Great old school iron gym. This place has everything I needed to smash a workout the two days I was in town. Nothing super fancy, simple weight lifting and some great machines to compliment the weights. The two floors was really cool as well. I'll be back if I'm every in Ocean City again! read more

Great gym w/ all the necessary equipment. Friendly staff. Can't complain much, except that the place is a million degrees. I swear el cheapo owns the place. Some people like a hot gym for getting a good pump, but I don't particularly like my actual ass to sweat. My sweat has sweat. Why are my ears sweating?? Alright boys and girls, you are down at the beach but don't want to lose your gains? This is the place. They have 1,2,4 and week long passes available as well as regular memberships. This is a no frills gym. You come in you work hard and you leave. The equipment is well used but SOLID. It's got a gritty old school vibe that'll push you hard. And if that doesn't motivate you enough the decor will. Staff was super nice and the gym was clean. If I lived locally I'd be a member here. No question. Enjoy! read more

Great gym, but make no mistake this isn't a health spa with all the fluff. Greeted by Pete working the counter with a smile and a handshake. Quick and easy day pass process for $10. The place is clean and during my 90 minute workout I noticed the bathrooms were checked twice for cleanliness. The equipment is solid and provides everything you need. Highly recommend! read more

Got a short membership here while on vacation. I love the environment here and honestly jealous there are no gyms like this local to me in Virginia! I felt very motivated to workout hard here and left very satisfied with my workout every time. Staff is super nice and the free drinks are awesome- nothing is better than the price of free haha. They have a great variety of equipment and a quaint little area upstairs to do some workouts privately. I noticed they have a super cool room with some LEDs to take some pictures of yourself privately in. I didn't do that but I think that's cool :). Kind of mad at myself for not getting a shirt bc this gym is one of the dopest I've ever been to. The signed pictures of body builders are super cool too! I was a little intimidated at first because I've never been to a gym like this but I felt very comfortable here. read more

I come here religiously every year when I'm in Ocean City for vacation. As most reviewers mentioned, this is a real, old-school gym. The weights and dumbbells are all solid, and there are plenty of both, as well as plenty of room for all of the regulars and guests getting their lift on while on vacation. The staff is ALWAYS cool and super pleasant. Whenever I travel, I always find a gym to workout in and usually accept the fact that my workouts will suffer a bit. With Attilis, I look forward to switching gyms for 2 weeks. If I could give it 10 stars I would. read more

This place gets branded as an "old school gym" which is just a really nice way of saying the gym is a dump that nobody bothers to clean. Machines are dirty or constantly broken. As for the bathrooms, it looks like someone made it their mission to piss anywhere but the actual toilet. Constant garbage Nirvana songs being played at max volume when people can just listen to their air pods, or at least play something else. Half the time nobody is even at the front desk. It's the best gym in Ocean City but that says more about the state of the other gyms than the quality of this one. read more

It is a bodybuilder gym. Yes, you can grunt and drop weights, within reason. Plenty of cardio equipment. Lots of metal plates. Barbells are old and dumbbells are rough shape, but if you need a gym on vacation the hours are convenient. read more

I like this gym a lot. This is my second year going to Atilis Gym while I stay in Ocean City for vacation. It has everything you need to stay in shape. The gym is clean and the staff very friendly. I'm a 50 yo fat guy and there are some very, very fit folks working out here -- no need for any intimidation though. Those folks serve as motivation and proof of what a good gym Atilis is. Would they be at Atilis if it sucked? I don't think so. I'll be back each year we come to OCNJ! read more

I am visiting for the week and this looked like a good bet. I am pleased to report that it was a great choice. Plenty of Nautilus type machines and cardio (tons of free weights too). The main areas have air conditioning. I'll be back next year. read more

Posted a review on another site. Like another reviewer have been coming here every summer with my family and have always found it a challenge to find a gym where I can keep up my training. I had knee replacement a few years ago so finding a place with good ellipticals so I can keep up my roadwork is key. Saw this place the week before the 4th and have been delighted. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the facility is super with plenty of equipment and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Got a one week membership and have been happy as a clam :) Have told a couple of folks I met on the beach about this place . Very glad to have found you and hope you will be around for years to come! Down OC for a handful of days and needed a place to continue my program. The front desk staff were very nice and the gym was very clean. Only rated 4 stars because they do not allow chalk. For a competitive lifter, this to me is a big deal. I know, "gloves" but some lifters take pride in our calluses LOL And liquid chalk is overpriced and does not work very well. Also on because their protein drinks are overly priced as well. Would definitely go back though. read more

Visiting for a few weeks and have used them before. However, hottest week of the year and little to no air conditioning. Very disappointing. In addition some of the equipment and flooring in disrepair for quite some time. Not what it used to be. read more
