I would recommend that you have an ocean front unit for this company since my unit was Ocean Block and did not do well with rental income for the two seasons. I know that times have changed but I have rented this property since 1984 and never had empty weeks until after the pandemic. I guess that the prices of the rental units and dining in Ocean City has led to a decrease in time spent by families at the beach. However, I thanked OCMD for their attention to my unit!

It may be because it was the end of the rental season and the stains may just need a thorough rug cleaning. Contrary to the picture, there are brown jute carpets in the living room and dining room covering the wall-to-wall carpeting presumably to minimize the amount of stains during the season. If it weren't for the stained carpeting throughout, I probably would have given it 5 stars. The layout is good and the apartment is well appointed. Having a wrap around balcony was great because we had a full-on view of the beach and views of sunset from the side balcony. The balcony furniture was very comfortable. The doors leading to the side balcony also brought more light into the living room which made it bright and cheery. We will probably rent the apartment again but hope the carpeting is in better shape next time. Could probably avoid this by renting early in the season as opposed to the end of the season!

I really want to give a bad review just so people don't go here because I'm afraid if everyone…read morefinds out about this hotel, booking a room is going to become very difficult in the future. Does the hotel have a ton of accommodations? It does not. Some rooms have full bathrooms. Some rooms have just a toilet and shower in a space small enough to be a closet with the sink outside of the tiny bathroom. Staff isn't present 24/7 like most hotels, so if you need anything you have to be sure to request it prior to 4:00pm. Basically, you spend a lot of time on your own. With that said, however, the staff truly are the friendliest people. From the front desk to housekeeping and even the maintenance man, everyone was so kind and would converse with you like you were part of their family. The overall comfort was very much appreciated. The Beach Walk will definitely become your home away from home rather quickly. The best thing about the Beach Walk, however, has to be the location.

Awhile having a nasty attitude. Here's a tip, how about actually have someone there and make it listed that you have to go on a COMPLETELY different street. And hey, the number at the front desk is the same number provided that rings the exact front desk where no one was able to even pick the phone up. Please get some better people skills. In all honesty if you guys didn't charge for canceling I would've canceled.. When we finally got checked in, service was extremely slow. Won't be returning and ruined our stay here all together. Update, throughout the night since Cindy (the worker I said that has poor customer service skills put us in room 12 in the lobby. To which me and my s/o had people knocking on our doors because they called the number just for it to ring the front desk at the same said hotel that apparently "if you say reception/front desk it'll ring the one on 12th.". Which is completely false and other people had the same issue so much so they knocked on our door to ask US for help because they couldn't check in. To further add, once off the phone Cindy kept trying to ask my boyfriend what my name was multiple times to which he said her name isn't on the room. Cindy you're completely unprofessional, please choose a better job! Avoid this shady hotel at all cost

It's meh for me…read more The outside landscaping is nice and it is a close location to the boardwalk. This is what gives it an extra star. The room overall was spacious. The downside about being so close to the boardwalk is that you can hear everyone walking up and down the street and their conversations. We were on the bottom level so we heard everything! You can also hear other tenants conversations in detail through the walls of the bathrooms. In addition, the max height in the basement rooms is probably 5'7. I'm 5'2 and I could literally touch the ceiling without any effort. The cleanliness of the room was dubious at best. Things had an extra layer of dust on it which meant to me that the room hadn't been cleaned in a while. They had an identified stain on them -- could be blood, could be pasta sauce. Breakfast was meh but it was included in the price. Related to the breakfast, if you were in the rooms you could smell the breakfast being made. Normally, that wouldn't be a bad thing. However, the first morning we were there someone was burning bacon and that was all I could smell in the morning. Ironically, One of my roommates burns their bacon every. single. morning. I was hoping for two days away from the smell of burning bacon but to no avail. If you have an allergy don't believe them when they say just let them know and they will accommodate you. I was only able to eat the fruit. So if you're looking for just a place to put your head at night that gets you extremely close to the boardwalk and you don't care about cleanliness or sleep, this might be the place for you.

Then when you buy it you have to belong to RCI for 3 years before you can get your unit but you have to pay the 659 (estimate) condo fee per year. You try to get your condo but one year you had to reserve it between March and April but then the next year you had to reserve it a year in advance. So I have spent about $6000.00 and have never had the week in my condo. That buys me a week in a really nice place and while I have used RCI twice both places left a lot to be desired. This year I had canceled my RCI membership, I actually did it last year but they never received the form. This year I sent it Certified mail in Feb. Finally it was canceled. I called in March and then again 2 weeks ago to confirm my reservation which is how I discovered it was the week before Memorial day but all was good I was reserved. Try to save someone else these problems since no one wants to compensate me for the issue this week (a week in Sept. is not compensation), a week in Sept AND paying my hotel bill for the 4 days I did stay would compensation
