In addition, they make it difficult to cancel. You have to request a membership cancellation form and then send it back to them either via email or in person to officially cancel. This is obviously meant to be a barrier to canceling. When I spoke to the GM asking if she could explain their policy that only active members can cancel, all I was told is that it is corporate policy. I asked again if she could explain WHY this is corporate policy and she told me she had and that "I wasn't accepting her explanation" and proceeded to say "I'm sorry about the confusion or whatever this is." These are direct quotes. If customer service was better and if their corporate policies weren't designed to scam clients out of additional money when wanting to cancel, I would recommend them. The facilities are lovely and they have great massage therapists. It's really too bad. Do not spend your money here.

Maybe she's an earth angel healer in disguise :P You know when you hit that space and time seems to stop and draw out as your workout punishment you do to your body is being ringed and smoothed out? I could feel all the muscle stuff and tension as it left, I just allowed myself to breath through it and enjoy the relaxation. I lost track of time it felt short and forever, but when the 90 minutes ended I felt like a new person. I drank lots of water ate a good meal, and the next day I had full mobility and just the slightest post workout soreness. Back to the gym, hill and then yoga. I have to also talk about Erin! She was warm, kind and understanding not to mention highly skilled. I tend to be self-reliant and like to do handle things on my own but she asked the right questions at the beginning and I felt really comfortable. What I loved was that she seemed to intuitively or expertly find the next upset muscle group and make it normal again and translated my vague description of my trouble areas. The pain spread down my spine and into my ribcage until I couldn't sleep, couldn't move without crying, and couldn't even take a full breath. I was at the point of desperation. From the very beginning, Matt showed extraordinary care. He offered to extend my appointment by an additional half hour, even though he could have easily taken a lunch break. That simple gesture told me everything about his dedication to helping his patients. He didn't just place needles and walk away -- he began with skilled acupressure, using his hands to release and reset tension before transitioning into acupuncture. His approach was thorough, thoughtful, and clearly based on deep knowledge of the body. What impressed me even more was how detailed and holistic he was in his intake. He took careful notes, asked questions that went beyond surface-level pain, and even checked in about possible emotional factors. That meant a lot to me, because in my own work I know how often emotional pain manifests physically. To have a practitioner who not only recognizes that but makes space for it was truly refreshing and healing in itself. And then -- the results. By the end of the session, I could breathe again. For the first time in days, I felt my ribcage expand without pain. He also taped me with strong KT tape to support my healing in the days that followed, and each day I continued to improve. The shift was immediate, but it also lasted, which says everything about the effectiveness of his skill. Matt is not only kind and compassionate, but he has the kind of presence and bedside manner you'd hope for in the very best doctors. He's incredibly well-educated and generous with his knowledge, happily answering every question I had about his work and his field. Her technique is unique in my experience, she goes off of what she feels rather than following a set of instructions and blends a series of pure essential oils directly on my back. Her touch is firm but rather than disciplining muscle knots away, her approach is more akin to reasoning with them and gently coaxing the tight spots to go away.
