I was rescheduled 3 times and once I wasn't even notified. I am in the middle of an Invisalign like treatment and was supposed to return half way through to receive the rest of my trays and they kept rescheduling me weeks away because the doctor was busy all of a sudden the day of my appointments. I also asked if I can be assured by the doctor that this timeframe wouldn't affect my treatment. They said they check and call me back and I was never contacted again. Once I was a day away from my most recent appointment I was called to confirm and it was a much later time. I inquired why and they said they bumped me due to a bigger case. I was never notified of this. They said they could fit me in a a few more weeks which would have been 7 weeks since my half way mark. Made appointment for cracked tooth and extraction . Had been a couple years since last visit and x-rays Was told I was considered a new patient and would have to have x-rays and pay in advance. I only took one check to pay for services. Was told that they could take x-rays and would have to reschedule for extraction due to failure to have payment due to pre-paying for x-rays .. Avoid this dentist at all cost. I was scheduled for a new patient exam. Took a day off work and confirmed multiple times of my appointment. My appointment was for 8:30am. At 7:50am I received a phone call, the lady informed me that she had two call offs and had to cancel my appointment. Then proceeded to be rude and tell me there isn't anything they could do. So here we are a wasted PTO day for nothing and no apologies. This place is an unprofessional joke. read more

I had a set of dentures made here and the bottom denture does not fit properly. I last saw them on December 26th after having a miserable time trying to eat my Christmas dinner, but I was told to leave the denture in and let it rub where it was bothering me. So I did and when I went in on the 26th the dentist said "Oh yes! I see now where it's been rubbing". and he took the denture and made some adjustments handing it back to me and asking if that felt any better. Well, of course, it's going to feel better the minute I put the denture in, but let me move my mouth to talk or to eat, and then let me see how it feels. Well, they set me up with an appointment on January 15th, but I started calling them on the 3rd asking if someone from the office could call me to arrange for me to come in sooner than the 15th explaining that my bottom denture was rubbing the inside of my mouth so bad, I can't even eat mashed potatoes. Today is January 10th and I have called the office 4 times since the 3rd and not one person from that office has had the courtesy to return my call. Is this any way to treat a patient? read more

Aside from the very pleasant receptionist, my family's time time and travel expenses were wasted. It was not emphasized to me over the phone that the service I was traveling to my appointment for was not guaranteed. I know of no other service or business that schedules appointments while the service is contingent on exams and xrays which are required, also not mentioned over the phone, and their decision on whether or not they can provide treatment. So you're traveling and spending time and gas without accomplishing the purpose of your visit. I give this office a "C" grade on Covid-19 mitigating protocol because I was told over the phone that masks were required but then see their office sign that it was voluntary, and I was also told (not asked) by dental assistant to "remove (my) mask" and she also stood and walked too close to me, dirtying one of my shoes. read more

I could never recommend this "dental office" for a rat. They have made the entire pricess a nightmare for me. I've been lied to, laughed at, overcharged & had one "dentist" start a filling, then refuse to finish it. I asked for my file & they withheld all the encounter sheets. The office manager claimed they were all electronic & could not be printed. However, I had to sign each sheet that I had taken my antibiotic. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS! read more

