I chose Wellness Solutions because of its excellent ratings, but my experience was extremely disappointing. As a Deaf individual, I felt taken advantage of. Before scheduling, I informed the office that I have Medicare and Medicaid. They confirmed Medicaid but never clarified whether they accepted my specific insurance. After driving ONE HOUR from Chicago to Lake Forest, I was told upon arrival that my insurance was NOT accepted! Had I known, I would NEVER have scheduled the appointment. Worse, they provided NO ASL interpreter or Video Remote Interpreting (VRI). I was confused about the unexpected charges and had to communicate through my phone and the therapist's laptop. Approximately 20 minutes were spent typing back and forth, reducing my treatment time. I will give credit to the therapist, who was kind, patient, and helpful with my shoulder inflammation. However, **$150 OUT OF POCKET for approximately 30 minutes of treatment instead of the expected 45-minute session is UNACCEPTABLE!** I attempted to contact management to negotiate a fair reduction, but communication has been disappointing. I now attend another physical therapy facility that ACCEPTS my insurance, provides VRI, and does not require weekly out-of-pocket payments. **My issue is NOT with the therapist. It is with management's poor communication, last-minute insurance disclosure, lack of Deaf accessibility, and unfair billing experience.** **NOT DEAF-FRIENDLY! I was a week from scheduling cervical (neck) surgery because I…read morehad been in severe pain and no other specialists had helped to alleviate it. Mind you, I was in such pain that I could barely dress myself or walk to another room. I had spent almost 2 months basically sitting in a recliner to get some relief. My husband had to even drive me to each of the appointments. I tried everything short of the surgery including steroid packs, prescription pain medication, physical therapy, and a cortisone injection with no relief. After receiving an X-ray, 2 MRI's for the neck and shoulder (to rule out shoulder problems), I received a diagnosis of cervical stenosis (a narrowing of the spinal column with herniated discs). When the previous methods did not work, I met with a spinal surgeon and was about to schedule surgery. My kind sister-in-law recommended Dr. Molloy. I was reluctant because how could a chiropractor help when my diagnosis was a narrow spine? But I kept an open mind and was willing to try anything. I was able to get in immediately to see Dr. Molloy. He was friendly, kind, and answered all questions readily. He took his own X-rays and found that in addition to the herniated discs that I also had a rotated disc in my upper back (something that was never looked at previously). I began to see Dr. Molloy 4-5 days a week for approximately two months. At these visits, he gave adjustments (I'm very happy to report that my rotated disc is back in place!), used a muscle stimulator on my upper back (due to the tense muscles), and used ultrasound to reduce the nerve inflammation. This is the third month since I began seeing him and I am happy to report that I am significantly better. I no longer take any prescription pain medication. I only see him once per week for ultrasound and now have gotten back to all daily activities! I very highly recommend Dr. Molloy. He is really one of the best doctors out there!

I went for physical therapy following a total hip replacement of my right hip and worked with Felisha, who was FANTASTIC. The first thing she asked was, "What are your goals, and what do you want to be able to do when you're done with physical therapy?" Great question, since some people simply want to be able to navigate their day without pain, and others like me want to be able to live active lifestyles and do more. She worked with me, encouraged and supported me, and got me exactly where I wanted to be. She's excellent at what she does, and even when I had slight doubts about where I'd end up, I had great faith in HER. I like how detailed she is, explaining how the body works, and what the end result will be by working on strength, endurance and range of motion. I also had a chance to work with Harnisha and Gaelen, who were wonderful. And Michelle at the front desk is a real sweetheart and the perfect person to be the first encounter in the facility. My orthopedic doctor is with ILBJ in Arlington Heights, and I didn't want to drive that distance twice a week, so finding they had physical therapy in Libertyville was a godsend. I just finished p.t. a couple days ago and couldn't be happier with the results. I HIGHLY recommend them.

I get there, the front desk staff lady ( I wish I could remember her name). I believe she was of asian descent. Anywho, RUDE and acted as if I didn't matter. She got the nurse I spoke with and they proceeded to talk about the front desk staffs nails as if I wasn't standing there. I have NEVER received such terrible service from a doctors office. The nurse even told me that we had not had the conversation and told me I was lying. REALLY??? Would I take off work early, make up a doctors appointment all for the hell of it? NOT!!! Very sad! I have never been treated as they treated me in that office that day. I will not ever go to that location again...
