It was awful, one of the worst meals I've eaten for a high price. Lamb chops were supposed to be cooked medium well but they were burned to a crisp, cold, and were smaller than a plum. They were out of sweet potatoes that comes with it. It came with pita bread and there was none served. I won't be returning and I wish I had my money back. The interior lacks any ambiance and little to nothing that is culturally Greek with fluorescent lights that give it a cafeteria feel. read more

I used to live in Greece about 100 yrs ago it seems. However we found this place on our way home and it was wonderful!! Authentic made from scratch food the Gyro Platter with saffron rice was excellent. My wife got the Gyros and it was also excellent. This place never lets us down, and I wish more people would eat here! The ambiance is quiet and perfect for a group dinner where you want to hang out and talk for a bit. Very clean & plenty of seating. Super nice staff. Very quiet w/the only noise coming from the elevator music. The smells from the kitchen are mouthwatering! As someone who spent a lot of time in the Middle East, this place was spot on w/their food. The menu is very simplistic which makes it super easy to order or find something you want to try. Middle Eastern/Greek/a little italian/mexican flare is sure to land you something you would def enjoy. I ordered the Greek Chicken Souvlaki & the Greek Lemon Chicken. Chicken is absolute perfection. Their sauces were perfectly matched w/each dish. The bed of yellow rice goes so well w/the dish as a whole. Messed up and got too full for dessert. Will def include that on my next stop. A friend and I decided to try out this relatively new restaurant. The service was very attentive and friendly. The food was almost perfectly prepared. For an appetizer, I had the stuffed mushrooms, which weren't altogether that flavorful to me. For my entree, I went for the fajita platter, which included delicious lamb and chicken meat and vegetables over rice. The portion size was enormous! It also included a small salad, pieces of pita bread, and taziki sauce. All of the ingredients were really fresh and tasty. I took home an order of homemade baklava, which was made with walnut and pistachios. So delicious. I'm also glad that I listened to my server's recommendation to try their Arabic tea. read more

I'm a bit conflicted about this place. The service was amazing, Kendall was a sweetheart and super attentive. We even forgot our leftovers and they brought them out to us. The food overall was decent, but some of the Greek staples, like the hummus, pita, and falafel were lackluster and under-seasoned. The fries and the gyro, however, were amazing; well seasoned and tender. The spanakopita were good, but nothing to write home about. The restaurant itself was clean, but did have inexplicably sticky floors. It was well decorated but casual. Overall, if I could leave 3.5/5 stars I would. read more

Seeing an ethnic restaurant in town, I was excited to try it. But WOW! THE FOOD WAS TASTELESS. There was literally no salt and seasoning in my food whatsoever - it's like the "chef" missed this ingredient entirely. I took a bite and spit it out. The lemon chicken was dry, chewy, and inedible. To top it all off, this so called chef/owner calls me back telling me that he is the top 100 chef in the country. What a joke! He told me that I should come see how he prepares the lemon chicken. ROFL! NO THANKS! How about take ownership for something getting messed up? Talking to him was like talking to a mob boss. Kitchen nightmares anyone? Please go to a real Mediterranean restaurant in Memphis or something! They don't even have a website - the menu is basically photos on Google images. The person that took my order over the phone misinformed me. Yet the owner blamed me for not ordering on DoorDash instead. Really?! The owner's daughter / manager was actually sweet and apologetic about the lack of website and misinformation over the phone, etc. But that was before I ever tasted the food and had to call back and had the misfortune of speaking to the mob boss/chef/owner. What a hidden gem of a restaurant in Jonesboro! My husband and I had an amazing lunch this afternoon. I had the Greek cheeseburger and fries. He had the Athens salad with salmon. We were absolutely one-hundred-percent satisfied with our delicious meals, the friendliness of the staff, and the cleanliness of the restaurant! We come to Jonesboro frequently to spend time with our family here, and the next time we visit, Athens will be at the top of the list of our favorite dining places. read more
