Today, I arrive at the AT&T store in Derby, KS. Located at 2901 N Rock Rd Ste 1300, Derby, KS 67037. I ask to speak with the manager, Eric. Cody tells me he has no way of getting a hold of Eric or Stacy (District Manager), then proceeds to help another customer. I ask another employee, Aubry & ask if she can help me. She says yes and sits at my table & I begin to explain the situation to her. Within seconds of speaking, Cody decides to stand up from his chair and begins yelling and accusing me of saying something false. I quickly interrupted him and told him to help his customer and what I am speaking with Aubry is no longer his business. He gets emotionally upset and then yells me to leave the store or he will call the police because he would not allow Aubry to speak to me. Aubry, the customers, and myself were in shock of the crappiest service I have ever witnessed from an employee. I left the store, made a recording of what took place, then proceeded to the corporate store in Wichita to speak with the manager there, Andrew. He made some calls, sent an email to superiors, to expedite this issue to be fixed. Andrew had a difficult time getting a hold of Stacy so he sent an email to him, along with his superior and I am currently waiting on a callback to see what is being done with the first account. All I am asking is confirmation that nothing is owed on a cancelled account that has my name on it. Having worked in many professional fields, regardless of what position you are in, nobody deserves to be treated like I did today from Cody. Aubry, the customer in the store, along with the cameras, are my witness to this event. I initially wanted to file a complaint to get him re trained on speaking to customers. After his disrespect and threatening to call police so my issue (that an AT&T employee mistakenly made) cannot be solved and I'd be forced to take a hit on my credit report. I am calling for Codys relocation to another store or termination. I am standing by for AT&T leadership to get involved in this matter. read more

I went there yesterday and a guy name Cody helped me, he lied about everything. I was updating my phone and he said I would be paying $15 a month guaranteed with a trade in. He promised a receipt, but didn't put it in the box like he said. Althought he was helping me, he stopped to help 3 other people all while making me wait while I was there first without no explanation, he could have said let me help these folks here because it will take longer to hel pyou get your ph one, but he didn't. I was actually about to leave the store and I wish I did. He told me that the privacy screen protector came with me phone. Does that cost, extra I asked, he said no. He didn't pritn the receipt. I call AT and T when I get home and I see that he charged me $55 for the privacy screen protector when I said I didn't want anyting extra and he said it was free and it was not. I also found out that with my trade it that it will be $20.96 extra, which is not the guaranteed $15. This happened 3 years go when I went to the store, the associate told me that all the air buds were free due to a special, but I was later charged over 36 months for them. This store and it's management liars and very deceitful. I am going to the store today to return everyyhing and going to go with Verizon. If a larger man named Cody offered to help you, go elsewhere!!! I give them a -10 for deception and since this happened 3 years ago when I went there, I am done with AT and T completely. l complained about this before and no one did anything. read more

By far the Worst AT&T store known to mankind. 2 employees on the phone and did not great me as the only customer in the store. I was on Hold put my phone on the table and one of the Employees ended my call with Customer Service without permission. DISGUSTED with this store, called to talk to a manager and would not take my call. DO NOT WASTE your time with this store. Verizon and Sprint may cost more, but they will actually listen to you and your concerns. read more

Location charges extra fees. Bought my son his new iPhone at this location to make sure he got it on time for his birthday. They charged $10 for SIM card. AT&T credited the $10 back to our account. They tried to charge additional $20 for not returning an old phone. We protested this and they said "Somebody brought in a bunch of old phones so we'll use one of them." Contacted AT&T and found out all these charges were extra "BS". Avoid this location. Go to a more reputable dealer in Wichita. read more

