WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! The staff at the Ocala Aspen dental is great. The same cannot be said for Dr Sadda. My 82yr old Mom just had several extractions done. He refused to give her the gel application before the novacaine shot, then proceeded to give her seven shots. Separately, he was very rough with the extractions. She literally came home in tears, and as a result of the pain and experience, her BP shot to over 200 and she is highly hyperglycemic. The folks at Aspen Dental in Silver Springs Florida are professional and know their business!! I called that morning in horrible pain and they said come on in!! I had a difficult extraction and Dr. Barrow with the help of Miss Lisa got the tooth out and I felt instantly better!! Miss Hana did her magic and I was able to arrange the financing necessary for the procedure. I'm not kidding when I say " The folks at Aspen sincerely care and give you their very best care with every patient!" I witnessed children and people of all ages waiting to be seen. The extreme lack of communication within the Silver Springs, FL Aspen location guarantees you will have a horrible unprofessional experience. We went in for a denture replacement appointment and instead of it being a quick in and out we sat there for four and a half hours with very little communication on what was happening. The dentist spent all of 2 minutes and then had the nurse ask me to wait in the private waiting area. I then was told to go to the front desk to pay. I had to tell 4 people multiple times that I only wanted top replacement dentures. I even explained that on the website it states replacement dentures start at 399. The front desk cashier was horribly rude and just said "well they aren't" It was by far the worst dental office experience I've had. The only bright side was the X-ray technician was fabulous. She tried to help but was limited with her own time line. The also are very rude when it comes to insurances, on Aspen's website it states they take my dental insurance but the front desk kept saying no and it must be another location. Very poor communication skills. Wife called and left several messages via voice mail and live. She was in need of an extraction and Aspen was a provider for our insurance. Wife dropped of requested X-ray and referral, then waited and waited and waited for a call. called more and left more messages. She never received any response. Final call on 2/5/2025 and was informed Aspen does not do single extractions. Almost 2 weeks they sat on this when one quick answer is all that was needed. I see the Aspen Dental commercials citing paitent care and desire to improve the specific state and location. I just moved to Ocala Fla. Unfortunately I had a tooth emergency. I tried every Aspen Dental to see me if they would see me and possibly repair/replace my tooth. The sad thing is not ONE of these Dental treatment centers would even consider seeing me let alone treat me! The staff answering the phones were rude and totally insensitive to my situation. When I finally found one location that would see me they stipulated i needed an appointment before i could do a "walk in" for treatment. I rushed to the location and the woman at the desk told me flat out she did not care if I had an appointment and would not see me at all. Worst dentist!! I went to Aspen for extractions & dentures. I paid extra for the "better" dentures & additional warranty. The final dentures don't fit - they're too big. I actually have to take them out to eat. The "teeth" are too big & protrude, making me look buck-toothed. Because of the form, it causes pain in my jaws when I try to chew. When they wouldn't remake them, I requested a refund. Not only would they not refund my money, they voided my warranty & banned me from the practice. I just found out that they left a broken piece of tooth in the bottom that is trying to work its way out. It HURTS! I haven't been able to put in my bottom plate for months. They never return your phone calls or do follow-ups as they say they will. I've called them everyday for a week straight for an emergency extraction. I've spent more time on hold then actually speaking with someone. The one time I did go into the office they rather have had personal conversations then greet or communicate with the patient. The receptionist was the only good thing about the place friendly and helpful. It seemed like they overbooked patients so people had to wait inside for more than 2 hours to just to get an xray . Very disappointed in the whole experience from having to redo the paperwork twice to the xray machine not working to the office furniture being dirty and some of the chairs with rips in them. Then they tell me my insurance doesn't cover cleanings or the exam which I know is clearly not correct. I got attitude when I said I would not pay for a cleaning that is supposed to be covered by my insurance and left with paperwork telling me the treatment plan they set up for me would cost me almost $1500.00. I had my teeth pulled and in the process I had to ask the dr shut the door so I as a patient could get some privacy. Once I am complete aspen contacted me to tell me I have a remaining 529 left on my account and did I want it refunded, so I filled out the paperwork for the refund and I waited 2 months. I called back they said the new amount was now 459 and it should appear in my account in 2 days so when that didn't happen I called back and they said there is 6 dollars now. This dentist just ripped me off for 500 dollars. I will never go back and neither will anyone in my family. I don't recommend this dentist when looking for a quality honest dentist! read more

