I have been on the medicine for 12 years. Dr Willis was too busy to be bothered with my refill about a year ago, and I got extremely ill. She made me go 5 days without it last time. I am out again, and I have no idea how many days it will take this time. I am switching out of Banner even if my insurance won't cover the new Dr. It's that bad. I have made 8 requests for the refill so far only to be ignored.

I was told "we can always get it from the Doctor as well" I said "great" Which I assumed she would have done. This appointment wasn't made yesterday - they had plenty of time. Today I show up and I forgot the order - also thought again, they would have it. The gal said "well, I need it" I said " well, I forgot it and you said you could get it from my doctor" She said again " well I need it" and I said "listen I'm just moving this PT to closer to home. It literally just has to get moved back and forthI've been getting PT for months on this thing" she looks at the PT gal who with her eyes closed and shaking her head says NO. She said "well she won't see you with out the order" Here is my problem .... Why are they making this my problem - offer to call the doctor, offer to take a look at my foot since I am here and you front desk gal call the doctor in the meantime Let's come up with solutions vs making me feel like an idiot. The room is incredibly small it's not like I couldn't see her rude face shaking her head no. I said "you know what, that is not someone I would want to work this so I'm going to leave" The receptionist then asks "well do you have the doctor's number? Regardless of the PT I went to, the diagnosis was the same, as well as the prescribed therapy to help me recover. While the pain would gradually subside, it never completely went away, and would inevitably return after any excessive use of my right arm. After 4 months of very limited motion in my right shoulder, I decided to try something different. Biomechanix wasn't in my insurance network, but I heard great things about them, so I paid out of pocket and took the chance. Worth every penny. The vibe is very friendly, and everyone there is extremely knowledgable and helpful. My therapist, Craig Galbasini took me through a variety of movements to assess the problem, and then showed me some exercises to help address my mobility limitations. If I'm being honest, I was pretty skeptical of what he asked me to do because the exercises weren't very flashy, and didn't seem to be directly related to the area I was feeling pain. I went along with it and kept wondering in the back of my mind when we were really going to get to work. After 4 treatments, (FOUR!) the pain had all but gone away, and my mobility is better than it's ever been. He didn't just band-aid the issue, but found the root of the problem and took care of it. I'm going on 90+ days now and have not only returned to the gym and normal activity, but I don't have to nurse my right arm like I did before. Mobility and strength has improved dramatically, and I learned a lot about how to protect and maintain shoulder health going forward. Bottom line: You owe it to your body to get help from the best.
