We recently requested service for a to and from trip to the airport. I reviewed the online site and the large escalade vehicles show hold 6 adults and luggage. We were leaving on a long trip and only took one bag per person so I would expect if the vehicle to hold us and our luggage and made sure I put in the notes about the number of five passengers and 5 pieces of luggage. The trip to the airport was more than uncomfortable to say the least and when the driver arrived he mentioned that he did not think we and our luggage would fit and offered no fixes or options. The luggage had to be piled to fit so that two of our passengers were crushed in a seat almost together. Then the driver got three separate calls on the trip, answering one of the calls on speaker with us in the vehicle talking to a client about finishing us up quickly so he can pick up another fair earlier than scheduled. Then he proceeded to do over 80 mph on 410 in bumper to bumper traffic to get us to the airport. When we arrived, I would usually provide extra trip over the standard 20% gratuity I had already been charged on my credit card, but did not feel the driver warranted the extra. He made sure to let me know that he was not happy about not getting extra cash and when I mentioned that 20% was already provided on my credit card charge, he informed me that "I will never see a dime of that". However, our pickup driver (thank you Javier!) was fantastic. Arrived punctually to pick us up, was very communicative about getting us with the least amount of walking. He helped with luggage and in/out of vehicle. He drove well and within the speed limits, he was conversational and very personable and did a great job. Would ask for him again and again. So you can understand my mixed emotions with this review and trying to be objective to allow Javier to redeem this rating. Thank you Javier. 12/28 Follow-up: Wow. Sure wasn't expecting anything from my review, but true to his word, Michael reached out, apologized for our trip, and refunded the fee. Thank you Michael and will be using again. Appreciate it.

Uber didn't notify us that they canceled the trip because the driver was unavailable that it was originally scheduled with, the appointment was scheduled for September 3, 2026 at 1:15 PM, they notified us that they were canceling it at 1:15 PM. Uber really left us hanging because we ended up having to drive to Austin. In order to make our Vonlane bus time at 4pm. why didn't they notify us much sooner so they didn't leave us scrambling to get to Austin? they deserve this one star and I wish I could give a review for the driver that canceled it. Usually Uber has been very good in the past, but they really left us hanging and disappointed this time.

Had experience using the services of the company during the wedding event. At first, there was a…read moremisunderstanding with the type of bus - instead of what we expected, the school arrived. Not exactly what I wanted to see at such a moment. As it turned out later, technically, the error was in our order, but it would be nice if this detail was spelled out more clearly. After the appeal, the situation was quickly corrected, and by the next stage of the incident we were waiting for a much more comfortable transport solution. This made a positive impression, especially considering that there was a reaction and a desire to correct the situation. The drivers were professional, the organization on the routes - without significant failures. There are things that can be improved in terms of communication and transparency in the choice of transport, but in general the experience remains rather positive.

The Ultimate Customer Service Story…read more We chartered a bus and coach for our daughter's wedding in Austin on March 30th. As the Father of the Bride I was shocked when the bus that showed up to bring our guests to the church was a school bus. After the ceremony I called Abdul to address my concern. After speaking to him it became clear that in reality the mistake was ours, not his. We had chartered a "transit" bus, which when you look on the website is a school bus. I wish the contract was more specific; as "school bus" certainly would have jumped out. But live and learn. Now to the good part. With my frustration high, Abdul was calm, cool and reasonable. He immediately realized I was not happy and kicked into high gear to see what he could do. While we had to take the school bus back to the hotel, by the time we left for the reception...less than one hour later...a gleaming full scale motor coach was sitting in front of the hotel instead of a school bus. Wow! I can't thank Abdul enough for stepping up. I was thoroughly impressed. When it comes to satisfying customers in a crisis, Austin Charter Services proves that it can still be done the old fashion way...do whatever you can to make your customer happy. I'll be back again some day for the next daughter. Thanks Abdul! Mike McCauley Argyle, TX P.S. The coach we ordered for the wedding party was perfect and the drivers were top notch.

I sent a meeting invite for their calendars so that Benny and the executive could see all of the details. Vehicle type, pick up time, driver name and phone number, ect....but instead, Benny sent one of his drivers to pick up the executive, WITH OUT TELLING ME!! It would have been 100% fine, IF he had communicated that change to me so I could let my executive know and feel safe as to what vehicle he was getting into. When I exclaimed the frustration, he simply said, "Don't do business with me and do not call me ever again!". He did not address my concerns at all. A simple text message would have sufficed to say plans/driver have changed. Finally, he would not release the new driver name/phone number to me - so I had to wait 1 hour to hear that the executive reached the destination safely. I do not recommend using Benny's Wine Tours.
