Matt is amazing...after 2 years with broken home repaired uppers, Matt got my fit PERFECT FIRST SHOT! His care and quality work, after getting fitted elsewhere 3 times before, is incomparable. Picked up my new dentures within a week and I couldn't be happier (short of implants, which I can't do because of density issues) with the fit, appearance and function. Thank you to all the wonderful, friendly staff at Aspen with a individual "high five" for Matt. read more

Was a patient at Aspen until I started having pain from a wisdom tooth id had for hears that never bothered me. During my initial appt a Dentist at Aspen told me to reach out if it ever started to hurt. 4 days ago woke up with pain from the tooth that Ive been treating with saltwater, icepacks and ibuprofen finally my face has swollen, I cant swallow or open my mouth. I call to request some pain medication and to be seen, I tell them my symptoms and what Im taking. without seeing me, the dentist prescribed amoxicillin and ibuprofen and refused to prescribe anything else despite having no history of drug use, and asked to be seen again, the dentist denied and essentially told me Im on my own and they wouldnt help my pain while I wait for my extraction appointment. So unprofessional, and risking my health by prescription antibiotics before even confirming if the issue was bacterial. read more

On around July 24th, made appointment at Aspen dental at 12:30. To get my girlfriend's teeth adjusted and ran to their office and told that after waiting 30 minutes to technician at left and could not do anything until Monday even though they are open and they called me. And I called back from verification appointment. How wrong it is that being discriminated for being a patient and a veteran at a dental office. It shall be reported to a higher authority and management level read more

Aspen Dental might be OK but the Scranton location is run by Scranton people and they suck. I had dentures made their and paid for by my insurance, which they will do once, the dentures did NOT fit right and I've never been able to wear them, I went back 3x to get this resolved and the most they offered was adjustments when you can clearly see their not even the same shape as my old ones. Also went their for an emergency tooth extraction and got the run around with the lady at the desk rolling her eyes and himming and hawing about everything, ended up going elsewhere, DONT waste your time or money! read more

if you are going to get denture work....make sure you ask for Matt. by far, the best lab tech there. Very knowledgeable, professional, caring and understanding. he made sure my ordeal was ending up perfect!! I would recomend him 100% if you want things right and with a outstanding ending. although all their staff were good, he was by far the best!!!! THANKS MATT. read more

They don't tell you when things are extra, also be extra sure to double check your bill because they'll often charge you for things you never got. I was supposed to be given a mouthwash and an oral cancer screening and never received either and then get attitude with no apology when I point these things out. I also get told "yeah fluoride is usually not covered by insurance" AFTER they give me the treatment. I've given this place so much money but I can't even get a sincere apology or acknowledge that they messed up. read more

I recommend if you need your wisdom teeth taken out to go here. 2 females surgeons operated on me so far so good im in no pain and healing correctly . Thank you to those amazing surgeons read more

Not only am I highly dissatisfied with the quality and lack of transparency with them, but now they are acting illegally. Beniversal, my health savings account, needs a copy of my itemized bill. They refuse to give it to me. We've tried 3 times. The first time, they refused to acknowledge me for 20 minutes standing at reception though they could clearly see me. My husband went twice, 3 weeks apart and was told both times that their systems were down. They were seeing patients and working on their computers both times. I'm going to try once more before consulting our attorney Here is the protections HIPPA provides in case any of you have the same issue with them. "You can ask for any or all types of information in your medical records, including: summaries of office visits diagnoses the dentists' notes laboratory results medication information images (X-rays, MRIs, etc.) account and billing information" read more

I called them in Jan 2023.. they did my consultation the next week.. they then scheduled my Referred procedure the next month.. it's Feb .. I came to my appt on Time! they called me Back one hour later.. and the surgeon told me I shouldn't get the procedure done and referred me someone else! This was extremely disappointing and Inconsiderate of someone's Time! Look further! read more

i walked in off the street without insurance and low income. Melissa(the manager I believe) would not let me walk out of that building without being taken care of and set up to save my mouth and health. She even went out of her way and quelled some of the bureaucratic nonsense that was holding the process up and keeping me from getting To the next steps. Thank you, and I'm looking forward to being able to smile again. KC read more

