From the moment I walked in, I felt something I rarely experience at a doctor's office -- welcomed. She has a warmth that immediately puts you at ease, making you feel like a person, not just another appointment. Most visits feel rushed (in and out, minimal conversation). Dr. Ghazi is the complete opposite. She took the time to listen, explain, and educate without ever making me feel pressured. I really need to update my review, I'm still seeing the PA in this office and things have gotten much, much better over the years. The wait time isn't so bad anymore and I'm never rushed out of there. Debbie the PA takes her time with you to listen to your concerns and also voices her concerns to you about your health. They get back to you right away if they see any issues with any of your lab work. I haven't had a regular doctor in 20 years, I thought since I just turned 50 maybe it's time to find one after looking through my insurance book and calling a bunch where the person making appointments were not very friendly, I finally found associates MD. I saw Dr Maria Jaimes she was very friendly I had a 3 minute wait which was great. The office was clean. They do teledoctor which I will take advantage of one day. And best of all they have an app which is easy to use, I can see my blood results, make appointments, and everything's else! read more

I have been trying to reach this office for the past few days to let them know I have a tumor in my kneecap and that would hinder the stress test today at noon. I finally had a call back today, the day of my tests (Stress and Echo) and the lady that answered said she would cancel the stress test and do my echo at noon. Expecting just the ECHO, I show up to my appointment in slippers because of the swelling in my legs and feet. It's supposed to be a $40 copay for both tests because it's one office visit. I'm told to try to do stress test anyways when I get here for my noon appointment. I do my best but mind you, I have a tumor in kneecap and I am in slippers. I am not able finish stress test. I am told to have a seat and wait on Echo. As I am walking out the door, receptionist tells me to come back at 2pm for Echo and I will need to pay another copay. Do not come here. Incompetence the duration of me being a patient. If I could give a 0 star, I would. By the way, never received refund for the stress test that should have never taken place. read more

I barely leave reviews but I felt like I had to speak up. Every single time I have come here there has been an issue. They let me wait in the lobby for an hour before telling me they didn't have the instrument for the sleep study and I'd have to reschedule. Why didn't you check that the day before? I come for the rescheduled sleep study and they inform me that day that I have to return the instrument by 9AM the next day. They never told me that previously so now I have to last minute take off work to return the machine. Had they told me I would have booked it on a day were I had both mornings available. They took a month to get back to me about whether I would need to re do my labs despite the fact that I called at least three times a week to follow up. They always say they will "escalate to the manager" and that they will get back to you but they never call back. Awful place. Awful service. No respect for your time. Had appointment for simple blood draw at 8am. They check you in and ask for payment. Now sitting waiting for 45 mins so far because the person to draw this specific blood is late. I would give zero stars if I could. We are extremely disappointed in Dr. Zelch. My family member was seen by this doctor a few times. I attended the visit the last two times, and my family member is on 11 medications prescribed by doctors in the past. We asked Dr. Zelch if he should remain on them, he didnt know and said he inherited the patient with the scripts and did want to change it at that time, which was mid April. On May 3, 2022 we met with the neuro doctor referred to us and he advised he didnt have enough info and documentation to recommended a procedure. I contacted Dr. Zelch office on May 3, 2002 to explain what he said and to let the doctor know. Today was a follow up with Dr. Zelch. For the past 13 days since May 3, 2022, no one called me back or advised paperwork was sent to the neuro doctor and we should follow up with him. I explained to Dr. Zelch that no one is taking the lead for this patient, and that the primary doctor should, his reply was he is a primary doctor not a social worker. I tried to explain to him that no one is getting back to us, he was so offended, his picked up his laptop and said he would send in the office manager to handle things. The office manager came in to try to defend the Dr, after listening to all the concerns, he left the room and was apologenic and said how sorry he was over and over. Then the nurse came in whom I spoke to on May 3 (note: Dr. Zelch tried to tell me I didnt call on May 3, which after he read the notes realized i did). she explained paper work was sent to neuro but she didnt know if they received hospital records and was going to send again. I suggested they call the neuro doc to see if he received everything instead of just sending. Dr. Zelch came back in and instead of reading ALL the notes before he walked into the room, a 2nd time he read them in front of us. He said the neuro doctor has everything he needs, and he implied that I must have misunderstood the neuro doctor. I tried to stay calm because I KNEW neuro did not have all the paperwork because if he did he would have scheduled a follow up. He also implied that this was not about me, which I already knew. It was about communication and collaboration so we can figure out what to do, that I was concerned that in a month there is no clear direction and I feel the primary doctor should do something. Dr. Zelch then said that my expectations were too high. I was blown away by these comments. He was insulted by my comments holding him accountable then decided to insult me. Then, I mentioned about the 11 scipts being taken, and said even the neuro doc asked if they were necessary. Dr. Zelch replied that topic has nothing to do with our discussion. In my opinion, he was more interested in defending himself instead of taking the lead to collaborate and help us. It was a 2nd waste of time visit, nothing got done. After the visit today, I called the neuro doc, they called me back and they STILL DO NOT HAVE ALL THE TEST RESULTS/PAPERWORK NEEDED TO make a recommendation so Dr. Zelch office never confirmed with neuro, he just told us they had all the paperwork needed. I would not recommend this doctor unless you are 100% healthy already. He may have alot of patients but not much patience in my opinion and could not handle constructive criticism at all. I am a concerned family member, and I want answers not defensive deameanor. He even commented on something to me saying he already responded "12 times", which was embellished and not accurate at all. So my family member left, still taking 11 medications under Dr. Zelch watch as his primary, he has no idea if these are even necessary or not, he has had 3 visits over 1.5 months to evaluate that topic. Now we need a new primary since Dr. Zelch told my family member he cant be his Dr. anymore. Thank you Dr. Zelch. read more

