I have been a patient at doctor's plus airdrie for many years. Over the last 3 years I have seen…read morethe efficiency of the office deteriorate. All the doctors I have had were great. e.g. One doctor recommended I see a specialist and indicated he would have the office arrange an appointment. After not hearing after 3 months, I phoned the office and asked what was happening. They looked at my file and said that the request had been overlooked by the office and they acted on it. I more recently was sent for x-rays and ultra sound for a back problem. After a week I had not heard anything. I phoned the office and was told the fax machine had been down for 4 days and they expected it to be fixed the next day. Hard to believe they couldn't afford to buy a new one. I was then sent for blood work. After 5 days of not hearing anything, I tried to phone the office to check. 3 to 4 times per day over a 3 day period I phoned and could not get an answer on the phone. I went in to see what was wrong and was told the computer system was down. Having run a business for many years, I wonder how this outfit stays in business. I guess that is why there is such a turnover of doctors there and is mostly left to walkin patients. I am considering moving to a different clinic. Dissatisfied

Worst experience in my life! I had non stop violent uncontrollable dry wretching causing high…read moreblood pressure and dizziness for hours before I was treated. I couldn"t even stand up. After several hours a miserable nurse wrecklessly stuck a catheder in my arm which blew a vein and was excruciating. It was agony. Bruising is unbelievable! She was absolutely careless. I think she had a bad day and took it out on me. I cried from the time I arrived til I left 7 hours later. The Doctor who saw me after over 6 hours was tired looking but helpful in the end.
