They could not figure out the internet speed, but eventually managed to find that out, and we booked our apartment. We received a booking confirmation and made a payment via paypal, because although they offered credit card payments on their website, they apparently were not able to take them otherwise. We sent the money, and they claimed we had to pay the fees for it, which is against the terms of service of paypal and after all, with credit card, they would have only charged EUR 5 per transactions. I hence told them that I think they should bear the fees. In any case, to secure our reservation, I made a second payment that covered the fees, so we paid all the money including the fees. Then we received an email saying that they want to cancel even though we fulfilled our obligations. If you want a reliable apartment in Berlin, do not work with www.feelslikehome.de because they may cancel at the very last minute. When I told them that there terms didn't give us such a right and that we wanted to keep our reservation, they told us to sew them. Very professional.