I'm writing this review so hopefully no one else will have to go through the disappointment and frustration of wasting their money,time, and most importantly risking their health by seeking competent medical care at the Davie location. So you can make an appointment and be seen by a doctor or a nurse practitioner. There doesn't seem to be a problem getting appointments.But it all falls apart after that. If you require a referral for a specialist or prescription refills you will make endless calls With no results or even the courtesy of a Return call. After finally getting my referrals weeks ahead of time for the appointments the specialist as well as myself requested the appropriate records be sent to make a diagnosis. No records were sent so the appointment was a total waste of time and money for me. The specialist called me today expressing the need for additional info to make an informed diagnosis. I called to request This and Dr. Rosen's nurse chastised me for not Asking for it the day before when I was there. I Received the request today. Never have I been treated so rudely by a medical care "professional " Next I was assured the office manager KELLY Would definitely be reaching out to me before the end of the day.Nothing. Another doctor gone. I just received the notice via email. If you're looking for continuity in care, this aint the place. They change personnel like changing socks. Especially the doctors. I cant imagine why. If they were poor doctors, why did they hire them in the first place? The accolades were heaped upon him when he was hired. Since there is no answer forthcoming, I imagine that they're avoiding accountability. You know how it is. The guy that got fired is responsible for whatever occurred prior to his dismissal. That's fine for the coffee shop but not my medical care. The patient portal is a joke. It's always incorrect and it's not correctable, no matter how hard you try. I called Medicare. They said I should consult my insurance company, Aetna. Called them and I got an agent who told me to consult my doctor. And the circle continues. Continuity in healthcare will keep you alive. It's just not available in the American health care system. And it's very plain to see at Associates MD. Oh, they're very nice people there, by the way. read more

Repulsive place to work for. They do not offer salary increases; not because they can't afford it but because the people on top (who does hardly any work) want to keep their positions in addition to securing THEIR salary increase. Management in the Personal Injury Department does not know one thing about managing. Their form of managing is placing the blame on lower-level employees while not providing the proper training and resources needed to complete the tasks needed. Delegation is required when managing yes, but not delegating ALL your tasks. That department needs to be wiped out and start all over again. Scheduling is always a problem; travel sublated offices sometimes have no idea why we are there and who we are after being told by management that we have patients scheduled there. Patients will show up to sublated offices that are closed because management dropped the ball over and over again by not confirming with the office that we will be seeing patients there. They are always overbooking patients, the manager never replies to texts when employees are trying to get a hold of them for emergency situations, which is always because of the over booking. It's almost like this is management's 2nd or 3rd job because they are never there for proper support. I'm sure if the owner truly knew what was going on then MAYBE there would be a little more accountability. It's a whole conundrum of confusion that I am glad to be done with. There are only "less than a handful" of good practitioners left. The crew that used to be there 2 years ago is no longer there and since then, this department is worthless. read more

Going to a doctor appointment is never a fun time. Usually when we're going to the doctor something is wrong or we're doing annoying annual check ups. I just switched my primary doctor to come to this office and was beyond happy. From the cleanliness of the waiting room, the friendly staff ,and the prompt appointment time..... I am glad I made the switch. I came in because of heel pain to the primary and immediately they made me appointment for the next day for the podiatrist at the same office. Both the doctor and the specialists were super friendly super helpful and I'm excited to finally take care of my situation with my heel. I was made to wait an hour. Ten minute visit. Dr Jaimes said she'd send a prescription on Wednesday morning. I confirmed again upon checkout that this is important. Staff told me that the prescription 'was sent instantaneously because it's electronic' and would be ready at the pharmacy in under an hour, which was before noon. It's now Fri evening, still nothing. I've called their office a few times and no one has sent the prescription, and they claim they cannot call the pharmacy as they're the messaging department. I've also called the pharmacist a few times, and they haven't gotten it, and that the medical staff can always call, but they chose not to do so. I'm leaving on a trip abroad this weekend for two weeks and still no prescription. This is super frustrating and has been a waste of my time energy and money. read more