Two of the Aspen Dental offices in Ocala are so screwed up they don't know if they are coming or going. I have been going to the office in Silver Springs, Ocala and all I have ever had at that office is a headache. They don't bill my insurances. They had their phones down for over a month. After that they had to shut down their computer systems and I was never able to get an appointment to continue my treatment. Now that I finally was able to get an appointment they are trying to charge me for another treatment plan because the dentist that did my original plan left the practice. They argued with me about what I got done already and about how my insurances work. They have no clue and just want to try to charge more money on my accoun. I have all my paperwork from the start of treatment and if I have to take them to court for being thieves, I will. I will never ever do business with Aspen Dental. The only reason I am still finishing up my treatment is because they already got my money. read more

I am not a new patient at Aspen dental. Actually, I've had 2 previous visits with them which both went fine. My tooth extractions were done the same day. Today's visit was completely different! First off when i made an Appt for this visit i checked in as a Tooth Pain and my Appt was set for 9am. I got there a few min early and was called in fairly quickly but between the X-rays, hygienist chat and the Doctor i was there for 2 hours and they didn't do the procedure there. I really needed a tooth extraction because i was in severe pain and i've made it known. Employee told me they had no time to do it the same day which my wife sat in the waiting room and clearly heard the employees in the back telling each other to call certain people to come in because they have room! Meanwhile I'm already there, in pain and they couldn't do the extractions?! And as a reminder I'm not a new patient! I have to wait another 4 days in pain until i can get it taken care of! Mind you....I paid in full for the services. It seems like they only care about charging your insurance and collecting there money QUICKLY but to help a patient in need takes several days. read more

Aspen Dental has the worst customer care of any business in Ocala. After calling and requesting I rearrange my schedule to accommodate them I agreed to reschedule my appointment one day earlier at 12:30 pm. I arrived at 12:20 and signed in, the receptionist never looked up from her desk nor was my presence acknowledged. At 12:30 I was called to the desk and told I would be called back momentarily. Thirty minutes later at 1 pm I still had not been called back. I would add the office was empty, with no one coming or going. Aspen dental does not care about your time, they do not care that you have rearranged your schedule at their request, Aspen cares that you sit down shut up, and accept their horrible customer service. Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from these hacks as possible. Aspen Dental 4910 E Silver Springs Boulevard should close, retrain the entire staff on how to treat customers, and give it a fresh try. Around November 2017 they made a set of false teeth for me, they did not fit well. The teeth made me bite the inside of my lip often, which made blisters. Around October 2018 they made another set, different location. Ended up with the same problem, doctor told me I had to train my brain not to bite my lip. Went back to the first location and spoke to them. Person in charge told me they would speak to the doctor and get back to me, did not hear anything. November 2019 went back four times and called twice refused to talk to me. So much for their guarantee and seven year warranty! read more

Scammers! I scheduled a new patient visit with a cleaning. They took xrays then put me in a room to see the hygienist. She examined my teeth one by one and called out numbers 1-6. She said 1 is good 6 is bad. All I heard was 3,4,3..4,3,3.. and so on. She poked my gum with the scaling tool which I definitely felt. After the exam, she said I had a lot of plaque buildup- thus the high numbers ( I have NEVER had an issue with buildup, I take care of my teeth). I would need a deep cleaning (lol). Then she asked if I tasted blood (DUH), she said that it was my gumline which was showing excess buildup. THEN she told me I had a cavity behind one of my lower front teeth. She gave me my papers and told me to go to the front dest. Umm, where is my cleaning? The receptionist said I needed to come back, for the deep cleaning and the cavity to be filled. I made a point for this visit to be a CLEANING. I asked her how much this was going to cost and she said $340.00. I get 2 cleanings free of charge each year. She said its going to cost because of the deep cleaning they need to do. I walked out. Went back to my first dentist just this morning. He said my teeth look great, there is no plaque buildup and cant find a cavity anywhere. Please beware with this office, they are out to make money! read more

