This doctor was very confident at our first meeting. He sold me on his "central hub" philosophy…read morewhere we would go over the information from other doctors together and then decide what would be the next course of action. It took about a week with only the one visit and one procedure ordered for him to refer me to two other doctors via a nurse call. He forgot to sign a prescription before leaving one day, didn't correctly sign off on the procedure he ordered and commonly waited until the last min of the day to have a nurse call back. The end of the day callbacks were the worst of it. If you were to call anyone or if a problem occurred he wasn't available to make aware of any problems. He might not be back for a number of days as well and there's nothing the staff will do to help. You want to leave a message; not unless he's there. You have something important to tell him; You can leave a message with a nurse on days he's there and a nurse will call you back to ask what's wrong. Then you can tell them and they will tell the doctor. After all that you can get a call back when the doctor is leaving or has left. Just hope he's not off for a week or tough luck for you I don't want to "bash" a defenseless doctor on yelp but I will say you could find someone better with very little effort. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

Skip this clinic and go somewhere else, and if you need to file a complaint, go right to the state and JCAHO, because this clinic manager will lie to cover herself, no matter what documentation says. My children have been seeing the same pediatrician since 2017. Last year, he moved to this clinic. Today, my boys were to be seen for their well-children visits. My oldest has a skin condition, and wearing a mask for even a short period of time causes a viral wound to open on his face and he will have this open wound for weeks. He is on a daily maintenance antiviral to prevent this wound from opening, even without mask wearing. This med is prescribed and managed by a dermatologist WITHIN THE CHILDRENS' WI SYSTEM. When I spoke with both the nurse and the clinic manager, they told me that they didn't care what the mask would do to my son's face, that my children would not be seen unless my oldest was wearing a mask. Three hours later and my children are now established with a non-CHW pediatrician. My children will still be seen by their specialists at other clinics. It's clear that this clinic does NOT put their patients' physical well-being first.

I think she could use a little more education on dealing with kids in an age appropriate manner. Taking an extra 2 minutes to teach a 5 year old about the process rather than bullying him into position and then stabbing him forcibly while he yells isn't quite the experience we imagined. While corporate won't care; look elsewhere for a first time pediatric phlebotomist. Per my child, 'she's a mean lady'. I imagine there are plenty of kids who simply won't sit for this, but we're a healthcare household and an extra 2 minutes to prepare him goes a long way for future appointments
