It can be difficult to find any contractor, involving a homeowner service of any technical nature…read moreor aesthetic importance that truly is impressive. Well, we found one. His firm is all any homeowner could hope for ... and more. Shear Concrete. He's incredibly reliable, when so many vendors are not. He explains things clearly and stands by his promises. He's courteous to a fault. More than courteous, he's genuinely friendly and outgoing..., in every respect a pleasure to deal with. Important in terms of why we hired Shear Concrete, Trent has a conspicuous pride in his customer service and the quality of his workmanship. It's far beyond what any homeowner reasonably could expect ... and it's at absolute the highest level. Equally impressive, Trent's service is provided at a fair price and at precisely what the consumer was promised. The workmanship was spectacular. Many contractors would think that a sidewalk simply is, well, "a sidewalk". Not to Trent. His design AND workmanship are special ... superb actually. Drive by and see for yourself ... our Beloit address is below. Large brick house on Milwaukee Road, on the right, one lot short of Chapin. Our crowning compliment is that we were so pleased with Shear Concrete's work and the friendly and businesslike approach that we immediately retained the company for ANOTHER PROJECT. Anyone seeking more information is free to call Alan Truesdale @ 608.530.2893 Our address is 726 Milwaukee Road. My best, Alan Truesdale

They loved my bloodhound dog. They are just realy nice guys. The business owner, Brian was always on site and working. Not just barking orders to his workers. They also answered all my questions. It was almost hypnotic, for me, to watch them.

The wall is curved, has a random/sparse color pattern and a different sill. My impossible to match bricks also had to be salvaged. Roberto was quick to give me a fair estimate and work me into his busy schedule. He and his crew came on time, were super nice, worked through two days of rain and wind, salvaged my bricks! and did a great job. They also did some repointing in a few spots. He even came back to caulk later as soon as the weather was appropriate. All the work looks original. I have no concerns about the durability. I would, without hesitation, recommend Reyes Masonry to anyone and use them again.

I have NEVER in my life been strung along and manipulated as I have by this guy. I have done work…read morefor this company and after a year, they STILL have not paid me the money they owe me for their beautiful website. Go ahead and take a look at it (www.MGMLandscape.com) and you'll see what I mean when I say I did a great job but was then forced to work with HIS hosting company - and when they miserably FAILED to provide a WORKING HOSTING ACCOUNT for over a year, Max decided he was NOT going to pay me the measly $150 that was owed and due on his account. What kind of person and business owner would do this? I know: A person who has ZERO integrity and ZERO sense of responsibility to those he deals with. My opinion? If you can't trust a business to PAY THEIR RIGHTFULLY OWED BILLS, then you CANNOT TRUST THEM AT ALL! I am a Level 8 Google Local Guide, because my reviews, my work and my ethics are top notch. I have written TONS of reviews and have provided tens of thousands of people with REAL and TRUE information regarding local businesses and in my opinion, I WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH MAX RYKOWSKI for any amount in the world - ever again. After his hosting company FAILED to provide Max with a working hosting account, I even offered to host his website for FREE - FOREVER - just so I did not have to deal with his bad choice of hosting firms, but he refused and demanded that I fix THEIR problem, and then failed to pay me after countless hours of work trying to make him happy. Totally unscrupulous business, he has ripped off people before, just look at his online reviews. Also, when he doesn't like what you say, he USES HORRENDOUS PROFANITY and becomes even LESS reasonable than he already is.

They said that they would call before they came to work, but we came home one day to find that they had started. They finished when we were not at home. When we came home we found that they were short of the mark. Someone that we had never seen before came to ask us for final payment. We told him that it did not meet the specs that Max had written up and thought that it should be corrected or the price adjusted. He said that Max would call. Max never called but we came home one day to find them working on it. I walked to talk to Max but kept working feverishly and refused to acknowledge me. I went out 3 times. When they were done Max came to my door in an angry manner and demanded final payment. I asked if we could look over the project and he went into a tantrum. He angrily said that I had approved it when they got done, but I was not there at that time. I refused to pay until we went over the finished project. Max threatened to pull up the p[avers, and so I went into the house. He asked his help to pull up the pavers, and finally another man came to talk to me. He was rational, apologized for Max, and we looked at the final project. It was still short of the specs but close. I paid to get it over with. It was as if dealing a 4 year old throwing a tantrum.