I made an appointment for a cleaning for my son. He drove 45 min to get there. They did the paperwork and X-ray s but told him it was "too late " to do the cleaning and that he needed to come back the next morning. He was unable to do so and now will be heading to college in another state without his cleaning. read more

I had to get my wisdom teeth removed. I was waiting for a call to give me pre op instructions, but instead I ended up calling them the day before and had to ask. They seemed immediately annoyed any time I had a question. I asked common questions such as eating/drinking restriction, smoking, and if I needed to pick up my pain management meds prior to my procedure. With great attitude I was told that they won't prescribe anything until AFTER the procedure. The week prior to my appointment I was in HORRIBLE pain and was taking about 800mg ibuprofen and it didn't even touch it. I called, again they sounded annoyed and told me they'd call back... they never did. So yet again I had to reach out to them. They told me that's all they'd give me. So I just had to deal with it. Immediately after my procedure I was in excruciating pain. The dentist told my driver I was fine and shouldn't be in any pain... meanwhile I was holding my face and sobbing! They made me walk out of the building while still high as a kite (I couldn't walk a straight line and the pain made it even harder, oh and there was a wheelchair in the building but they didn't let us use it) Being that I want able to pick up my pain management and antibiotic medication prior to the procedure my driver had to stop at my pharmacy drive thru where the tech was very concerned when she heard me crying and screaming from the pain. I have had extractions before with nothing but Novacaine, understand wisdom teeth are much more difficult, however I've never had such an ignorant, arrogant, disrespectful, and dismissive team in my life. The 1 1/2 star rating should've been enough to keep me away. If you're thinking of going here DONT!!!! read more

waiting times are so unprofessional. if you schedule an appointment at 1030 that means 1030, not 11:09

I contacted the office several days ago to try and work out a solution, I have yet to receive a response other than the comment on this post. Not one phone call or email, nothing. They clearly don't care about actually resolving the issue despite their "apology" read more

The only reason I wanted to go to this place is because according to their website, they do everything. I wanted to avoid going from one dentist to another. According to their website, the first visit is the most important, yet I had issues, and they weren't addressed. X-rays were taken first even before seeing the hygienist. Hygienist said they will do cleaning, but they didn't. On Facebook, they got good reviews. Other sites, it's mostly one star. Go to a private practicing dental office if you're a new patient. read more

Sad. They are a corporation. I'll never go back. I went to get my teeth cleaned and they sad I need a deep cleaning and antibiotics $3000. Basically they tried to hustle me and wasted my time. read more

The first woman who took my X-Rays was really nice, but it was a little downhill after that. They told me the sensitivity I was experiencing was from two small cavities, okay, no big deal. Doctor was very short with me, acted like she was in a rush, and handed me pamphlets when I asked about orthodontics and whitening. Whatever. So, after a few days, my teeth are experiencing immense pain when I'm eating in the same spots as before. I go back and a new doctor ground my teeth down, saying that they may not have gotten all of the residue off or they made the tooth shape a bit different than what I had before, causing it to rub. I am told I do not have to pay. I get a bill in the mail for almost $50, try to dispute it, ignore it for a few months, and now had to pay it because even my insurance says they won't pay it. I would have been cool paying it up front if they told me I would have to. Now comes the part that is even more fun. I go to a whitening specialist, and he tells me that my front tooth is yellow because it no longer has a nerve and is calcifying. They take SO MANY X-Rays at Aspen, and they didn't notice my dead tooth even after asking about whitening options?!? My tooth has been yellow for years, and after seeing two other specialists, it is confirmed that one tooth is calcified and another (one of the ones that "had a cavity") has a hairline fracture and damage at the root. I will not go back to Aspen. read more

Worst dental place I have ever been to. VERY EXPENSIVE.. I ended up going to a diffent place and paying all over again because their work is horrible. I would give it zero stars if I could. HORRIBLE PLACE...Stay away! read more

The staff is very friendly, and after having a bad experience at another dental office 6 months before, they listened to my concerns and were honest about the work I needed done. Upfront about the pricing and worked with me with what I could afford and when I could afford it. Highly recommended. read more

