It's black owned, woman owned and operated, and her name is Ms. Traicee. She's very down to earth and open with you. With your stay comes three meals a day and unlimited snacks and non alcoholic drinks. She even helps provide a in house masseuse for a extra charge. Which saves on Uber/Lyft/taxi rides. Her house manager, Dai, helps with keeping up on the clients and the day to day of operations. They seemingly work very well together and together makes you feel like they are your family vs your overseers. The house is very clean and kept well. The customer service with booking and information was great. So many girls referred them to me so here I am referring you to this recovery house. Worth every penny.... I paid $925 for 5 nights 6 days WHAT A STEAL! There are extras that you can buy (transportation, massages, etc) that might give you a higher cost. The downside: She only accepts cash apps (Zelle, Apple Pay, cash app, etc) for payment. She should totally get a website for payment thru there. My card had a block on it for apps so it took me awhile to get through to my bank customer support to lift the block and allow payment thru one of the apps. So for her to have one downside and have a lot of pros... I'll def be booking here again and referring everyone that will listen. I honestly would stay here again if she wanted to host a hostel. She has specials from time to time so please look out for that on her IG page: @elitejourneywh Dont ask me what plastic surgery place I went to cause... that's for another review. Toodles.

My experience with Nisy Recovery Service was great. 5Star+ !…read more I had my first surgery ever done here in Miami, and needed a recovery nurse fast. I called Nisy and was lucky enough to get her the same day of my surgery. I was so happy they she was able to accommodate me especially since it was so last minute. She was an Angel. Once she picked me up from the hospital we went to go get my prescriptions as well as food . From there we came back to my hotel where she took my vitals and created a personal schedule for the times I needed to take medication. She was so supportive and made me feel super comfortable and was there monitoring me the whole time. She was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions I had and also gave great advice that I can use during my recovery process . You can feel that she really cares about her patients well being which just makes the whole experience even better. I am so thankful to have had her to take care of me and would highly recommend her to anyone in need of recovery services during their cosmetic surgery journey.

Im rating this business 1 star due to lack of professionalism and lack of communication…read more I contacted Nisy Recovery service for post op care in December 2021. I spoke to Nisy directly on the phone and explained what I was looking for. It sounded like she was driving and she told me she'd call me back and never did. I followed up with her via text a couple times and never received a response. The way you interact with clients tells a lot about how you run your business. Nisy was short on the phone with me and lied to me. This was a red flag and a sign that maybe I dodged a bullet. I couldn't imagine hiring this company to care for my health if the business owner doesn't have the decency to communicate back with potential clients.

I literally felt like I was at a home away from home.Max, Wendy, and Niesha were all attentive, sweet and caring, they even took excellent care of my mom who was my companion for the week. There was nothing we needed that wendy and niesha both didn't bend over backwards to fulfill. I kept saying all week, I'm so happy I chose them. I will be sending my friends there as well. I had surgery last week and booked my stay here. Unfortunately I did not have the best experience…read morethat I expected to have. One thing started off bad was that I was not picked up by the staff they just called me an Uber and I was waiting at the airport for over 30 minutes. They say that they take you to all your appointments and drop off your prescriptions and everything you need is taken care of. After my surgery I had a complication and I needed to go back to the clinic. Max had told me she would drop me off but I was responsible for the ride back. This is three days after surgery. I was heavily medicated and could hardly function on my own. I was crying and very upset and had to call myself an Uber to take me back to the house. The traffic is so bad that each way is about an hour even though it's only 12 miles away from the clinic I went to. Then I needed to drop off an additional prescription. She told me she was not going to take me there or drop off the prescription for me and I would have to do it on their own and Uber. I'm walking around in a nightgown heavily medicated stumbling at Walgreens. I developed necrosis after my surgery I asked everyone that was there if it looked normal and they said it was fine I was just part of my healing process. I didn't feel that was accurate. Clearly they aren't experienced or knowledgeable about any type of surgical complications that can happen. They barely even had any supplies that I needed. They have different people working different shifts. It's only one person at a time. It's very hard to get a hold of anyone when you need them. It felt like I was being a nuisance every time I had to call someone to get me something or help me get up out of bed. Every time I needed some thing it seems like nobody knew where anything was. They don't even provide you with a towel and you have to bring your own. They do not have a paging system where you can call for help. They expect you to use your cell phone to send a text message whenever you need them to come for assistance. They say there's 24/7 care however in the middle of the night they're sleeping and there were multiple times where I needed help and had to sit there and text and call when I could hardly move my arms or see straight. They should have someone available to you to help you in the middle of the night. The last day I was there I was crying and begged for the lady to pick up my prescription that I had to drop off on my own. They gave me the feeling that I was all alone and we're not comforting at all. There is one girl name Kendra and she was very nice. Also yvonne was very nice, however again I just felt like it was disorganized and nobody knew where anything was and it was hard to get a hold of them. I really was bothered by the fact that I had to call my own ride to drop off a prescription and get myself back from the clinic. I spent days crying because of my situation and it was almost like they were dismissive of my situation and tried to tell me that I was fine like I was just overreacting. After I got back home I went to the emergency room and I had a severe situation that is requiring me to have reconstructive surgery. I don't know if this is how all the recovery houses are in Miami but unfortunately I cannot recommend this place for someone to recover.

