After his initial assessment, the team agreed he needed 30+ hours of weekly ABA therapy to support his development. Unfortunately, Rush consistently failed to deliver. Despite the agreed-upon plan, our son never received more than 17 hours per week, even during summer sessions it was decreased even further down to just 13 hours. Early intervention is critical for autistic children to build essential skills in communication, cognition, and social development, as emphasized by every autism support group we've joined. Rush's inability to provide the recommended therapy hours has hindered our son's progress. Worse, Rush made recommendations that seemed contrary to his best interests, such as reducing his weekly hours after he missed a few days over a couple of weeks or allowing their therapist make medical diagnosis when they have no training to diagnose medical conditions. This lack of commitment and follow-through has been deeply disappointing. We expected a center dedicated to supporting autistic children to prioritize their needs, but Rush fall far short of that standard.

Dr. Camaj was very thorough in her evaluation and worked me diligently. But the best part was when she soon realized "something is wrong" when I wasn't making progress and suggested I go see another doctor for the hip. Good thing she said that... the first surgeon botched it bad and I had to have a total hip replacement. Bottom line, Dr. Camaj's professionalism is second to none, and I highly recommend their service.

I went in with annoying plantar fasciitis. I stopped going because my Dr. told me that I would need surgery - because the PT made things worse. Initially, it was just a little stiffness and pain. Eventually, I was put in an immobilizer boot, only able to walk with crutches, and told to get an MRI because surgery was likely - due to the tendon damage caused by the therapy that was supposed to help me. I understand that the issue was that they were understaffed. It happens. I get it. But their profit should not be at the sacrifice of my health. They should have never taken me on as a patient. They know what they did to me. No one ever called to check in on me. No one ever followed up to see if there was anything that they could do. But guess what they didn't forget - to send the bill. Yeah, they didn't forget that.

I have 7 year old twin boys with sensory processing disorder and texture aversion, which lead to extremely picky eating. Actually, when we started with Miss Michelle and Miss Marie 1 1/2 years ago, one of my boys only had 3 foods that he ate and the other maybe 15. We tried many things to get them to eat different foods, but nothing worked. When they started gagging just from the smell of cooking and from the sight of applesauce, I realized it was a much bigger problem that was going to require professional help. It turns out, along with the SPD and texture aversion, they both have reflux which was diagnosed by Miss Marie and Miss Michelle, then substantiated by an ENT referral and scope. Once they were on Prevacid for about a month, things started to change. With the food chaining techniques, homework, and games, they now have a completely different diet. Last night we had baked chicken, spinach salad, and rice for dinner - and that is what they ate. We can go out to restaurants without bringing their food with us. It has been a truly life changing experience. We have been so happy with KatieBug and would recommend them to anyone needing a SLP, especially kids with feeding issues and picky eating.
