I would give this store even less than a one star if I could. My husband and I have been AT&T customers for over five years, and our monthly bill runs over $300 a month throughout those 5 plus years.
Ok, I get why our bill is so high, I have no complaints about that, however, I do have a complaint about this particular shop. Last weds (Nov 21, 2018) my husband and I went into this shop to have our current AT&T cell phone service transferred to the new phone we purchased from AT&T online ( the rep online told us that all we needed to do was go to our nearest AT&T shop and have the techs there do the transfer). We arrived and upon arrival, the person at the door told us someone will be with us shortly that we are second in line for a representative to assist us. Ok, no problem. My husband and I took a seat and waited and waited some more (near an hour). During our wait, we witnessed a number of new customers arrive at the shop and get immediate service. Meanwhile, we sat there waiting. No one approached us to ask why we were there, or inform us that it may take some time till they could get to us, or even advise us in any way.
After waiting for some time I decided to approach the tech window and ask why we were, in essence, being ignored. I pointed out that customers were coming and going who had arrived after we arrived, and since we were informed that we were second in the queue why weren't we being helped. The three men in the tech window then asked if I had an appointment. I stated "no" I was then informed that I would have to wait until someone was free to assist me once they finished their appointments. I asked did I need an appointment? They said "no" but I would still have to wait and it may be a while since they were short-handed and with the holidays they were overworked. (Of course, all three of them were in the office and appeared not to be helping anyone, while they waited for there "appointments").
Going back to my husband we made the decision to leave and to alert others not to use this shop because of their terrible customer service, and to advise people to take their money elsewhere. The bottom line, in our humble opinion, is this shop has NO customer service of any kind and have no regard for AT&T customers or potential customers.
In addition, we feel that as long time AT&T customers we believe this shop could use training in how to work with AT&T customers (I am sure the corporation has training days). because if this is the level of customer service that AT&T turns a blind eye too, it will start hitting their bottom line because I have no doubt that there a number of customers like us who pay out $300 plus a month who could take our business elsewhere and get better service, at a lower cost. Something I am planning to do. read more
