Visited Devon from New Jersey and stayed for a week at one of the two very comfortable cottages. The skies are very dark and fortunately clear for star viewing through the two telescopes. Tony took us on a tour of the messier objects and on the second night mounted my camera on the 7" which tracked to one pixel. I got a great shot of the Andromeda galaxy and m101. It is very quiet and of course the roads are the narrow Devon lanes with vehicle passing places. All in all a good vacation for those looking for dark skies. Many thanks! read more
