Salesman was Unprofessional, rude, cocky, and impatient. He kept trying to upsell unwanted products and services and he got visibly and vocally frustrated when declined. Talked down to you like you were stupid for not knowing how much memory was on your phone. We ended up walking out and ordered the new phones online. Made a complaint to the store manager before leaving and she acted like she didn't want to help or even cared about the employees behavior. I have been in this location many times over the years and they were always nice and helpful but the new staff does not represent AT&T's core values and professionalism. Just save yourself the time and order online. Been a loyal AT&T customer for 10+ years but will probably take my 4 lines to a different provider next time. Because negative 1 star was not an option.... Delayed review from setting up service in May 2019. Delayed because I was hoping to give them a break, but now a year later I find out that one of our lines NEVER had insurance. Do not go here as a public safety member trying to establish FirstNET service. The reps in the store were CLUELESS about the program provided by AT&T. First they couldn't do the ID validation necessary to enroll in a public safety only account, then when they did they sent us home with the SIM card for the regular AT&T network not the FIRSTNET network. Returned that card and fast forward a month and the billing was so screwed up it took six months to fix. We were on a plan for 44.99 a month and out monthly bill was over 150 a month for six months for ONE line of service Finally got all the credits issued, device installment plan paid off early and can read the bill without sorting through 18 lines of crap. Only now do I find out that they never added the insurance! Called customer care and they say the time frame has expired and they are not certain they will be able to add the device to a plan. They cannot VALIDATE that it is operable. Horrible store, always waiting for hours on end even with an appointment, even prior to COVID and took 2 hours on first trip and three more subsequent trips to set up new service and IT STILL WAS NOT DONE RIGHT!!! I was in the Aberdeen, NC store to reset my pin. I tried going through outsource but could not understand the person I was in contact with, so nothing was accomplished. We should be able to talk to someone we understand. Nevertheless, in the Aberdeen store, I was helped by a young man called Marcus. He was with me for 1 1/2 hours trying to get in contact with the right person. They kept referring him to someone else. At one point they were very rude but he kept his composure. He finally got to someone who could help and the problem was fixed. He is a person we should have more of. He was very calm and very pleasant to me even though it was very stressful trying to get the information I needed. He is someone who should be rewarded. ***** read more

I took my elderly dad to this store so he could turn off my recently deceased mom's phone. She died 10 days prior and my dad traveled 150 miles so I could help him with this task. The store manager told him his copy of her death certificate was not sufficient and he needed to show her the original certified copy. She stated she did not need it for files but so she knew we were being truthful. My dad had her PURSE with him and all the passcodes. We left without a phone & without transferring service She had zero compassion for my dad & it was just a sad & disappointing experience. I will never return to this store and I am thankful to have Verizon on my phone. Zero stars. I only picked one but it's the lowest option. read more

Originally, I called customer service regarding an account issue. That was a complete waste of time. Apparently you need to be a complete moron to work in the call center because the two people I talked to were NAILING IT! I ended up driving over an hour and a half to the store our phones were purchased so I could have someone explain my bill. The young man was quick to check me in but when I told him what I was there for...he said "oh the XR issue? I'm going to let you wait for the representative that assisted you because I don't want to get involved with that"...OKKKKKK?! That particular rep was assisting another family and didn't even acknowledge my existence, although we made eye contact and more importantly, I'd texted him to inform him I was leaving Raleigh headed to the Aberdeen location to discuss the extra XR phone listed on my bill...the XR I didn't have or had ever owned. It'd obviously been discussed since the young man didn't want anything to do with the situation. I waited for approximately 45 min...the whole time watching the employees interaction with customers. What I noticed was a woman that was very patient and professional with every customer she assisted. I told her I wished she could help me and she asked me to explain what was going on and she LISTENED! She looked into my account and explained what was going on in a thorough and detailed manner! She was AMAZING! She's literally the only reason I'll continue to do business with AT&T...period. HER NAME IS DIANA DOLCE and she needs to be a trainer or in management because she has what it takes to work in sales and in customer service!!! I wouldn't give even one star but the system wouldn't let me write the review without awarding a star. Waited FOUR HOURS in the store to sign up for business service that was so fouled up that our entire package of phones went down two days later. Bills have been screwed up three months in a row and managers won't talk on the phone. Nobody answers the phone in this place, and nobody fixes the problem. We've now waited two hours in the store to talk to a manager. They had given us incentives to sign up for DirecTV and after the installers stiffed is for three straight appointments, the bill was twice the promised rate - another afternoon fighting on the phone because of AT&T ineptitude. This is the most dysfunctional business I've even encountered. read more