So both I and my wife are busy people that work for a living. We scheduled an appointment two weeks ago (a few months at the time I edited this to be more accurate and understandable as it still broils me a place could disrespect there clients like this.) received a call the day before while we where working and could not respond as we didn't get off till they where closed. They took the liberty to have us waste a days work worth of pay and canceled our appointments cause we couldn't answer. We wouldn't have set the appointment if we weren't going to keep it. This is treating there customers like they dont want or need there business. why would you trust a doctor's office that doesn't trust you and offers a well if you sit around and wait we can try to see if we can take you as an emergency walk in as a best they could do. Wouldn't have set an appointment if I hadn't decided to go. You want me to pay you to cost me money and provide no service... wasting my time there's a million and one cheaper and better dentists pick any place but this. Pissed. The villages & Ocala same owner (FYI.. not using my real name here) I scheduled an appointment for a cleaning as a new patient. The first available appt was here in the villages. I waited for this appt. I get here and I'm told that I'm not getting my teeth cleaned today. I said what??? The dental assistant told me their policy is first to x-ray me and evaluate me. That's my 1st appt. Then I come back, and that their FIRST available cleaning is in December. (December! It's Aug7th today!! You can't make this stuff up )Then she tells me it's the law. Ok. It's the law. So I told them when I called to make the appointment at your "call center" it was NEVER mentioned that it's a two-part appointment and that your 1st avaiis DECEMBER!! 4 months away!!! I scheduled a cleaning for today! I specifically told the girl that I needed a cleaning before 10 August & that I had an event coming up. So, in essence this was a complete waste of my time and I NEVER would have agreed to this ridiculous timeframe. I could have searched for another dentist. Apparently the person at the call center didn't know her job and I said to the guy behind the desk where is the office manager? The manager wasn't there. I asked if I could speak to the dentist. I did not get to speak to the dentist. The staff said that they were going to review "the call from the call center" - Like that's going to do me any good today. Here's another little detail. I was quoted $70 as a new patient for a cleaning. These people at this office in the Villages said that's incorrect as well. What a total sham. Whoever owns this franchise you should know about this. To the general public be warned to double check all the information you get from this company before you schedule an appointment with Aspen dental. I'm currently at the one in the villages writing this from the parking lot I'm so upset.The call center People apparently don't know their job. As for the people at Aspen dental in the villages they weren't very sympathetic that I drove 45 minutes to get here Plus I had to premedicate prior to this appointment. No courtesy was given to me to possibly fit me in at a diff location, somewhere after getting examined and x-rayed today, nothing zero zip. Wow all I have to say is in today's day and age if you don't have customer service good luck to you. I told them I was going to leave this review. They didn't care about that either. I was scheduled to have 6 cavities filled. They planned to split the cavities up into 2 appointments. Upon receiving service for the first 3 cavities while the young female dentist was working on Realigning my bite. She asked me was my bite ok. I told her That I was numb from the Articaine shots she administered so I couldn't tell. At this point she turned to her dental assistant rolled her eyes and smirked. I don't think that she believed I saw her but My wife was on the other side of the room and she saw her gesture as well. I felt like this was a very unprofessional thing for a trained dentist to do and i didn't feel very comfortable for the remainder of the Stay. Honestly I just didn't want to leave with my bite off centered. Also the the front receptionist Jessica is very rude. I was due for my next cleaning, the staff greeted me warmly and had me checked in within a couple of minutes. The Hygienist Kayla, was great and thorough on the cleaning keeping up with my needs for cleaning around the work I have had in the past.
