Poor guy, he was so depressed. All of that changed when he started going to Schelastic Academy. What a positive, safe environment it was for him. He worked hard, he persevere and grew into a wonderful young man. This school works with the kids so they feel loved and accepted. And their education programs thru the computer is self paced, but they do need to keep on top of their studies. I have enjoyed and love this school for my grandson. Our oldest son just graduated after finishing his last two years here, and our only regret is not finding this school sooner. Schelastic is Christian-based, super supportive, and really focuses on what each student needs. The curriculum is tailored to them, and they can work at their own pace, which helped so much when life got busy or we needed to travel. The staff truly cares, and Dr. Galindo, who started the school for her own kids after years in public education, has built something really special. Plus, it's way more affordable than most other private schools around here. If you're looking for a school where your child can thrive academically and personally, give Schelastic a serious look. They do different things throughout the year like auctions and a ride of champions. The ride of champions is where the kids get to show off their talents and they get awards and lots of praise. We are at the tail end of the program and are glad that we took time for this program. We slacked on the daily exercises at home, but we still saw great progress in her emotional control and balance. It's definitely not a cheap program, but to us, investing in our child is worth more than any material things we could buy. So we are pleased with our results so far.

After paying the deposit, we were locked in and then told the Fort Worth branch had different owners and we would not be able to go there. My son had to move in with his Dad this year, due to a terrible bullying situation at his school last year. There is no way for him to attend the Mansfield office and I can not even get the owners to call me back after several attempts to reach out to them. I am now paying over $5000 for a service we can not use. I would not recommend this place to anyone who could possibly move after attending only class.
