We were going to stay in Berlin for an extended period of time, so we wanted an apartment with a place to cook a bit instead of a hotel. The miniloft came up on google first, and a looked around at other places, but I kept coming back to the miniloft and I'm glad I did. We rented a "classic" one for 3 weeks. It fit our needs perfectly. It was clean, comfortable, in a quiet bit of Mitte but near lots of things to do and ever so convenient to the S-Ban and the tram. There is great food in the area as well as being close to such great things. There are a variety of apartments of difference sizes and prices to meet your needs. The classic we had was stated to be abotu 420 sq ft (42 sq m) but seemed more open and spacious due to the high celling and large windows. The units in the "old" building are off the street more and quieter, but get less sun. But I was extremely happy with the whole feel to it and it was much better than many appartments I actually lived in as a student. The staff is excellent, helpful and friendly. The miniloft guide had great tips, although the restaurant portion needs updating. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the miniloft to friends and family and plan to stay there again on any return trips to Berlin. read more

This was my first time in Berlin, and staying at Miniloft Apartment is definitely a great decision. Great location, Miniloft's team, stylish and elegant apartment! It is very close to public transportation and I can also walk to some key places in Berlin just within few mins away. The staffs are all very responsive in a friendly manner with a lot of helpful information about the city and other stuff . and the room! It is a simple elegant Berlin modern minimalist style, with lots of smart detailings (love!). For me, finding the right place to stay during travelling, is a great deal and for that, I will definitely recommend Miniloft to my fellow friends and family! We had a great experience staying at Miniloft last June! We enjoyed its location in Mitte, great for nice walks suggested in the Miniloft Guide (always in our pocket). We chose the extroverted loft with its great sunny glass windows: it was as if we were soaring over Berlin - an awsome architecture! The location is spot on! Close to the tramp and also subway station. There are couple of nice supermarkets, restaurants and bars nearby. Miniloft is at the happening Mitte, but it's located in a quiet and decent neighborhood. The staffs are really laid back, friendly and helpful. We enjoy the "welcome pack", the German beers and the wine they prepared for us, everything is wonderful, feel like home! Miniloft is minimal, but the room and the building are full of amazing details and tasteful design. Miniloft also designs a fantastic Berlin guide book, it's like a bible to us in Berlin. We had a good sleep and wonderful time at Miniloft. We definitely will return in the future:) read more

I stayed at miniloft for 3 weeks and I was locked out one Sunday early evening until after midnight when the government had an enforced curfew of 11 pm. I had no where to go as I was a visitor to the city and had to get another hotel room for the night with only the clothes on my back. The management was unreachable during the weekend and the emergency number was disconnected. When I returned the following morning and asked for compensation as a form of acknowledgement for this miscommunication I was spoken to defensively without remorse or understanding which then was followed by several emails where the hotel refused to take any responsibility for being unreachable incase of an emergency. I felt unsafe as my well being and that of their guests was not their priority. I would not recommend staying here. read more

Stayed at this wonderful place last year. Went with 3 family members and we all had a great stay here. One room for 4 persons. Nice decorated and the style is minimal futuristic. They have a great rooftop with grass on it and some chairs to sit and chill (don't know if it's private or also for the guests), a beautiful view. The owners are so nice and correct. Never had the chance to go back, but I really recommend the Miniloft! read more

Great place to stay. Such friendly people and great location. If youre coming with kids, there the National history museum just across the street. Lots of eco friendly materials used in building and furnishing the rooms. light, airy, spacious. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance and the personell is very knowledgeble when it comes to giving advice. Prices are fair considering that you have the chance to cook your own meals or have friends over for a drink. some lofts sleep up to 5 people, good for groups. come and enjoy what the city has to offer from a great location. read more