NOT GOOD!!!!! All the people that work there are very nice!! BUT I was told on my first visit after they had taken all my x rays that my out of pocket cost would be about $1700 for all the dental work I needed !!! Which included several fillings 2 extractions and two crowns. So far all they have worked on is 3 crowns which are not even finished yet I was told they would be in by this week December 27 then I was told they're not going to be in until next week!!!!! THEY KNEW I WANTED THEM IN BY NEW YEARS!!!! So far the out-of-pocket cost just to do those things is well over $2000!!!! I will not go back once these crowns are put in!!! In my opinion they pull you in by promising you the world then charge you out of pocket every time you walk in the door!!! I would NOT recommend aspen dental. NO WAY!!! I did talk to other patients in the waiting room and they are doing the same thing to them!!!! read more

This was my first visit to Aspen dental. I was expecting more than just x-rays (lots of x-rays) and a quick look in my mouth. There was no cleaning. Just a couple pick scrapes. The Dentist looked at my teeth and x-rays and told me of all the work I need done. I then had to talk to the manager and discuss my options. read more

Deceptive business practices. Won't schedule your cleaning until you have a consultation which is not free and which includes trying to get you to buy services that you don't need or want. Oh yea you have to make a second visit for anything. The first visit is just the consultation. The only people writing good reviews of this place have full dental coverage. I recommend avoiding like the plague if you don't... read more

First I would like to thank Aspen Dental for repairing my chipped tooth. dr. PAK was the doctor, Marissa and Patrich were assistance They all did a great job I cannot say what the expense was because it was free for veterans today and I appreciate them taking care of me and other veterans that needed dental repair. Aspen Dental is a great asset to our community and I just want to say thank you. read more

Nice people and very friendly. Not a fan of the surgeon. He seemed to have a hard time talking to me. Like letting me know what was happening. I ended up having 6 teeth pulled. I had no problems with that. But less than a week is going by and I'm having problems talking and eating. I'm feeling sharp cutting in my mouth. We I called them they let me come to the office right then. When I got there and was called back, the surgeon started pulling pieces of teeth out without numbing my mouth. I didn't mind so much since I was getting relief. But I guess one piece didn't want to come out. That's when I ended up getting my mouth numbed, i'm not sure exactly what he actually did but I do know that there was a dissolvable stitch out in my gums. From six teeth being removed with no pain to this screwup fix and having pain for five days straight. I'm done!! read more

I would give it zero stars if I could. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. They will tell you that you have a lot more wrong than you do and try to sell you a $100+ toothbrush and stuff. It's ridiculous. Go to local dentists until you find someone you like. AVOID THIS PLACE. read more

I felt like I was on an assembly line. He pulled the wrong tooth then argued that it was the right tooth. Partials were not right. I couldn't chew with them & everything stuck to them. I couldn't talk with the partials. Asked for my 1700.00 back. I had to run back 5 times (20 miles one way) before I got my money back read more

I went for an extraction and was told I needed to take 80$ worth of antibiotics first. I asked for amoxicillin (-10$) which my previous dentist gave me and worked. I was told no, to take an 80$ one. When I went back after the prescription was done I got the extraction done by dr pak and it was the most painful experience of my life. Then I was given another 80$ prescription for OxyContin. Well I still had the infection and called asking for amoxicillin again and was given another 80$ prescription for amoxicillin-clav. Amoxicillin costs like 7$ for prescription. I guess the -clan is the expensive end. Perhaps the pharmaceutical representatives want to push this -clav. So that's 250$ plus the monthly cost of my insurance for what dr pak told me was a 'simple extraction' that my previous dentist dr Germaine, who the insurance site falsely listed as a participant would have done for 60$ plus amoxicillin. While I was waiting to speak to the office manager, who was very nice, a woman who was meeting with her before me left through the waiting room said ominously 'check your bills' implying she was there to dispute a false charges. Oh and btw while I was waiting for my local to unsuccessfully soak in, dr pak was in plain view working on multiple patients. Felt like a hack house. I can't say enough how awful the entire experience went. The girls at the desk are very nice tho read more

Very condescending office manager! It seems like all they want to do is find the MOST EXPENSIVE way to do NOTHING!