My Experience at TLC Nova Recovery House…read more I chose TLC Nova because of the promises made in their written agreement. Unfortunately, many of those promises were not honored during my stay. I have the signed agreement, text messages, receipts, and other documentation supporting the statements in this review. I booked my stay months in advance. A few days before my surgery, my airline changed my flight, so I contacted the owner to let her know I would be arriving one day earlier. I asked whether my contracted private room would be available or if I should book a hotel. Instead of honoring our agreement, I was given a completely different address. When I questioned the change, I was told that my room had already been rented to someone else. I asked that the original agreement be honored, but was told that if I wasn't happy with the change, I could cancel my reservation just days before my surgery. Traveling from another state for a major operation, canceling at that point simply wasn't a realistic option. Unfortunately, that was only the beginning. Throughout my two-week stay, several services and accommodations that were promised in writing were either not provided or were delivered differently than represented. One of the biggest disappointments was the overall cleanliness of the house. The common areas and bathrooms were not cleaned consistently, and the level of sanitation was far below what I expected from a recovery facility caring for post-operative patients. After surgery, a clean environment is not a luxury--it's essential. The food was another major issue. Meals were extremely repetitive, and I was served chicken for both lunch and dinner for five consecutive days. Much of the food appeared to be reheated from previous meals and served again. After major surgery, proper nutrition plays an important role in healing, and I expected much better quality and variety. One of my biggest concerns involved my prescriptions. I was told it would take five days to obtain them, that they would cost between $250 and $350, and that I had to pay by cash or Zelle because the pharmacy supposedly would not accept insurance. Instead, I had them transferred to Walgreens, where they were filled using my insurance for approximately $19. Before booking, I was told there would be approximately one caregiver for every three patients. During my stay, there were times when one caregiver was responsible for four fresh post-operative patients while working around the clock for multiple days. Regardless of how caring or hardworking that caregiver was, I do not believe one person can safely provide the level of attention four surgical patients require. Transportation was also not what I expected. In practice, it often consisted of calling an Uber. Whether I received any assistance getting in or out of the vehicle depended entirely on the driver. After major surgery, I expected a higher level of support. The most frightening moment of my stay happened when I began choking while eating. Because I had recently undergone a tummy tuck, I didn't have the strength to cough effectively. The caregiver present did not know how to respond appropriately, and another patient ultimately stepped in to help me. That experience was terrifying. Recovery after major surgery is stressful enough. After paying thousands of dollars for post-operative care, I expected the environment to reduce that stress--not add to it. I stayed at TLC Nova for two weeks, so these were not isolated incidents or first impressions. This review reflects my personal experience. If you're considering staying here, I strongly encourage you to read your contract carefully, keep every communication in writing, and verify exactly which services will actually be provided before making your decision.

They showed me my room had me settle in shower and got me some food which I was starving after spending more than for hours at the clinic for preop. My housemates for the week were also welcoming. Ms. Opal runs a house filled with love so her patients feel that they are a home away from home. Surgery was no joke as I did a combo procedure. But they are beyond accommodating to make sure I am always comfortable. She called my family after surgery to let them know I was ok. I got to speak to them but I was still a little bit out of it. Extremely grateful for that because traveling alone your family worries. Cleanliness they are constantly cleaning sweeping, moping, disinfecting, etc. there are snacks Gatorade, juices and you if you have special request even down to a peanut butter sandwich they will accommodate you. Reminder after surgery with anesthesia and pain meds will be difficult to use the bathroom they have prune juice and serve it warm along with stool softener with laxative. I immediately requested a refund and was told it would be processed the next day, but after 7 days I still had not received it. I disputed the charge with my bank, but the company falsely claimed services were provided, even though I never stayed there because they could not accommodate me. When I followed up, I received inconsistent explanations. First, I was told they did not know what happened with the website, then later I was told the booking was "non-refundable." I do not believe a non-refundable policy should apply when the business is unable to provide the service purchased. e I believe the business acted unfairly and misleadingly. The owner was also EXTREMELY RUDE and dismissive a scam too. BEWARE. I wish I read these reviews before booking