Absolutely fantastic customer service! My wife and I went in for new mobile phones, and Michael quickly outlined (and showed, all demo phones on the floor are fully functional as opposed to just having a sticker on the face that shows what the display looks like when turned on) the differences between the latest Droid phones and the iPhone so that we could make an informed decision. Once that was complete, he quickly transferred over all the data from our old phones and got the paperwork done. He even made sure that our original Unlimited Data Plan was grandfathered in so that we weren't stuck with the current plans that limit the amount of data downloaded per month. To top it off, the manager broke away from the customer he was with to make sure that everything was just right. I walked in the store today and asked for a refund for our phones since the price of the iPhone 4S dropped by $100 with the announcement of the the iPhone 5 release next week. Without any hassle, I was quickly credited $200 on our bill, and again the manager was right there with the saleswoman making sure that I was satisfied (in spite of the store being busy again). There are a lot of choices when it comes to wireless phones and services, but I am more than satisfied that the customer service provided makes up for any $5 or $10 discount that you might find somewhere else. read more

I made an appointment on your website for Saturday Nov. 13 @ 10AM. When i arrived there were several people standing out side waiting for the store to open. shortly after 10, you let this first group inside. I followed them and was inside for my appointment in less than 1 minute. i saw that all of the people ahead of me were already being helped. After a few minutes, someone came up and asked the lady standing next to me who's next? I answered that she was ahead of me (walking into the store) but, as I had checked the monitor) I said I was #1 (on the board.) I expected to be attended to ahead of all the walk-ins. That did not happen. I waited patiently for over 30 minutes. finally a man came over and asked if I was Philip? I said yes and we proceeded to take care of my request. He was helpful, but needed to seek help from another employee in order to finish. Why did I bother making an appointment when all of the walk-ins (none if whom were listed before me on the board) were waited on first? What I expected was that the store manager would have waited a moment or two and then asked for the people with appointments to id themselves and those people should have been taken care of first. Customers who make appointments should (by nature of) be attended to ahead of those walk-ins. I am not happy about the way things were handled at this location. despite it's convenient location to me, I will consider going to another AT & T store in the future. read more

i consider my time very valuable, and if i am dealing with someone else, their time absolutely always supersedes my time. i feel that honesty, integrity, and manners are the foundations of customer service. with that being stated, the at&t corporate store in aberdeen, nc does not and probably will never display any of these qualities previously mentioned. after 3.5 hours on the phone yesterday disputing a refund i was due, i lost hope in the 1-800 number circus and took my concerns to be dealt with in person. upon arrival, an arrogant and skill-less assistant store manager greeted myself, and after talking briefly with him, he connected me to the 1-800 circus again, leaving me clearly to the wolves. not once in the 3 hours i was there on the phone did he check on me, as he took it upon himself to take a two and a half hour lunch. next, after waiting an additional hour to see the store manager, she finally decided to show her face to inquire about my problem. cassandra wall displayed the most dishonest and selfishness behavior i have ever dealt with in my 20 years of being a professional individual. instead of making a situation she agreed with better, she in-turn made the situation that much more difficult and time consuming. lacking the slightest amount of people skills ever known to mankind, she then "passed" me off to her supervisor, allyson (i would include the last name, but unfortunately ms wall possess the same skill in handwriting, as she does in customer service) who again said there was nothing she could do. so after 8 hours of my time, 4 of which was spent in the store, not one employee, not one person in management (cassandra and the asm elias) could help me with a very simple and direct complaint. ultimately, after leaving the store, i was still lacking the $350 i was owed, but the worst of the situation wasn't in the money, but the lack of respect and dignity i was shown. if you ever, i repeat ever, need a solution, a simple solution dealing with customer service and honesty resolved, i woyld advise you to avoid this store at all costs necessary. from allyson to cassandra, to elias, down to every employee at the aberdeen location, you will find nothing there than utter disrespect and an overload of untruthful answers. i would again like to thank the staff at the aberdeen store for doing everything but spitting into my face, which actually would have been less painful and stressful then the treatment i was provided. again, avoid this location much like the plague, as you will experience nothing but headaches and a tragic loss of time!!!!!!! read more

I had a problem with the AT&T Android phone and my brother had a solution, just use the Apple 5S phone that his daughter no longer used. That was fine but she was a day sleeper and we couldn't reach her for the Apple ID and password. The technician we used, Dylan, transferred all the Android information and contacts but couldn't transfer Android Apps to this Apple Iphone since they were incompatible. Well, lucky for me my sister-in-law had her old Apple Iphone available, but she too couldn't provide the Apple ID and password. Dylan was very helpful and quick to load all the information from my Android not once but TWICE, and was very patient with us old folks who weren't very Iphone literate. read more

Quick service. Agents are waiting for you to walk in the door and are very helpful. Good store organization, with all of their devices displayed and available for test-drives. Clean and well-lit. In my experience, the agent I worked with was somewhat pushy, but the issue was complicated and the agent turned out to be mostly correct when all was said and done. read more
