I arrived in AZ on July 4th 2021,after living in a sober house in Milwaukee for 9 months. At the time, my older sister was living in Phoenix, and dealing with several health problems, as well as having to cope with her husband's recently diagnosed alzhiemers. Little brother to the rescue. I should add, that 6 months earlier, my 2 younger brother's died. Drink and drugs were never in play during these challenging circumstances. Tragically, sister Cynthia passed 7 weeks after I landed at the Mountain House. Again, substance abuse never came into play, as I was spiritually fit, and able to rely on the extraordinary support of my fellow wounded healers at the M.H.

They made up for it every time with amazing coffee, Delicious foods and deserts. A warm toasty fire every night, also wonderful sleeping conditions I didn't even need a sleeping bag or my own pillow.(Lol) We had a great experience with a different group of friends and guest who showed up to serve those who were devastated by the horrible flooding that has never happened like that before. God blessed those who really stepped up. Also on a side note. If you are able to book a hunt. It will be a lot harder to kill anything with a full moon. Not only is she knowledgeable in the field and well versed in up to date research and tests available for my specific issues (for which I have many lol), but she's encouraging and listens to my progress updates and is constantly updating our plan to better fit where my body is each day and how I'm progressing overall, etc to ensure safety and actual success for the long scope of life. Really truly phenomenal person and I'm lucky to have found this great team of people. I work with Patty for massage on the west side location as well as Ashley at the west side location on other days each week. I've been given homework workouts to accomplish in between therapy sessions and the entire team communicates with each other and myself to provide a really ideal team care that's much more well rounded and fully encompassing compared to other physical therapy offices in town I've had experiences with. Very unique. My health conditions are extremely disabilitating yet Katie and the rest of the Core Balance team haven't given up on me nor allowed me to lose hope along the way. It'll be a long journey toward recovery but I've already made big strides and that's in great part because of this dedicated team. I see so many specialists at Mayo clinic and other great healthcare facilities on a consistent basis but Core Balance is really the one that's made the biggest impact overall in getting me as far as I've come. I keep them up to date on any and all updates with test results or new diagnosis and they modify my program accordingly to best suit my body's needs and capabilities. Katie, Patty & Ashley (plus Scott at the west side front office) are the best, in my experience! Highly recommend either location (just don't take my appointment times haha because I need my PT)
