West Brom suffers (as so many Black Country towns do) from a lack of larger high street chain stores and instead an over-abundance of charity shops. Whilst I love rummaging through charity shop finds, sometimes I just want to go somewhere where I know reliably they'll have something I'm after - and ideally in my size.
That's why Astle Park is pretty awesome. Yes - it has big chain stores like Next, Nike, Gap and M&S - but these are all factory outlet stores, so prices have been massively slashed. It sits at one end of the high street, so as the parking is incredibly cheap you can stop here, scour the outlets, nip down the high street to check out some smaller shops, get back to your car and still only have spent £1.50 on parking.
