I've had nothing but good experiences with my Asus laptop. I bought it less than a year ago. It is pretty sturdy and I love the touch screen feature. Plus, like with all Asus laptops, it's basically "plug and play." Everything was going well until I saw this line/break on the screen. :( Of course, I went to look for a service center in Megamall.
Yes, there is a Asus service drop-off center in Megamall. They informed me that they will receive Asus notebooks and Eee PCs. Then, these units will then be sent out to Asus Authorized Service Providers for diagnosis and repair. Sadly, that will take about a month before you get you laptop back. That was too long for me not to have my personal laptop. Thankfully, another store told me that I should go directly to ASUS World to have my laptop repaired.
At ASUS World, I explained what were the problems with my laptop and showed them the receipt with warranty. After filling up a few papers, the representative told me that they would contact me when my laptop was ready for pick up. Guess what, after 3 days, I receive a notice telling me my laptop has been repaired. They had to change the screen and, after diagnostics, repaired a few parts. Since it was still under warranty, I did not have to pay for anything! Woohoo! :D
I am happy with the center's convenient location and efficient staff. They even told me that I am still under warranty until June 2016! All in all, I have nothing negative to say about ASUS World's services. :) read more
