with a more specialized skillset. When he discovered some issues with our brick walls he didn't hesitate to tell me that this was something that required a mason, so it's good to know he won't half-ass a job that's outside of what he normally does.

I found Handyman from Heaven via a referral service with my job and was so excited because I thought they would be able to help me with all the small issues I had throughout my home. The first visit went so well! I was able to get multiple things fixed and scheduled a larger job which was basically a bathroom Reno due to a leaking pipe. The work started off great and the team was really communicative. Then we ran into a small issue where I felt some work was improperly completed and wanted to work through it and that's where it all fell apart. The receptionist was extremely accusatory at first but did eventually call to apologize and I hoped things would be better. Once I talked to the owner he seemed really understanding and accommodating and even sent me a really thoughtful response as they were working though the issues with me so I had high hopes that we would fix the issue and continue on with the work, only they just stopped communicating with me completely. I would have fully understood if they came to a conclusion and explained to me why but they chose to do nothing and that was really disappointing. Now I have a half finished bathroom and construction debris that they left behind that I'm having to pay a new person to finish the work and clean up behind them. The worst part is I had already referred them to a friend of mine who needed some work done and had to go back and tell her, never mind because if you can't trust them with a minor inconvenience how can you trust them with a major job?! I will say if you just need some minor handyman work then go for it because it doesn't seem like my experience with them is their normal experience, but be leery and keep every record along the way.
