She was absolutely fantastic. Her staff is super friendly. There was little to no wait after check in before being called back. I was able to get in same day by noon and leaving around 2pm. I was very nervous doing this since it was new territory for me but I felt more and more at ease with each interaction. The front desk ladies made sure to go over all the documentation I was signing and also went over all my options for anesthesia as well as after care instructions. They were very patient with me and could tell I was a bit anxious. I will say, I did have to wait a bit before being taken back but this is expected with a same day appointment so I am not in the least bit upset! I waited no more than 30 minutes!! The Doctor answered all my questions and even made sure to over inform me on everything that would be happening while I was under. I do not remember falling asleep or waking up, it felt like a matter of minutes. These ladies made my experience a walk in the park. I am currently on day 4 post-op and have very little pain and swelling! I could not be happier with my experience and level of service everyone provided.

Came to FSG because they processed through medical insurance. After booking the second appointment, I let them know that I had new insurance, and wanted to get that process going. I called no less than three separate times to speak with the insurance coordinator. Left messages, multiple times, with all the information. Today, on the day of my appointment they finally call back as i'm on my way to the appointment, and tell me that they didn't listen to any of my voicemails. They don't charge insurance any longer. When i got to the office they said it would be $1200. Its not even about the money, its about the fact that the office is so poorly run that they couldn't tell me that ahead of time. I'm in pain and need that treatment, now I have to make a new appointment somewhere else, and wait another month to get relief.

It was a haul from our house, but worth it for her safety and eventual peace of mind. CMH has a great reputation across the KC region, and I had no idea they even had a location up north here on Barry Road. It's kind of a random spot; I was expecting a full-blown hospital but it's sort of positioned in the back of a quiet strip mall. Easy in and out at least. You can check in on a computer when you walk in, and there are people around in case there are any issues. In our case, a bone in her elbow had separated, but almost miraculously gone back in right at the start of the appointment. So basically, it's like when you take the car into the shop and it stops making the noise and is fixed. Luckily the doctor explained exactly how this takes place, what to look for, and we were happily on our way. Overall a nice experience here and appreciate having them in the area in case things go down.

After seeing a crappy doctor at the Gashland Clinic who really couldn't have cared less, I feel really fortunate to have found a great doctor. Unfortunately I was recently forced to find a new primary care physician because my insurance does not accept her as a provider anymore. I would definitely recommed Dr. Smith as a family doctor. She's great. She always spent a lot of time talking with me about my concerns, treated me with the utmost respect and has good social skills. I've heard from other people as well that have Dr. Smith as their pcp and they think she's a great doctor too. If you're looking for a new doc and she's accepting new patients, I'd definitely give her office a call.
