I never write reviews especially bad ones. In this case I had to make an exception. My wife needed a new phone so we stopped in to see what they were offering. He went on to tell me he knew my father who just passed away. That my father was his customer. So I figured he was trust worthy. I said I just need a phone for my wife. He went on to tell me I could get 2 new phones an IPad and an appl watch for just $209 a month. I thought that was more than I wanted to spend but sounded like a decent deal. A month later I get my bill $277 a month! I couldn't believe my eyes. My heart sank. I thought okay I got ripped off shame on me. Now a year later they want to raise my will by $10 a line on 4 lines! I spent the next 3 hours on the phone with customer service. They couldn't understand why the deal was put in this way. They said it should have been a family plan for $140!! Now I am on hold trying to get a refund for $1400 for over paying for the last year. So the bottom line is they are INCOMPETENT and UNTRUSTWORTHY. If you want to buy a phone at the very least don't use this location. BUYER BEWARE! read more

I arrived at the store with another gentleman. Even though I entered the store before him, the first representative took the gentleman behind me, and I ended up waiting for an extended period for the bearded AT&T representative to acknowledge me. After about 7 minutes, I announced myself, and the bearded rep finally walked over. He claimed to be the manager, although I highly doubted it based on his casual attire - a grey t-shirt and huge khaki-colored bell-bottom pants that seemed outdated. Despite my simple request, this "manager" blocked it at every turn, refusing to provide any customer service. Frustrated, I eventually left. This experience was the final straw, and I'm relieved to no longer be associated with AT&T. Over-priced service and under-professional representatives. read more

What a waste of a store, went in there yesterday to upgrade. There was two staff in the location at the time and the gentleman genuinely seemed upset that I interrupted his conversation to ask for assistance. After telling said gentleman I'd like to upgrade, instead of providing me service he just goes in a nasty tone "why switch bro just wait for the 16 it's only a couple of more months" very unpleasant experience I'll continue to conduct business elsewhere like bestbuy as I don't have to deal with the staff at this location read more

purchased a new iPhone from AT&T online could not get all of the pictures to transfer from one phone to the other made an appointment to go to AT&T went there. The sales associate told me oh I don't know why it won't transfer. There must be something wrong with the new phone you must go to Apple so I went to Apple. It took them a whole 15 minutes to transfer everything and all they had to do was reset the phone so as far as a review on I think they better educate their sales people on problems that could arise when purchasing a new phone . definitely not the type of service I would expect from AT&T read more

I was with At&t for more than 10 yrs... Last two years I wasn't satisfied at all..!! when i got my new iPhone 6 Plus at this store... This guy told me i can have free tablet with the phone and just pay extra 10 dollars more so i did... Year later i went back to the store and told them i want to disconnect my tablet and they told me I can't becuz i have to pay for two years contract.. Of course I didn't know about two yrs contract becuz this guy(he is not there any more!) never explained fully~~!!! Ok~!! I decided to just use it one more year~!! Today~ my two year contract is over so i went to disconnect my tablet... I had to wait 10 minutes... Finally some guy name BRYAN came out from the back and called my name and i said that's me... He came to me and just stood there~~~!!! With out saying "hi" or "how r you~" "how can i help you?" Or something to greet a customer ~!!!!! Anyway i told him im here to disconnect my tablet and he said he can't help me~!! I have to call at&t myself~! Ok~!! I asked him why every time i come to this store no body can help me and tell me what i should do~!! He said he can't help me~!!! Why is he there? He was very nasty and rude ~!!! He never said hi to customer and he never smiled ~!! He walked away YELLING at me saying he doesn't want to help me becuz im complaining ~!! Ok~!! This is what i did~!! The AT&T rep struggled to put a screen protector on my Galaxy s21. It's not rocket science. They don't even use a soft cloth to put under your new expensive phone to protect it from scratches from their table while doing the work. When he finished there were bubbles under the screen saver. He admitted the work was bad and didn't charge me and he removed it. Unfortunately that was the only one they had in stock. Poor customer service lack of finesse when executing tasks. They need to keep more items in stock. Take your business elsewhere. read more

Under no circumstances should two employees EVER SCREAM at a customer for not realizing something that it was THEIR JOB to tell the customer anyway. I will never enter this store again except for to get the names of the two people who yelled at me while I was buying a phone. They didn't make a certain fee known to me when I'd asked about something prior when doing my research before I bought my new phone. Instead of taking responsibility -- they YELLED at me for a good 5 minutes all over some charge that they should have told me about prior but didn't. The shocking part of it was they went so far as to insult me repeatedly and my intelligence in front of everyone in the store. (To which I simply rolled my eyes bc it was quite clear they were the ones with the intelligence problem bc they simply couldn't grasp that if you don't tell someone something, they won't know about it.) The not so shocking thing, though, was that this must be a rather common occurrence because NOT ONE EMPLOYEE turned around or looked up despite almost everyone Shopping in the store looking quite shocked at these unpleasant women yelling at a customer...who didn't tell back. I'm NOT Psychic. If you don't tell me about a fee nor is it listed anywhere I'm the store, nor was it even mentioned when I specifically asked about what I had been planning to do....then I am not expected to know about it. Period. Even if by some chance I was reasonably expected to know about it -- yelling at your customers? That's bad form. Please, ladies, learn some class. My poor friend who was with me says she's not shocked bc she's dealt with this store before was quite upset with the fact they were yelling (not just bc it was rude but bc it was overwhelming) that she almost walked out of the store. I almost did too. Eventually I ended the argument by telling them to drop it (to which they had a nasty comeback) and I just left it at that. They went right back to pretending nothing happened. It must be nice to be able to yell at people you don't like at work....even if they've done nothing wrong and they are buying a very expensive product. Sheesh. I never saw so many disgruntled employees in one place before. You can tell they are contemptuous of the customers. Poor customer service reigns supreme. The same thing used to happen at the Time Warner Cable store and look at them now. This place will phase out eventually too. I am extremely surprised there's a five star review for this place... I came here multiple times...walking out with disappointment on my face...they don't know what they are doing... I don't even know why I bother comeing here and ask if they can fix a certain issue for my phone...what they do best here is to call customer service or even google the situation.... I can google the situation too... I don't you help me google stuff... What i need is for AT&T to help me answer certain questions and help fix certain issues with my phone or even my AT&T plan... Not so hard right?!? Expically when it's your freaken job... Good size for an AT&T store...located inside the Staten Island mall... This location is overpacked and very busy.. I didn't see enough staff to service me and help me with my issues.. I waited a few minutes to get greeted and then was help by a greeter.. Who fixed my simply problem.. But did confused and their new change in plans.. Which I was distressed about and left rudely. read more

Just tired of At&t..I am a customer. .and have been one for 8 years. .and they don't care. .it doesn't matter. .they charge hidden fees monthly. .won't remove them. .signed me up for things I didn't agreee too ...I spend countless hours arguing with them. .they Jane no interest in keeping me and my family as a customer.. they have terrible data plans. .I truly hope no one who tags this EVER does business wroth at&t ..you will regret it. ..good luck read more

Go to any att&t store but this one they are either con artists or they have no idea what they are doing. Went in to get upgrades on two phone lines on our bill. Their contracts were up and w were eligible for new phones under the contract price and we were told that we would have to pay an additonal $40.00 a month for this which was completely untrue and also were told that we would have to activate the phones now even thou they are gifts which again was untrue. I know many people with stories like this, it seriously makes me wonder if they get kick backs for screwing over customers. read more
