Our mortgage has been paid on time every month for over 18 yrs. I got a report from my credit monitoring service that my credit score changed. It dropped almost 160 points. Associated reported we had a late payment. The payment was made on time. Called the bank and they said my homeowner's insurance escrow went up $53. Therefore my on time payment was $53 short. We received no notification of this until my credit score dropped because they reported it as a late payment. I saw my insurance agent and he said my premium actually dropped. Almost by half. Called the bank again and asked for a copy of the statement from the insurance company raising my premium. They said they had no paperwork on it . Funny thing is, less than a week later, I received a check from Associated for escrow overpayment in the sum of $921.77 because my insurance dropped.. So they destroyed my credit rating for a bogus escrow increase that they can't document, were rude and unprofessional over the phone, and sent me an escrow refund check, but absolutely refuse to clear up my credit rating.
I'm still trying to restore my credit because of these crooks. read more