Save your money!!! My partial broke in half in my mouth when I was eating a sandwich!! I called and they did nothing for me!! I don't live in Indiana anymore but they didn't offer to refund anything to me, didn't offer to refer me to an Aspen dental in my new area!! What a waste of money!!!! I truly feel that they just take advantage of people without dental insurance!!! I dropped a couple of thousand dollars there with everything I had done and now can't even smile in pictures! Went to my apt last year. The office is beautiful and very clean. The front desk and the staff were very nice. I was told that I had two cavities that needed taken care of and it would be several 100 dollars out of pocket. I was unable to afford the services so i put off the dental work. Usually I am skeptical of "chain dentistry" but this particular Aspen Dental is an exception. The good dentist that is typically here is the owner of several Aspen Dental offices, so the best work here and train newer employees. The office staff are friendly and engaging. It feels like a small town dentist office. That is until you go back into the examination rooms. They have the latest and greatest. Look, this is a one stop shop, especially when Dr. Fazio DMD is there because he is THE MAN. Don't expect him to refer you out to someone to do this procedure or that procedure. He does it all. He put in implant in my front grill where my original took had been capped for years and broke. It looks amazing! It is a beautiful cosmetic job. And like I said, this is the "A" staff that trains the employees at his many other locations. They work with you on pricing and copays whenever they can. I visited Aspen Dental on a Saturday afternoon and was greeted by a warm and friendly staff. It is a clean and inviting atmosphere with all the latest equipment. The staff is very informative explaining every step of a procedure. Dr. Fazio did an amazing job repairing a broken tooth, it looks better than it ever did!! I went to see the aspen dental today and it was not a pleasant experience at all. First, I arrive there on time and stood in front of the front desk for s few minutes and the receptionist girl ignored me right in front of my face. There were 3 other girls standing behind that receptionist desk and they all kept silent and looked at me as if I was there for nothing. I have all my paperwork ready because I downloaded them from the website and filled them at home to save time of waiting. However. they make me wait for at least 15 min there. Then a girl took me in and asked me a few questions like what was the last time I saw my dentist and then made me wait another 15 minutes for the dentist to come in. Meanwhile the room was freezing cold and I had to have my heavy down jacket on again all the time. The dentist came telling me that I could not have an x-Ray because I am pregnant and they need a medical release from my OBGYN. He did a visual exam for my teeth and told me I have small cavities and need treatment. Excuse me, I never ever had any tooth pain and I do not eat sweets much at all. They wanted to have a treatment plan for my cavity teeth and they said without treatment the teeth cleaning will not do much. I said I came in today because first I want to have my teeth cleaned and see what you can do for my teeth grinding problem at night. They ignored all that wha to need to have done, insisting that I need an x-Ray for my treatment. And they tell me they cannot do regular cleaning for me unless I have that X-Ray and have treatment together with that cleaning. After the dentist, they sent me over to a green room to wait for a girl to go over the price list, which takes another at least 20 min. That girl was ready but she did not come in to see me until I went out to use the restroom and she thought I was leaving. She told me the cavity filling is about $350 after insurance coverage and again they need the medical release from my OBGYN and they need that x-Ray. During my visit with that girl, she put a call on hold forever which means she does not care about patients. I was there since 9am and when I came out it was 10am and all they did was to give me a visual check up and let me wait at different rooms, which takes forever. I never waited that long in a doctor's office. They did free check up for everyone even if you do not have insurance, however, they tried to hook you up with expensive treatment plans they want but ignore your needs. I will say that I will never go back to this dentist office again. read more

I had an appointment scheduled for my son and me at 3:00 pm for cleanings. We had been at this office in 2017. We waited 40 minutes to be taken back to start my son's cleaning. There were no other patients in the waiting room and the hygienist was at the front desk on the computer during our wait for the cleanings. I'm not sure why it took so long to wait to start the cleanings...anyways, for both of us to have our teeth cleaned and x-rays, it took two hours. we did not leave the office until 5:00pm. My son just had his teeth cleaned at this office in July 2017 and was told after this cleaning that he had 7 cavities. No mention of 1 cavity in July 2017. I was told that I needed two crowns on my molars. So, I went for a second opinion...I went back to the office to get my x-rays which I needed for the second opinion. I was the only person in the waiting room. The receptionist started to process my request for the x-rays. I was already waiting about 15 mins. A patient walked in and the receptionist immediately started to take her information and process her appointment. I waited for another 15 mins. After she processed the patient I asked her why she did not finish my request before taking the patient after me and she said that she had a scheduled appointment and that she as a patient of the office. I told her that I was a patient too. I waited 45 minutes and then was told that they could not find my son's x-rays. The next day I went for the second opinion at a local dentist. I did not tell him what the recommendation was from Aspen Dental and he did not ask. He told me that I needed 1 crown, not 2! I cant wait to get my son a second opinion once I get his x-rays...he probably doesn't have 7 cavities...I believe that this office is unprofessional and tells patients that they need services that are not necessary!! read more