I have had a horrible experience with AT and T. The rep who signed me up for my new phone was new. She didn't know anything. She told me I could get the $50 plan, which was a special. It took 3 hours for me in the wstore with her to sign up for a cell phone. She didn't know anything. She had to keep calling other associates and chatting with them to get help and answers. Anyway, I signed up for the $50 and then was told that to get my employee discount, I had to sign up for the $70 plan. She added all my accessories up and told me I could pay $336 today. I asked her was that all, did that include all of my items, I didn't want to pay an extra installment fee. She said yes. I figured I got a discount on the phone and all products, they had a sale on items. I didn't get a receipt, she said that they couldn't print it. I was told that the air pods come with the phone. I get my receipt via email a few days later. I was charged for the air bubs, no employee discount and I still owed another $386 or so for the accessories. I was told that the $366 was including everything. I was told the air buds come with the phone, but was charged $`143.10 for them. I call the store manager Friday 8/27, he said I will call you back in 2 hours. He didn't. I call him back, he was with a customer, he said I will call you back Saturday at 10am. I called him at 1045, he said he hadn't figured anything out. He would call my back He didn't. I call Tuesday and he said he was waiting for his supervisor to help him resolve it. He said everything was sei. I asked what about the air buds I don't want and the accessories I was told that the $336 was all. Then he said call back tomorrow and he would be able to help. I call back Wed and he is off. The lady who answered the phone said he said he had already resolved the issue. She would have him call me back Thursday. I call back Thursday, he is with a customer, he will call back, no call back, I call back today 9/4/2020, he is with a customer, he will call back in 20 minutes. It has beena hour and no call yet. He promised me he would have this resolved by Tuesday 9/1/2020. It is still not resolved. I would give this store a -10. I am now stuck with a product I dont want and was lied to even by the store manager, this is ridiculous. read more

We switched to AT&T about 2 years ago because they were the most inexpensive option on the market. However, ever since then, it's been nothing but awful customer service, lies, and terrible service. We have moved 3 times since first starting, and every time we move, they would give us a completely new account, instead of rolling everything over, and every time they started a new account, they would STOP the auto payments I had set up. Which would in turn, cause late fees that I would have to call in and contest and ask them to set up my auto payment AGAIN. However, due to the terrible automated telephone service and the terrible customer service, these conversations would take more of my busy day than I have time for. Our most recent move was from Fort Worth, TX (where we had Direct DSL service that would constantly drop and have to reset itself-such a pain) to Wichita, KS where they said our only internet option is U-Verse internet. They said it would only be a $5 increase in cost, so I said "Ok, sure, that's not bad" considering I was only paying $25 a month for the direct dsl. The U-Verse seems to have served us better, as far as quality of service, however, we never received a bill until we received a disconnection notice for late payment. The outstanding amount seemed high, but I paid it to avoid the disconnection, and then asked to speak to a representative about why my bill was $13 more a month than I was informed it would be. They said I was paying full price for the service, and that I was not on promotion. Why would I not be on promotion? And I know I didn't agree to almost doubling my previous amount. When she said that she'd transfer me to retention to see what they could do for me, or what promotion I'd be eligible, I was on hold with VERY loud music, then the annoying automated voice came on the line and said "Good-bye." And my call was disconnected. I've had ENOUGH. What I've outlined is only the most recent of terrible service we've received, others include cancelling service calls, failing to connect service on time (had to wait 3 weeks for first set up, 1 week on next move), to name just a couple more. I know that AT&T may seem like the most inexpensive option on the market, but be ready to have to work for it by constantly calling them to get them to correct their mistakes. It's more hassle than it's worth, and we'll be looking to switch as soon as possible. read more

I've been to the Derby ATT store several times in the last few years as my daughters switch to new phones with different size sim cards. Even though I usually get the phones from Amazon the ATT guys have always given me new sim cards and helped transfer contacts etc at no charge. Been there twice in the last month and Jase helped me both times, staying with it till the job was done. The guys greeted every one as they came in the door and held the door for us when we left. read more

i would give no stars. first and last time in this store. i entered the store to pay my bill, there were 2 persons working and 2 prior customers being helped. one was on the phone and the other was transferring data from one phone to another. i stood there for 20 mins and wasn't looked at, or talked to. i was invisible to them. no welcome to at&t, no i'll be with you in a moment. nothing. i didn't have any more time to just stand there so i walked out. i will never be there again. if this turns out to be the only store in the wichita-derby-haysville area, i will colse my att account that i have had for 15 years and go to another wireless carrier! i have never been treated so rudely by an att store and i called att and told them so. read more
