My husband and I called Chris at C&W over 4 years ago, bought a reconditioned portajon from him for…read moreour cabin, and paid every month for his company to service it. The money came out the day that I indicated, every month like clockwork, and a day or two later, they would show up and service the unit. When my veteran husband got sick, Chris went out of his way to make sure we had service. It seems now that since Chris tied in with Jons-to-go, the service is either spotty or nonexistent. The money comes out "whenever we get to it", and we are then told that our service day is whatever day they decide to come out. One time it's a Thursday, then a Wednesday, or now it's a Monday. Or even next month. I finally called this month to find out when we would have service, since it was a month since they had been here. I was told they would be here next Monday, and they would take the money out right then. Monday came and went. No service. I called again and was told that I could pay for another service, because they had been out the week before. Um, no, I told Amy that they had not been out since July 17th. As you can imagine, this toilet is getting pretty nasty. She actually argued the point with me!!! I should know when my toilet was serviced!!!!! I asked for my money back, and she actually told me that she billed "after the fact" and I had already had service!!!! I told her that I had always paid up front, and to put the money back into my account. She finally said she would credit my account and hung up on me. Chris Vandermuelen. Thank you for taking good care of us while my husband had cancer and hip surgery. But hon, whoever is taking over your business office is not doing you any favors. Amy actually asked me if I wanted to find someone else. I was in a service business for 20 years. I sure as heck wouldn't ask that of a customer. It took me all of ten minutes to find another company, at the same price too.

Northern Sprinkler Systems provides wonderful customer service. I was scheduled for a simple spring…read moreturn on of my sprinklers and it turned into needing much more work. Never once did I get the impression that he didn't have time or that I was an unscheduled additional work that he would need to come back for. I can't tell you how refreshing that is to have service these days with a smile and a "I can do that" attitude no matter what goes wrong. I felt really bad when he showed up as I had a sprinkler head I had moved and tried to rebury- lets just say they would never hire me. So I knew that he would have to redo what I miserably failed at :) He was great about it, then discovered I had yet another sprinkler head that was buried under my new deck. What amazed me was I never got the impression of it being a problem... he fixed it with a smile (while belly crawling under a foot high low deck). Not only that but he adjusted the times on my zones to be more appropriate and hooked up my rain sensor that wasn't working. All without me asking! I know this is just his job to do these items, but I want to thank Northern Sprinkler Systems. It seems to be rare these days to get this kind of customer service. Unfortunately some companies would just come in and do the basics and leave. He went through everything to make sure all was in working order, he didn't wait for me to point out what needed to be done (as mentioned before I can't even bury a simple sprinkler head so it is nice that I don't have to point out what needs to be done). As a business owner myself, I try to go above and beyond and always provide great customer service. But I recognize that sometimes things don't go as planned and you can lose that great service. If you want great sprinkler service... go to Northern Sprinkler Systems!
