No matter how many questions or what we requested was too big, too small, or ever seemed troubling. The teamwork and professionalism here is IMPECCABLE AND OUTSTANDING! Kimberly, Laura, and her entire staff are professional and amazing individuals who truly care about you and they put their all into our family to ensure the services ran smoothly and honorably. No matter what hour of the day or night they were there for us. Robb, Maria and Carter were phenomenal in helping us find my brother's final resting place at Woodlawn Gardens Cemetery . Every and any question always had a solutions no matter how many steps they went through behind the scenes to make it happen. Who would have ever thought a funeral home could be so comforting. This is the hardest thing my family and I will ever go through and the amazing team at Woodlawn Funeral Home and Woodlawn Gardens Cemetery made a true and everlasting impact on us during those dark days. There isn't enough time or words to praise these amazing individuals. Thank you so much Woodlawn for being our rose that grew from concrete.

There was no service at all no mention of telling other cars to line up in the back telling one car but not others.

Wow, I'm actually writing a review on a funeral home. Losing a loved one is extremely difficult,…read moreand the entire process can be overwhelming. We sought the services of Woodlawn last year when my Aunt passed away, and Liana made the process go smoothly as possible. I couldn't believe how beautiful she looked. Now here we are again, needing their services again, as my grandmother passed away on April 8th. With the issue of COVID-19, things were a little different. We had the pleasure of working with Liana again, and she arranged for a private viewing of my grandmother, where we could view her in groups of 10. We were not able to have a traditional funeral, therefore, a private gravesite funeral was arranged to host my grandmother's Home Going celebration, and it was just as beautiful, just like she was. The grounds of where your loved one will be laid to rest, are simply gorgeous. I hope this review will give someone reassurance that your family will be well taken care of. So with that being said, losing a loved one is never easy, but Woodlawn will make your experience as seamless as possible.

It's a large cemetery that is the final resting place for some of my friend's close family members. One I considered a friend and a great Fantasy Football competitor. The world misses his sense of humor and devotion to his family. The other is a child who never got to grow older and is buried next to his grandfather. The cemetery is well kept. Mowing and removal of dead flowers is regularly done. There is a crypt & a columbarium. The reason for the three star review is the required tombstone design. They are all flat to the ground with a holder in which flowers can be placed. The view from the road only shows the content of the flower holders. This lover of cemeteries prefers standing tombstones of various designs, many of which tell the story of a life. I've visited and photographed cemeteries from Massachusetts to Mississippi and love sharing them on line with family members from afar, who would otherwise never see their ancestors grave. Although Rosewood Memorial Park is immaculately maintained, I've seen many flat tombstones that have become covered with grass and dirt. During my explorations I always take a small hoe & trowel to free the flat tombstone of strangers as much as possible. I'm sure it's a matter of personal preference. But I don't like the aesthetics of a cemetery with only flat tombstones with the only visible part of the grave being the holder for flowers.

Aubrey is in one of the outside facing crypts, per his wishes. Very sad, really, to watch them scissor lift the casket into place, slide it in, then seal it up with caulk and duct tape before covering it back over with the marble. The staff, even the guys not in suits, were appropriately professional and quiet, giving the family plenty of room to grieve while they did what they needed to do.

I attended this location for the home-going services of a family friend. When driving, you must slow down or you'll miss the exit. There is plenty of parking, staff were extremely courteous and accommodating. Each pew had a box of tissues for mourners and the person selected to speak did a phenomenal job. They have a television on the left and right side of the room to allow for viewing of photos that were in a montage of the deceased. Everything was tasteful and timely. Not that I'm looking to give them any business anytime soon; but I do think they are affordable, professional and able to anticipate the needs of a grieving family without price gouging.

When we saw our son at the funeral home he looked like a perfect little boy sleeping. They did his makeup very naturally which is what I really appreciated. The makeup wasn't caked on and it actually made him look more alive than he did at the hospital. Not only that but they dressed him and put him in a swaddle accompanied with a teddy bear. Together my baby boy and the teddy bear looked so cute and I'm so glad they provided that to him because I felt a sense of relief that he wasn't alone. Sometimes it's the little details that matter. My son was beautiful and I want to thank Sheri Mathis for taking care of our son so so well.

On April 15, 2026, they helped us lay my mother to rest, and what they created was nothing short of breathtaking. Every detail--from the release of the doves, to the elegance of the mausoleum, the moving words of the preacher, the gentle touch of the organist, the stunning floral arrangements, the thoughtfully prepared food, and the seamless coordination of transportation--was handled with excellence and grace. It was not just a service; it was a beautiful homegoing celebration worthy of the life my mother lived. What truly set this experience apart was their heart. This team didn't just "do their job"--they walked alongside me. They checked in often, not out of obligation, but out of genuine care, always asking how I wanted to honor my momma. They listened. They guided. They supported. In one of the most difficult moments of my life, they made me feel seen, heard, and held. From the phenomenal ladies at the front office (yes, I absolutely adore you all--go on, girls!) to the dedicated team working behind the scenes, every single person demonstrated professionalism, patience, compassion, and class. Their ability to balance organization with empathy is truly a gift. If this were a performance, every member of this team would deserve an Emmy, a standing ovation, and more. But this wasn't a performance--it was real, sincere, and deeply meaningful service delivered with excellence. Thank you for helping me give my mother the farewell she deserved. You didn't just meet expectations--you exceeded them in every possible way. Bravo to each and every one of you. You are truly remarkable.

Watford after her transition on 7/7/2024. From our phone calls prior to the transition, to the first meeting to discuss the transfer of services from one local company to Beach Funeral Services, we were given the utmost respect and patient consideration for our desire to place our mother in the hands of a caring and thoughtful funeral agency. We arrived at Beach Services with a paid plan from Rosewood Kellam (UGH) and although Beach Services did not offer all of the options that were pre-paid thru the larger corporate funeral group, , Beach Funeral Services and staff matched as many of the options as they feasibly could and surpassed the corporate group in SOOOOO many ways without adding all of the line item cost that can occur with funeral arrangements. Our Mother was treated and handled like she was Queen Elizabeth and looked heavenly. Everything was royally honored. Service impeccable.