This Review is for Dr. Gutman(Endocrinologist) and his office staff and nurse in University Drive Davie. My experience was excellent from the beginning to the end. The front desk staff was nice and informative. The nurse was kind and did an excellent job taking my blood. Finally, Dr. Gutman was just amazing. He hear my concerns and explain the treatment that I need to follow. It was a surprise for me that he also speaks Spanish so I felt very good since my first language is Spanish. Used to be a good office, but the doctors and office are now crooked. Filing false medical charges and if not paid will sent to collections. Will not give you your medical records or forward to a new doctor. Office should be shut down but a couple staff members are still good would hate for them to be let go. I get there and am informed I will be seen by a P.A. Which is ridiculous. My fathers appointment was at 11:00 am on April 12, 2016. He was seen at 12:00 pm. On three different occasions after 11:20, I asked the receptionist how long it would take for him to be seen. She replied back stating 15 minutes. After 15 minutes went by I was told it would take 10 minutes. After 10 minutes went by I was told it would take another 5 minutes. This establishment is very unprofessional & coming here caused a hell of an inconvenience for my father who had another appointment at 1 pm that same day. I would never recommend this place & I probably would never have my father come again. Punctuality is everything & Associates MD failed to provide punctuality. I would give them 0 stars if possible, this was the worst experience I have ever had "trying" to get a physical. I just relocated to Davie from NYC and needed to get set up with a new doctor. I am generally healthy and just like to have a yearly physical and bloodwork to make sure everything is good. First off, I needed 3 separate appointments to have a physical. The first appointment was an "intake" appointment, where they just asked basic questions and got general information. I have no idea why they couldn't just do it over the phone or email me a form, other than to charge me an extra $100. Then I needed to come back to have blood drawn, for an additional charge. Finally, I could come back a third time to review the bloodwork results and do the physical for another charge. The first 2 appointments were fine, even though I had to wait 45 minutes for the intake meeting. When I arrived back for my actual physical, the whole experience was awful. First, their internet was down (apparently there was an issue with ConEd in all of the SE FL), so they told me they couldn't review my bloodwork. Fine, let's just do the physical and then you can call me with the results from the bloodwork. Then, I waited for over 90 minutes for my scheduled appointment. I kept saying I was just going to leave and reschedule and they kept telling me it would just be another minute or two, so I stayed. Finally, I got into the room with the PA, and she was somehow able to pull up my bloodwork. She asked if I had been taking the prescription they had called in for me. Apparently, they had found a UTI in my urine test, and had called in a prescription for me. Unfortunately, no one had bothered to call me and tell me, so I had no idea what she was talking about. Then, she literally looked in my mouth and ears, tested my reflexes and was done. When I went to check out and get the prescription for the UTI, I asked about my medical records. I had filled out the request form the previous week when I had come in for the bloodwork. Not only had they not received them, when I called my Dr. in NYC to find out why, they had never bothered to request them. I filled out another request form and went on my way. In the PA's hurry to complete my "physical" she didn't bother to do a breast exam. As a woman in my mid thirties, with a history of cancer in my family, this is a huge reason why I get a physical each year. In my annoyance over everything I completely forgot to ask about it. Now 2+ weeks later, they still don't have my medical records and when I called to request to come in and finish the physical and have a breast exam, they refused. They said it's not part of a physical, it's part of a "well women's" exam. I don't need a WW exam, I am up to date on all other tests and I just want a breast exam, which has been part of every physical I have ever had. Now it appears that I am going to have to pay for another appointment, a ww exam I don't need, with a doctor I don't like or trust, just to get a breast exam that will take all of 5 minutes. It's going to cost me another $100+ since I have a high deductible health insurance plan that won't cover it. Overall it was a terrible experience from start to finish and I will never go back to them once this is taken care of. read more

My first visit was great, Lilly greeted me with a welcome smile and was very polite. She provided comfort with out realizing it. Doctor Ruth Catignas was very informative and order all the correct lab work, she provided information and steps for me to follow. My second Visit was even better. This doctor took the time to explain all the test results the good and the bad. No other doctor had done that before. The doctor was very open and clear on her instruction. Taylor went above and beyond to sort out insurance issues for me for my MRI. And the front office staff is very pleasant and efficient. If I could give this place a zero, I would. By far the worst medical office I've ever been too. I've never once had a positive experience with Debbie Tomas who is a PA there. A couple years back I needed two doses of a vaccination for school. She gave me the first but then told me I did not need the second and it was unnecessary. She claimed the CDC website said the same and she even asked Dr. Rosen and he agreed. I pulled up the CDC website and it stated "a patient did not need the second dose if over the age of 18 UNLESS they were a student or a healthcare worker". It seems like she only read what she wanted too. At the old location, a young woman was taking my vitals and even stated to me that she did not like working under Debbie or the office itself. That's how bad it is. I've had friends voice their opinion after going there once and they've all had nothing but negative things to say. She has no bedside manner and always seems miserable. If you're going to work in the healthcare field, at least have a personality and be a people person. If you make an appointment, be ready to wait forever. I once waited an hour and a half past my appointment time in the waiting room and the waiting room only had a few people in it. Last time I got called back on time, only to wait an entire hour in the room to see Debbie. If you can find somewhere else to go, please please please do so. You'll be happy you did.
