Love this store! All.of your Polish needs. I go here for holidays to get stuff for my dad and his cousin who are from across the pond. The staff here is nice, and I wish I had learned Polish as a kid so I could communicate with them more easily...that's not to say they don't speak very fluent English...just that they seem to speak very efficiently in Polish with other customers. Prices are good for the kinda stuff I get (mostly kielbasa, kishka, and pierogi), and the selection and quality is unrivaled. read more

I'm not Polish, but I go with a Polish friend of mine. It's amazing how many people are here speaking Polish to each other. What a lovely culture. They have a nice selection of Polish foods that I really enjoy. Here are some of the things I like: *the coffee, which is actually German *the tea, but have someone translate it for you because some are meant for cleansing and I learned that the hard way *the borscht concentrate that comes in a bottle *the pickled mushrooms and pickled beets *the sarepska mustard is absolutely my favorite *freshly baked bread In addition to fresh and smoked meats and cheeses, they have a freezer section with pierogi, and also a good selection of Polish and German chocolates. (11/03/2013) Went to get some smoked meats at the request of some dear friends. I have little knowledge of Polish food, it was an interesting visit. The folks behind the counter were very friendly, gave us a couple of samples of something like ham and something like bacon. Picked up a couple pounds apiece of Hunters Sausage, Smoked Polish Sausage, Garlic Sausage. Got some frozen Cheese and Potato Pierogi's (looked like from Sophia's) and some spicy brown mustards. Looking forward to return visits to figure out what and how to use everything else in there. read more

I went here on a weekday and it was empty. The market is pretty small, about the size of a 7-11 I'd say. The older gentleman working there was really friendly and helped me pick out a few items (I don't speak Polish). I ended up taking home some frozen perogis (they have sweet and savory flavors from a few brands) and a smoked hunter kielbasa. For those who do more polish cooking, I can see this place being a good resource for imported ingredients. They had some tables near the front, so they might sell some hot food too. During the current pandemic, the lady at the deli counter had her mask string on one ear with the rest hanging off her face. I was waiting for her to stop what she was doing and put her mask back on and she did not. When it was my turn to order, she proceeded to touch my food maskless with dirty gloves. I watched her with the prior customers and everything she was touching in between including adjusting her hair which was falling into her face. I asked her to put her mask on and then put new gloves on. I also said I don't want that piece of deli which she already touched and put on the scale. She stepped away and put a mask on. Her nose was not at all covered. I said something and she completely ignored me. I should have walked out of the store at that point without purchasing anything. I regret going here and spending my money. The store places 0 value on safety/cleanliness. She did not protect anyone in the store if she potentially had the virus, with her inappropriate behavior. I love stopping here when I go to the post office across the street. They have the best pierogies I have ever had! They're light and fluffy and come in a variety of fillings. I order ham from the deli and chop it up and add it to the pierogies in the pan - just mouth-watering. The cookies are delicious, too. The gentleman behind the counter - the owner, I'm sure - is friendly and helpful. Love this little gem of a store. read more
