From the moment you walk in you are greeted by Mary, Lyndsay, or Kyle with professionalism and kindness. Nelle Youel was my PT and she was fantastic! She knew when to push me and when to ease up. She gave me a tailored Home Exercise Plan to help me continue to therapy at home. By the time I had my follow up appointment with my surgeon she had me at 130° range of motion! My doctor was absolutely stunned and said that I had the best range of motion he had ever seen 6 weeks post surgery! I fractured my wrist and after 6 weeks in the cast, I was told to find a physical therapist near…read moreme. ATI fit the bill, took my insurance and gave me the tools and the ability to type this and to do pretty much all the things that I was doing before the fracture. Todd was absolutely wonderful, waking up the stiff muscles, ligaments and tendons in my arm and wrist and giving me a myriad of exercises I could do at home to keep the therapy going. People see the cast and tell you all kinds of horror stories about what they'd gone through and what their experiences were in cast and out of it, but no issues here. The first day without a cast I was trying to type and managed 4 letters with my healing left hand before I gave up because of the pain. I also managed to do a mosaic workshop the next day, but really wondered if all the pain and stiffness would ever go away. I figured I would be wearing the brace for the next year or so. But the pain has diminished greatly and the brace is relegated to the bottom of the drawer. The wrist is still on the mend, but I'm gardening, cutting glass, doing upholstery, rehabbing a house, and typingin large part due to Todd and his steady, positive direction in therapy. I'm very grateful for his knowledge and expertise that's made my recovery as good as it is.

Physical therapy is not only about rehabilitation after surgery or an accident or only for athletes. Seeing a physical therapist should be more about prevention and for those who want to age well to be as functional and independent as possible. Physical therapy exams include postural alignment and movement patterns as well as strength and flexibility. When muscle imbalances do occur, some muscles become tight while others weaken which can only increase the risk of reduced mobility and injuries. If there are legitimate concerns, it is wise to be as proactive as possible with relatively simple interventions. The more we realize that the way we move can be setting us up for future problems, the more inclined we will be to see a physical therapist, sooner rather than later.

My insurance was not in their network so they offered me cash pricing for x amount of visits. I started going & loving it. Chiropractic care was helping with my headaches & sinuses. Then Feb. 2014, after going for several months to Chiro One, I was in a major head on collision, 3 car accident. I called Dr. Jason and informed him about the accident and told him that the doctors suggested I not go to the chiropractor until doctor visits & physical therapy visits were completed. I talked to him a couple times during my recovery time to get his opinion on certain things. Then once released, I tried to go back to Chiro One to complete my remaining visits that were paid for out of pocket. I made an appt, went in, was re examined, spoke with Dr. Jason; he informed me he didn't have time to look at my new x-rays until later and he apologized, but I would not be able to be adjusted same day, to make an appt for tomorrow, so I did. I received a call from Dr Jason the next day stating that he needed my new insurance info. I told him I would provide it once we were done with the remaining visits I had, he told me that he would have to refund my money or roll the value of the remaining appts into a new plan, because the previous plan was no longer valid. I said let me know what the cash refund would be and we could go from there. With a phone call back in less than 5 mins, I was told that my remaining visits were worth $252.00, but that I could not get a cash refund. I would need to give them my new insurance info and they would apply the $252.00 towards my deductible on my new insurance. This is not the way I would do business, nor do I believe this is good business.

As a 22 year old woman that had me worried, because I was in otherwise good health. It has truly been an emotional and physical battle for me. I felt debilitated by them and felt like I couldn't socially function anymore. I couldn't concentrate at work, I skipped classes because of the pain, and didn't want to go out with my friends, because I was always so fatigued. I was already through the ringer of the ENT doctor, and then at the time a neurologist. I was on a high dosage of seizure meds just to get the pain to stop. Then I felt numbing in my arms and legs (which was apparently normal) and felt very lightheaded, yet heavy. Not to mention a restricted diet. That medicine was concealing the pain and just hiding the problem, not fixing it. I knew that wasn't a sustainable option or lifestyle I wanted to live by. My experience with Chiro One started about a couple of months ago. I stumbled across the booth at the Green Expo at ECC and set up an appointment for me and my boyfriend to go in. I was desperate for anything. I have been going multiple days a week to get adjusted and do therapy on my neck (and back). Over time my headaches grew further apart and weaker. It felt like a miracle. It wasn't instant, but I have stuck with it for my well being and seen results I didn't even expect. I rarely have headaches anymore, and if I do I just do my exercises they gave me. The real shocker is that I don't take any meds! Plus, I can enjoy a nice glass of wine again! Dr. Jason and all of his wonderful employees have actually turned my life back into the right direction. I have learned so much about my health and gained friendship and guidance through all of these people. I feel much more full of energy, health, and happiness. So now my question is, what are you waiting for?
