Looking back almost a year now I am completely recovered and back to my normal schedule. Dr Acree, his PA Elizabeth and all the staff I had contact with were amazing, caring, concerned, prompt and just very friendly people to work with. I arrived on time, completed my paperwork, and was initially assisted by kind and professional staff. However, while being escorted for x-rays, a male x-ray technician (name unknown) entered the room and began yelling at me aggressively because I was briefly on my phone while ending a work-related call. His tone was loud, hostile, and intimidating. I asked him calmly not to speak to me that way, but he continued yelling and then stormed out of the room. I felt frightened, shaken, and unsafe. No patient should ever be spoken to in that manner--especially in a medical setting. The behavior was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. The technician who completed the x-rays was apologetic, and the doctor later apologized as well, which I appreciate. However, that does not excuse the initial interaction. Policies can be enforced without yelling or intimidating patients. This experience left me visibly upset and crying, and it took time for me to regain my composure. I am sharing this because no one should feel threatened or afraid during a medical visit. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses staff conduct so other patients do not have a similar experience.

Now the surgeon himself did a good job on the surgery I assume but his assistants have really dropped the ball. I'll be having ankle surgery in near future but would rather have someone that at least tries to show they care. Orthopedics Specialist of Dallas not so much, they don't even try to act like they give a damn.

Didn't have any of the supplies he was asking for. When he was finished, he just got up and left and the nurse told me "You're all done" and walked out of the room too. I had to ask for a rag to wipe the goop off they used for the sonogram. Then I walked up to the front to schedule a follow up. It was set up for 10-14-15. Needless to say with the amount of pain I was feeling from this procedure, I called the next day and told them and the nurse told me to take my pain pills and if it didn't feel better before the follow up, call and come in earlier. I found another GREAT doctor that drained over 30 cc's and actually gave me after care instructions. I called to cancel my follow up appointment and she actually told me I didn't have one. I still have the card. This place needs to get it together. I have had this done several times, and have never experienced this kind of pain to where I couldn't even bend my knee. My new dr sat and answered all my questions and actually does the pt for you. So glad I listened to my friend and went and saw new dr. Knee actually feels great and he gave me a brace and a polar care to keep it iced. Would never refer this dr for anything. He didnt take the time to answer any questions or even wipe the goop off of my knee. I give a BIG FAT ZERO to this practice.
